'Fern Cottage' Volcano Studio m / regnskovsudsigt!

Wow! What a pretty little cottage near the crater of Kilauea! We enjoyed the studio apt as a fun getaway. Set in a tropical paradise, our kitchen and sleeping area were the right size, the bathroom & shower were large and our hosts supplied us with disposable slippers and treated us to macadamia nuts. We ate at Cafe Ono and Kilauea Lodge for lunches and brought leftovers home to the full size refrigerator. Filtered and bottled water were ready for us. Only 10 mins away from the Kilauea National Park. We loved this beautiful oasis! Thank you, Elaine & Carter!

Fern Cottage was absolutely lovely. Everything was as advertised and the hosts were very sweet and helpful!

We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! The hosts met us and were super nice. We really enjoyed chatting with them. The studio is spotless, beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need - even slippers. We loved hearing the frogs at night, and the drive to Volcanoes National Park was only about 10 minutes. We would definitely stay there again (or move in permanently ;) ).

We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! It was very clean, stocked with everything you might need, and in a perfect location for accessing Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. The hosts were helpful, kind, and we enjoyed getting to meet them. We loved the lush setting and drinking coffee on the lanai in the mornings surrounded by beautiful plant life. We also appreciated having the heater since it got chilly at night! The cottage is located a few minutes driving distance from Volcano Village, where there are few shops and restaurants, but be warned that they seemed to have kind of random hours/closures and the grocery selection was small and very expensive, so if you stay for a while you're better off getting groceries in a bigger town before you head to Volcano! We'd definitely return to this great home!
