Rockwell Ridge | Chestnut Suite with Lux Bathroom

Great location

The room was OK, but not as comfortable as we expected for the price. Nice bathroom -- tiles, tub, sink -- but with no place to hang towels or put toiletries in the shower. The living space felt undercooked -- sofa (with no side table or reading light) facing a blank wall lined with a few objects as if in a thrift store, not a cozy, luxurious accommodation. The uncomfortable mattress and lumpy pillows were disappointing. We expected more.

From the moment you walk in the suite makes you smile. The bathroom is amazing with a big bath tub. I really enjoyed the fire pit, reading by the creek . The whole property is amazing , peaceful and quiet which is what I was looking for . You can hike for a bit on the property as well. Veritas winery is right around the corner for more great views and delicious wine . The property is close enough to so many other wineries and breweries, the blue ridge parkway and Skyline drive. The host was lovely as well, quick to answer every question. Would Definetely go back :)

Overall amazing!

We were so pleased with this place. Tucked away in the mountains. Such peace and quiet. The bathroom with the claw foot tub was my favorite for sure. Definitely would stay there again.
