Hotel was good, was just disappointed with parking situation. I was told parking was on a first in-first served basis so arrived right on 3pm check-in time, only to be told no parks available. They could not give me advice on any alternative parking options, just told me to park on the street. After driving 5 hours and not knowing Wellington this was quite stressful. I went and checked several times and there were parks available. Parking should be able to be booked in advance to alleviate this stress.

Other hotels in better, more central location for price. Parking and access are TERRIBLE-they operate a stacker system ( which isnt advertised) and its annoying having to wait to get your car out. Its also an extra $35 per night, so you have to pay extra for this inconvenience.I only booked this place because they had parking, but it was really disappointing Reception staff the only positive about this place, dreary view, dreary area, dirty mold spits in some parts. Absolutely would not recommmend

An average hotel. The room rate was fair for what it provided. I would stay here again. No food except vending machines. Gym was weak with one treadmill and some free weight dumbells. No daily cleaning, only when requested. The staff was super good about extra clean towels and coffee. It was about 15 minutes walk to the harbor and market areas. It was a 5 minutes walk to the main restaurant street. Staff was nice when there. No staff from 7pm to 7am. Check out is an early 10am. When I asked about a later 12 noon, they wanted to charge me.

The Hotel is nice and close to the city. Parking is a mess. They just have parking lots für small or medium cars. Because of weight restrictions we weren’t allowed to park our Mitsubishi Outlander there and had to park outside for a tremendous price. We had appreciated if we could park in the lower deck so the car could not go descend.

Good location downtown, hotel is on a busy street. Room was nice, parking was a challenge, your best bet is to go to the garage around the corner. Bring earplugs if road noise and sirens disturb your sleep.

Very disappointing. You have to stay more than 3 days in order to get room service. We had to wait all day for fresh towels. Only 2 towels per suite. No where to put luggage. Skimpy living room furniture. Only two uncomfortable chairs and a small table. Very noisy+++.

We had a one bedroom apartment for a 2 night stay and it was very spacious and clean. Large comfortable bed and ideal to have dryer and washing machine available too. Parking was additional but reasonably priced and we could come and go as often as we wanted (even gave us a more spacious park to accommodate our large vehicle). Check in was easy and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Checked in and all the facilities, cups and cutlery were dirty. Needed to wash everything. Smear marks, coffee stains, cutlery had remains of food on. No blinds or privacy voile on windows so curtains had to stay shut the entire time and lights on. Very upset with this stay.

Great hotel in the CBD close to St James theatre. Clean, modern with added benefit of kitchen and laundry if needed. Only recommendation I would make is a 2nd lounge chair for TV watching.

The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Washing machine, dryer, kitchen. Walkable distance to the seaside Te Papa museum and Cuba Street. Only flaw is that somehow the air conditioner in my room switches off every 2 hours. I'm not sure if it's centrally controlled or what because there's no way I could reset any timer.

Likes: small but well supplied kitchen, bed & pillows comfy, WASHER AND DRYER IN ROOM, proximity to Cuba St., large New World grocery store, lots of hot water in shower. Hunter at the front desk was phenomenal! Dis-likes: Room was on 2nd floor above busy Vivian St., right on the main thoroughfare to the hospital; noisy. Also did not like the TV on the wall in the living room area instead of the wall in the bed alcove. There was only one comfortable chair to watch TV in a room for two people.

I loved the amount of space, the convenience and ease of getting in and out and also the fact that it had a small kitchen and a washing machine and dryer in the room. This enabled me to return home with my clothes washed.

Great modern spacious accommodation. Stayed in a king studio unit with city view. Bed and linen excellent and great to have kitchenette facilities too to self cater. Only negative was that the TV was not in sight of the bed so was not able to relax after a long day in bed watching TV. Also there was only 1 chair (no couch) to sit on so hubby had to sit on one of the dining chairs. Other than that service and stay was excellent Great location central to main eating hub of Wellington.

The staff at the Ramada are some of the most easy-going, helpful, and considerate people I have ever met in hospitality their names were (Tinō and hunter). When asked for advice or suggestions on where to eat or what to do while in Wellington they were more than happy to give great recommendations to places we never would’ve checked out otherwise but ended up loving. They always went out of their way to greet us, ask us about what we were up to and if we needed anything. There isn’t a doubt my partner and I will be back there when staying in Wellington. We are very appreciative for the time spent making our stay free flowing and comfortable. Thankyou. Matthew and Emily :)

Lovely stay at the Ramada. They didn’t have their usual parking options which would have been nice to know in advance as is a key feature of this hotel, but the staff were friendly and helpful with alternatives. The rooms are clean, spacious, warm and have everything you need. Would highly recommend as great location and wonderful stay

Check in took over 30 minutes and there was only 2 checkins before us. Air conditioner filters smelled musty and needed to be changed/clean. Nice washer/dryer, with laundry soap provided, in the unit. Conveniently located close to Cuba Street restaurants but the area was surrounded by graffiti tagged buildings. Seems like the area has really gone degraded. No convenient onsite parking but lots of street parking and a next-door low-cost lot.

Good rooms. Two desk clerks could npt recommend places to eat. I asked for a second pillow my first night. No reult, I asked the next morning, still no result by late adternoon. Finally a pillow showed up while at dinner. Everything else was fine.

We had an excellent experience during our stay. The staff were courteous and accommodating. Our requests during reservation were met. Tino answered our questions about the check-in process after 7pm, when the receptionist closed, in case our flight was delayed. Hunter was very helpful and responsive whenever we needed amenities to be replenished, like coffee or laundry detergent. Our stay at his location made our vacation much easier and memorable. Thank you Ramada Inn Wellington!!!

Arrived 9.15 pm no doors open no reception pushing buzzes after 10 mins finally someone answered advised need walk 100 metres up get key out of box got code for box . This should me emailed process what will happen if arrive later checkin . Then no process was frantic thinking where will I stay seen knowone answering for 10 mins

I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Wellington. It is close to Cuba Street where there are numerous restaurants for various food choices. The hotel Does not have “in house” restaurant or bar services which I did not realize prior to travel but that was my fault in not checking it out. Again the close proximity to Cuba Street eliminated that as a concern. The hotel staff were fantastic and very helpful. The room I had was like a small one room apartment with a small kitchenette and the bathroom also had a washer and dryer. Tea, instant coffee and hot chocolate were provided along with mugs and utensils. While I generally prefer hotels with in house restaurant and bar services, I would stay here again

I booked here as I was going to the marvel exhibition at Takina. An easy 10 minute walk away and also convenient for Te Papa and the waterfront. I was arriving after hours and the promised email and phone call with check-in details were much later arriving than I expected so I had already phoned the hotel. Check in turned out to be easy but, in common with a lot of hotels these days, the room compendium was on a QR code, no good to me as I don't have a smartphone, so I had to wait for the morning to collect a printed one. Staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly though and I have booked to stay again for the Dr Who exhibition at Takina in June. No restaurant but a cold breakfast can be ordered the day before and there are cafes nearby - although gluten free options in most are limited.

A bargain hotel close to a main shopping and restaurant area downtown. Lots of street life but not by the hotel itself, which is quiet. It doesn’t have food service, but you can find everything within a short walk. Convenient for bus excursions to pick you up from near hotel. Many attractions you can walk to. It has parking.

The Ramada is located within walking distance of a number of famous eateries, and, if you are willing to stretch it a bit, within walking distance of the botanical gardens as well as the cable car. The suites are very big, with a sitting room and bed room, and has a well laid out bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, a place that I'd recommend without any hesitation

Parking is an issue but a surface car park next door worked out well. It’s more of an aparthotel and the unit was well equipped, including a washer and dryer. No bar and no reception after 7pm. Lots of shops nearby.
