There was no parking at all for 2 nights we stayed. Every hotel should have exact amount of parking space based on number of units in the building. We had to park our car both times on the street. The first night we were advised by security which options we had. After parking on the street closer to the hotel, we ended up getting a parking ticket which I now have to pay. The hotel mgmt should pay this violation.

The property is close to the ball park which was our reason for visiting Sacramento before continuing on to Napa. The building appears to be newer with clean areas and a nice little gym. My husband was happy they have a peloton bike onsite.

All was great at check-in. Just two issues: first, if you are going to charge for parking, you should let us know in advance, not at check-in. Also, our sink did not drain well. It needs work. All else is great.

The hotel was clean staff with friendly until we needed real assistance The toilet did not work in the morning at 630am, staff gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves. We had to request a new room which was next to the laundry being done at midnight shaking the walls. Lastly the elevator broke on the way out and we had to use the stairs. The couch bed had no sheets, no pillow in one room, and only a pillow in the other. I will not stay there again.

Good location not too far from downtown. The hotel itself seems pretty new and is in great condition. Breakfast has great options. Pool isn't heated so dont plan on enjoying it if the weather isnt warm enough.

There display for the thermostat was broken so I couldn't adjust the temperature, I told the person in the front desk and he gave me another room. When I went to bed, there were long hairs on the sheets on the bottom and middle of the bed, not even on the pillow looks like some else had slept there before me and the sheets were changed. The next day when I took a shower there was hair in the shower. It doesn't look like it was cleaned either. Not sure if the bedroom was never cleaned after the previous guest. Also the carpet in the room was dirty and there was a huge trash bag by the elevator for seceral hours.

When I checked in I went to my room and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. It had dirty rags on top of the shampoo and body soap bottles. I called to let them know and they said they would send someone to clean bathroom. Then when we got back later that night the bathroom was still the same. It was gross.

“The room itself appeared clean, but unfortunately housekeeping had missed old food and trash left by the previous guest. We found it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink and in another cabinet near the closet. Since we checked in and quickly left for a concert, we didn’t notice it right away. Unfortunately, the quality and cleanliness of my experience did not align with the standards I have come to expect from Hilton properties. Upon entering my room, I was startled to find a live cockroach and another dead one beneath the bathroom sink. Additionally, I noticed that the sheets were stained, and the pillows were visibly dirty. As a result, I had to request extra sheets and pillows, which took over an hour to receive. I will not be back to this hotel next time I’m in West Sac.

The property was clean and in a great area. When checking the front desk staff was friendly. We had to fix the toilet paper holder as it was broken off the cabinet and just lying there. The shower floor was super slick when I got in, be careful. When we got back to the room later that evening, and went to get the sofa sleeper ready for our kids there was no linens. We had to call the front desk and request them. When making the reservation made sure I stated we had children staying with us. They wouldn’t bring them to the room so we had to get them from the front desk. Blanket had 2 huge stains and were horrible quality. Continental breakfast was OK. For the price it was just ok, paid for the location.

Generally, the stay was fine. The room above was extremely noisy. Stomping and dropping objects, which interfered with our sleep. Reported it to the front desk, who said that he checked on the guest above us. $16.50/day for parking at this level of hotel in this type of area is way too much.

We were disappointed with the lack of staff available to assist with check in. Also, they offer coffee in the lobby which is awesome. Sadly the carafes were empty and the front desk gal just stared blankly at me when I ask for more.

The staff was very helpful. Paul helped get my luggage and put it in my room for me because I was having difficulty with my back. The morning staff was pleasant and made sure all breakfast and coffee items were fresh and available. More than the regular continental breakfast.

We were in town for an A’s game, and it was an easy walk to the park. It was also an easy drive to old town. Jay and Alex at the front desk were great. They were friendly and gave us good advice for a local restaurant (Carol’s). We’ll definitely stay here again if we come to West Sacramento or Old Town.

The front desk staff were SO amazing! Paris, Sandy, Paul, and Aaron were all very helpful and friendly. Alex, Raquel, and Liana were also great! We had an accessible room and it was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the waffles for breakfast. The hotel was a short walk to the A's ballpark.

Don't remember who was at the desk Thursday evening when we checked in, but he was fantastic. He made us feel welcome and valued and sincerely wanted to help us have a great experience in and out of the hotel. High marks.

Though a 'Hilton' property, the check-in staff was dangerously inept. The initial first three calls to confirm that we'd be arriving late should have been a warning. 'Paris' could not find our booking despite being read the confirmation email, and after much searching said that we were already in house...which we were not. When we arrived she sent us to a room that already had guests staying it, and when we went down to change rooms, she did not believe us, and took a long period of time to finally get us another room without sheets for the pull-out bed that we needed another trip to her to get sheets. In the morning, the manager gave the lame excuse that as we booked through a 'third party (Hotels.com)' there was nothing he could do. Sameful customer service and potentially dangerous double booking rooms...do not stay here!

The parking was so full we have to park I front of hotel overnight. Manager was never told to call me at all never received a call. During the Evers that we had schedule we would come back only to sleep but always arrived and nothing was completed to my room.

Easy to find and get to. Parking was ok. Check in was a mess. Says it starts at 3, but they had no rooms available. So we all started milling about. Somehow around 3:45 they started checking people in, but I never heard anyone announce this. They had 2 PCs to check people in, but only one person working them. I'm guessing they are too short staffed as the delay was blamed on housekeeping not turning over the rooms fast enough. Would also explain why only 1 person was checking us in. The room itself is great. Has the kitchenette area and ours had the one bed. It's your standard home2suites room. We had a bit of issue with the thermostat and the bathroom door is a barn style with a large gap. So make sure whoever you go with is on very friendly terms with you. Overall it was a good stay. I could stay here again though I'd probably look around a bit too see what else is available as this H2S seems a bit off

Easy to find and get to. Parking was ok. Check in was a mess. Says it starts at 3, but they had no rooms available. So we all started milling about. Somehow around 3:45 they started checking people in, but I never heard anyone announce this. They had 2 PCs to check people in, but only one person working them. I'm guessing they are too short staffed as the delay was blamed on housekeeping not turning over the rooms fast enough. Would also explain why only 1 person was checking us in. I am a runner. This property is in an area that has lots of homeless individuals, including in the immediate neighborhood, and along the riverwalk area. I also got charged for parking when I arrived - was I supposed to walk there?

New-ish, nicely designed property with courteous staff. In the room, the floor of the kitchen area had lots of crumbs at the base of the dishwasher and cabinets, and the desk and various other surfaces appeared to not have been wiped cleaned of dust and crumbs for some time. Similarly, in the bath, the inside of the shower door needed a good scrubbing. Silverware was a few random, mismatched pieces but I imagine more would be provided upon on request. Upon reporting all this to the front desk staff, I was respectfully told my concerns would be passed on to housekeeping. Breakfast offerings had potential but a lack of staffing at the height meant empty bread trays, waffle and yogurt dispensers, oatmeal pot, etc., and guests needed to rummage through below-counter cabinets for silverware and juice glasses as displays were empty. A clean table or counter to sit at was difficult to locate, as it appears cleaning up isn’t possible until end of service hours.

The whole time we were there we never got breakfast. We went about 10 minutes after breakfast opened and there was nothing. Parking was limited too. Staff was fine and rooms were good.

This Home2 by Hilton hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Sutter Health Ballpark in West Sacramento, which is why we chose to stay there. The property was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. The only negative surprise was having to pay $16.50 per night to park our car in what seemed to be an unsecured parking lot. That added fee should be made more prominent on the hotel’s listing. We had a great stay, enjoyed two MLB baseball games and would definitely return again.

The room definitely needs a deep clean or renovations. The top bed spread had stains and a burn mark. It's a non smoking room but the burn mark was a small hole the size of a cigarette. I took pictures, told the front desk and was told a manager would reach out. It's been almost a week. The breakfast was decent. The waffle mix was the best part. There was no plasticware, only metal. Not a preference I would have chosen. The floor and walls were dingy. I don't walk barefoot in ANY hotel, and definitely wasn't risking h3p@titis of any sort in one of those rooms. Also, parking was through a third-party, that's different from any property I have ever stayed at. I would not stay at that property, or possibly any Home2Suites after that experience.
