Decided to book here because of a great experience at another Dormero hotel in Plauen. It was not the right decision. First of all, this location (front desk) is only staffed part time, so if you need help in the morning, I wish you good luck. Charging for an unsecured, not gated, open parking? I don't think so. And 15eur per night? What? This is Deggendorf, not a major city. The rooms are small, and the bathrooms are even smaller. I absolutely hated that mine was a 'wet room' so after you shower, everything is wet the rest of the day. If you accidentally go brush your teeth in your socks, your socks get wet. And they were your last pair of socks, I'm sure. Also, that small towel you throw there to keep the floor dry? It gets wet and stays permanently wet for 3 days. So, remember to not go brush your teeth in your socks. Seriously, the shower room is suffocatingly small. The building is a bit run down, with plenty of walls and fixtures that need touching-up. If you decide to walk from the lobby to the street, the atrium where the stair and elevator are gets HOT. Like you can cook in it. The location is weird, but convenient for many things. Breakfast was great, and I still like the character of Dormero hotels. This one just needs a bit of TLC.

Great stay for a night on our road trip. Lovely comfortable beds and cushions. We slept so good. The staff are very friendly and speak great English. A little bit far from restaurants but there are shops around should you need anything quickly. Breakfast was very good.

Greeted at reception with a warm welcome, the room was really nice and quiet with adequate space and the bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the facilities were excellent. The hotel is well situated in the town and there is a lovely roof top area with tables and chairs offering a great outdoor facility in the summer time to enjoy a drink from the bar.
