Clean room with kitchen amenities. Short walk to beach. Very clean pool. Short walk to pier and a few restaurants. Staff was friendly. Would definitely return!

No weird smells, clean, pet friendly, and right on the beach. Parking was convenient as well.

Over all we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was super friendly. We stayed in the poolside suite, it was clean. Had everything in the kitchenette that you’d need if you were planning to cook there. My only complaints are the freezer/fridge smelled strongly of fish. Not sure if maybe someone previously stored fish in there. And the bathtub needs replaced, it felt very soft as if we were going to fall through at any moment.. Other than that our stay was great. Family enjoyed the pool, it was clean. Great easy access to the beach. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to restaurants, Ice cream shop and convenience store. We would definitely stay again.

very reasonably priced and kitchen was set up well. Parking is an issue, one pass per room, and it is tight. Always want to complement owners who have remodeled from original construction. Would stay again.

Great location, beautiful beach. Pool, picnic and grilling area are terrific. Will definitely be back.

The pool was very cloudy each day we were there and we noticed the birds taking dips in the pool aas well....

We stopped and stayed the night on our way home. It's your basic little motel in front of the ocean. The room was clean and had a little kitchenette. The linens were clean too. Pool is small but good enough to relax in. The beach is less 100 yards away! Some parts of the motel are a little dated or needs some touch up work. All in all for the price, being right on the beach, and within walking distance to food. We will be back for sure!

The location is good right on the beach.we had a first floor unit and clearly heard the people above us. It was loud.so not sound proof at all. Grounds had cigarette butts around and unkept areas. The lady at the desk was very friendly. Pet friendly right on the beach is the best part.

My wife and I decided to do the beach for our anniversary. She found the hotel and thought it was cute, and it offered what we needed. an ocean front view with private balcony, kitchenette and easy access to the beach for morning walks. We were so excited and couldn't wait to arrive. Prior to arriving they offered online check-in, which was a breeze. Upon arrival they knew us by name, offered us the key (a real key, not a key card) and other vital info and we were on our way. Warning: pack light! There is no elevator and going up & down three flights of steps was no fun. Interior of the room was nicely decorated, however they need to make some repairs to the flooring, the baseboards & trimming, and offer firmer pillows. The bathroom needed a little help, especially the shower pressure and the bathroom door wouldn't close, but it was clean. We loved the kitchenette and our view from the balcony. If they shutdown for maybe three weeks and made a few updates this hotel would be great. It's within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, bait shops, parks and a pier that offers fishing. Two pools and a beachfront...what more could you ask for? Vending machines! Where were they? we actually cut our stay a day short due to an emergency, and understandably was unable to be refunded. Overall it was a nice time, but I don't know that I would choose this hotel again. Just wish it was more polished and had an elevator.

This was one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed. The staff was wonderful and very nice. We also enjoyed talking with the manager, Dave, who was onsite daily walking the property making sure everything was good for all the guest. This was our first time staying here but felt like we’d been staying there for years. We will definitely plan another trip next year. The only suggestion I would have, since the property doesn’t have an elevator, is if you are handicapped to make sure you request a ground floor cause the stairs to the 3rd floor are a little steep and narrow.

Hair in the shower and refrigerator along with old food.used towels behind the bathroom door.bugs, only one window air conditioner worked, we had a 2 bedroom and that units hot air dumped into a hall stairway so that part was 100 plus degrees, sure it's a code violation. Funny thing was there was another window it could have been it and would probably work they did clean next day, but only half was done . We will never stay there again.not sure how it's a high rating, also pictures are not same as the room, they didn't look anything like my room! Don't leave valuables in your room, I could easily push the door open, my truck was safer. That's crazy.

First off Faulse advertisement! Our room didn't look like the ones they have as examples, our room had carpet, when we took our shoes off it felt sticky and icky under our feet so we kept our shoes on when in the room. When on the balcony you could tell the wood was in need of replacement, when you touched the railing it was loose.The beds were comfy I will say that. When you stepped inside the tub you could feel it sink in, which let me know the wood underneith was rotten. Then a worker from the hotel knocked on our door saying someone from our room reported a water leak....nah we didn't... can we say sketchy?, so each time we went out the room we kept all valuables with us! The view was beautiful, hotel was in a great spot just needs more updates. Really wish I would have went on Google and actually googled the hotel vs what the app said.

The location is amazing! right on the beach. The room was clean. Bathroom needs exhaust fan. The walkways and stairwells were dirty with bird droppings, cigarette butts and garbage. Daily hosing and sweeping should be done. I would gladly pay a little more to have a clean place too bad management doesn't do this.

My ten year old son and I came to Kure Beach for a last minute before school trip. The room was a little bit dirty (hair in the shower and sand in the floor) but nothing I couldn't overlook. The beds were super comfy and it was perfect for just the two of us! We will definitely be back! :)

Everyone was so kind to us during our stay! The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that our room upon arrival was a little dirty. Some of the surfaces and floors were dirty and there was a used bandaid on the floor in the middle of the room. Other than that, everything was delightful.

The front desk staff was very pleasant. Allowed for early check-in and was offered an upgraded room at no additional cost. Great view of the ocean and the pier. Very retro nostalgic lodging and was just what was looking for.

The room was ok. It needs maintenance it is getting run down. The pool was nice but again getting to the point of needing maintenance. Great views of the ocean

Location by boardwalk was great! Wish there was a few more food options available during the work week. Some only open a few days & one was sporadic. Bed was okay, kind of hard for side sleeping. A/C units were very loud, but that helped to drown out neighbors. Great to have the kitchen unit, didn’t have to eat out all the time. Easy walk to beach!

The staff is really friendly and will do anything to make the stay comfortable for you. The only complaint is that the A/C is a window unit and is very loud. Makes sleeping challenging when it’s turning on / off all night long.

Decent place to stay. Not fancy and rooms could use updates.walls are very thin so we listened to screaming kidsnext door .I would opt for the upper floor, better view and no noise above you. Like the beach being so close

Ocean view, pool and pet friendly. Bedroom and kitchen have been updated but bathroom older. Building older in general and could use updates. Room was small. It was clean.

The property is VERY conveniently located! Close to some good restaurants and close to pier! Easy short walk to pier, beach and restaurants! The downside unfortunately the room interior is drab, but clean. Bed fairly comfortable with lots of pillows. Be aware that if you are on a lower floor, you will hear continuous stoping, kids jumping, running, very noisy! Reserve top floor or bring your ear plugs! Staff was friendly. Would stay again on top floor only!

Great location next to the beach. Decent room, but says listing says full kitchen with cooktop. However the cooktop didn't work. Maintenance not available to resolve it in a timely manner.

Staff was super friendly. Balcony view was awesome. Only take back is the floors are thin, so go high if you can. The gymnastics of a 4 year old above me ruined the otherwise perfect aesthetic.

This was my first time staying at this establishment. I had read fhe reviews, so the room not matching the pictures I was prepared for. The rooms are dated, but well maintained. The shower, however, was a different story. There was no way to adjust for height and it leaked down the base. The internet didn't work the entire time we was there. They really need to address that. Those are the only complaints that I have. It rained, so it was some kids downstairs making noise, but that's to be expected. The sound carries I guess from the building being older. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Loved that housekeeping didn't bother you early in the morning. The location is the star of the show though. The view right at the pier is very beautiful. Great value for the price. Would visit again.

Stay was okay. You are paying for beach front. Lots of rain caused the ceiling to leak. Teenage staff member walked in without knocking to try to check it out. Front desk staff was really friendly, but did not receive any compensation for the leaking. Decently clean but can tell upgrades are needed.

Great stay! The only complaint is that you can’t get early check in due to it being a smaller motel and if you want to check out before 11am you have to wait till at least 9am because that’s when the staff gets there. Other than that we loved the location for beach access and couldn’t beat the price for a quick summer beach trip.

The service was rude, the check in experience was terrible. The property next door was ready to let me check in early and the room was ready at no extra charge...not true at Admirals Quarter. The staff was downright rude. I have been all over the world and no one asked me for money to check in an hour or two early. Especially with the rude service. Terrible And I'm sorry but Kure beach near the drain pipes that drain right on the sand on the beach where everyone is sitting is just gross. Who's idea was that horrible eye sore? massive drain pipes draining sewer water onto the beach....stay somewhere else.

Me and my family booked this stay for 2 nights unfortunately the room’s fridge wasn’t getting cold so I contacted through text about my issue and they said they was gonna change rooms for us but this place was booked with no vacancy but they got us a room Next door at sand dunes with a major upgrade from our last room that we had booked. Perfect places, very clean both locations & very nice and polite people. Not far to walk from your room to the ocean. Will stay with them again most definitely!!! Thank you guys for a wonderful first time experience.

I liked how close it was to the pier and in walking distance to many things. Easy access to the beach. I wish the parking lot was bigger but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location. You can’t beat the location of this property. It’s oceanfront and right next to the pier. It’s also right next to several restaurants, a coffee shop, several bars, an ice cream and bagel store…just about anything you could want within a block. I was a little worried that it might be noisy but it wasn’t at all. It’s also only 10-15 minute drive from the shops and boardwalk in Carolina Beach. The property itself is nice…definitely a little older and not fancy, but it was clean and nice. I’ve stayed in much worse. The bed linens were ok. The towels were surprisingly thick and nice. We had a kitchen and it was small and very basic. We were only there a few days so we didn’t plan to cook much. It was fine for us but if you are planning to cook a lot, it would be difficult because there were only basic utensils and pots and pans. Sink was really small but it did have a dishwasher. I would definitely stay there again because of the great location.

It was amazing & the price was by far the best!! We will definitely be coming back. It is right beside the pier, the boardwalk & only a few miles from the Aquarium as well as Fort Fisher. Everything is literally in walking distance.
