First of all, ten stars for the reception staff who worked hard to check me in early, and didn't make me wait until 2pm like other hotels. Staff at reception, in the rstaurant, and at the gym area are all super friendly and helpful. Great gym, swimming pool, and sauna.

Overall its good but its the small stuff like you have to have a swimming cap before entering the pool and they will charge you 150tl for a 20 tl cap .its like the pool is free but not really .they also could have more food options at breakfast.

The customer service was excellent! The staff (especially in the reception) were super nice, friendly, caring and helpful. Great breakfast and hotel facilities like pool and spa. The hotel location is good, there are bus and tram stops nearby.

This district in Merter is surrounded by garments shops and wholesalers. Hotel has knowledgeable reception staff, a large selection of turkish and international foods for breakfast including live omlette station. Rooms are nice, clean and modern with a fairly firm mattress. TV channels were extensive and multi-lingual. Hotel is located a short walk to the station and the tram. The tram goes direct to the centre but gets very busy. The spa is gender separated and staff are pushy to get a massage. Pool is nice but quite cold. Short taxi ride to Kale outlet, mall of istanbul or Venice designer outlet for shopping. The hotel has a trendy coffee shop which is open late and has good quality snacks and beverages.

I want to give the staff at Ibis Merter 6 out of 5...that good. A big thankyou especially to Serkan the concierge who drove myself & a disabled family member + wheelchair in his own car when there was a taxi problem. If you book here, give him a hug from us! So the hotel is a modern Ibis, the room was a good size, clean and the bathroom/shower excellent. Fridge & hot drink facilities in room, which were well used. Breakfast buffet was good with an egg chef cooking to order. If you need non-cows milk or gluten free bread, you will need to bring these though. The hotel gym is an excellent size & very well equiped, the indoor pool is good and the spa facilities look excellent (we just used the superb changing room). The hotel itself is downtown Istanbul, outside of the tourist area. So if you want to be away from the busy centre, this is a plus. Moving around was easy on the metro/underground; theres a station about 8 minutes walk down a hill. The metro is fully accessible, if you need that. Didnt use the in house restaurant, but there is a great Turkish restaurant just opposite the front door. Alcohol drinkers, note the hotel and area are dry, you would need to go to the centre for that.

Ich war geschäftlich und für einen Urlaub in Istanbul. Die Lage ist leider nicht so schön. Metro aber innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Ein Taxi ist aber Pflicht um schnell und unkompliziert in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider haben essentielle Dinge wie zb. Wattestäbchen oder aber auch ein Haarnetz gefehlt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und hatte einiges zu bieten. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

The rooms were clean, we booked two rooms and the staff accommodated us by providing connected rooms. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Finally the staff were extremely helpful, especially the staff at the front service desk. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

This is our second time staying at the hotel, very conveniently located next to the Merter wholesale district. There are some good restaurants around in the neighborhood and about a $10-$15 taxi to the tourist areas of Istanbul. Property is very nice with a well stocked breakfast buffet and a nearly new gym. The staff is very friendly and took care of our needs. I feel that it should be rated as a 4 star instead of a 5 due to some of the items lacking in the rooms. Also the walls between the rooms are thin and not well sound insulated. We will return as the price is very good for what you do receive.

The rooms were clean, we booked two rooms and the staff accommodated us by providing connected rooms. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Finally the staff were extremely helpful, especially the staff at the front service desk. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

It was a very bad experience for a 5-star hotel! Building was new, so it seemed clean! But the service was awful! Not even a simple request have done by the room service and receptions! They even didn’t understand English! I asked for a plastic bag and they sent slippers! In each room there were just 2 paper cups, so if you had a coffee you need to call the room service again for a glass or cup! They asked me what I want, but all the time they sent something wrong! I asked for a glass cup they sent a paper cup after 30 min! Asked for Ice they forgot to send after 2 times calling them! The rooms and corridors smell smoke all the time, we couldn’t sleep because of the smell!!! Was the worst experinec ever!!!

Hotel has knowledgeable reception staff, a large selection of turkish and international foods for breakfast including live omlette station. Rooms are nice, clean and modern with a fairly firm mattress. TV channels were extensive and multi-lingual. Hotel is located a short walk to the station and the tram. The tram goes direct to the centre but gets very busy. The spa is gender separated and staff are pushy to get a massage. Pool is nice but quite cold. Short taxi ride to Kale outlet, mall of istanbul or Venice designer outlet for shopping. The hotel has a trendy coffee shop which is open late and has good quality snacks and beverages.

I want to give the staff at Ibis Merter 6 out of 5...that good. A big thankyou especially to Serkan the concierge who drove myself & a disabled family member + wheelchair in his own car when there was a taxi problem. If you book here, give him a hug from us! So the hotel is a modern Ibis, the room was a good size, clean and the bathroom/shower excellent. Fridge & hot drink facilities in room, which were well used. Breakfast buffet was good with an egg chef cooking to order. If you need non-cows milk or gluten free bread, you will need to bring these though. The hotel gym is an excellent size & very well equiped, the indoor pool is good and the spa facilities look excellent (we just used the superb changing room). The hotel itself is downtown Istanbul, outside of the tourist area. So if you want to be away from the busy centre, this is a plus. Moving around was easy on the metro/underground; theres a station about 8 minutes walk down a hill. The metro is fully accessible, if you need that. Didnt use the in house restaurant, but there is a great Turkish restaurant just opposite the front door. Alcohol drinkers, note the hotel and area are dry, you would need to go to the centre for that.

Die Anbindung mit Tram und Bus ist grundsätzlich vorhanden, allerdings sind die Verkehrsmittel sehr stark ausgelastet und die Fahrzeit in die Innenstadt beträgt ca. 45 Minuten. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, lediglich im Schrankregal war etwas Staub zu finden. Sehr positiv: Die Minibar wird täglich mit zwei Flaschen Wasser sowie Kaffee- und Teebeuteln aufgefüllt. Frühstück: Die Auswahl ist groß, allerdings nicht ganz so abwechslungsreich wie erwartet. Sucuk war nicht jeden Tag verfügbar, Spiegeleier gab es gar nicht, nur Omelett. Die Obst-Auswahl war klein, aber insgesamt ausreichend. Ich war geschäftlich und für einen Urlaub in Istanbul. Die Lage ist leider nicht so schön. Metro aber innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Ein Taxi ist aber Pflicht um schnell und unkompliziert in die Innenstadt zu kommen. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider haben essentielle Dinge wie zb. Wattestäbchen oder aber auch ein Haarnetz gefehlt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und hatte einiges zu bieten. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Overall, the experience was good. Location is a bit off if your main purpose of the trip is to see downtown Istanbul. However, there is a tram station nearby, but almost always crazily overcrowded and takes quite some time to reach downtown. A better option is to take the metro, faster and less crowded, but more walking distance from the hotel. A special thanks to Esmanur and Hatip for their kindness and great service. Breakfast and Wi-Fi good as well.

This is our second time staying at the hotel, very conveniently located next to the Merter wholesale district. There are some good restaurants around in the neighborhood and about a $10-$15 taxi to the tourist areas of Istanbul. Property is very nice with a well stocked breakfast buffet and a nearly new gym. The staff is very friendly and took care of our needs. I feel that it should be rated as a 4 star instead of a 5 due to some of the items lacking in the rooms. Also the walls between the rooms are thin and not well sound insulated. We will return as the price is very good for what you do receive.

Merhabalar, ben rezervasyonu mobilden yaptım çıkış saati 14:00 olarak yazıyordu ama saat 11:50 de odamızı arayıp çıkış yapmamız gerektiğini söylediler. Otopark sorunu var gündüz araç için park sorunu yaşanıyor. Kahvaltıda çeşit oldukça iyi ve doyurucu. Konum olarak merkezî bir yerde.

Frühstück war immer gleich. Ein Wellnessbereich in dem die Aasgeier überall lauern um dir teure Massagen anzubieten. Einfach ausgestattetes Hotel, nachts laute Gäste die ab und an die Türen zuknallen lassen. Personal war freundlich.

Lo peor nadie ablaba español..lo peor la comida orrible muy mala..los 7 días toallas y sábanas muy limpias con muy buen olor...hotel limpio poco lujoso normalito mediocre par un 5 estrellas yo le daría un 3 por la limpieza de las toallas y sábanas almuadas...el trato de recepcionistas correcto los q te ayudaban con el coche muy serviciales y amables el gerente de buffet amables..en general mi experiencia muy orrible reserve me pensaba q iba a corresponder con los hoteles en España de 5 estrellas muy buena comida y lujosos limpios en todo ....el trato muy co4ecto no volvería.....
