The service at the Taj is exemplary. I would recommend this place to everyone, they really go out of their way to make you feel special. The pool is amazing, the breakfast is wonderful and most of all the staff at the hotel are the best. The customer service in this place always goes above expectations. Extremely pleased with my stay here.

I had an incredible experience at Taj City Centre New Town. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish and modern design, paired with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I’ve stayed at the previous hotel company, Swissotel and I loved it. I saw some negative reviews with Taj, but I wanted to try the new Taj new town Hotel. I was not disappointed. From beginning to end every staff treated me and my friend warmly, and were very helpful. From check-in, to the room, to the house keeping, to the delicious breakfast buffet, and outdoors security were amazing. No negatives. Thank you!

My stay at the hotel was fabulous. The hotel was in an excellent condition with all the latest amenities. The staff was superb .. a big shoutout to Bikash, Chetna and Rupsha and the entire staff. Would love to stay here again

The staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. No faults in any way, there. The hotel though is pretty dated. The furniture and fittings are a bit scuffed up and the bedding felt kind of clammy. The main issue was that the flowery and dank fragrance being pumped into the foyer was overwhelming. It was actually hard to take a deep breath and anyone sensitive to perfume would struggle with this. The staff tried and I feel bad for criticizing this, but it is an easy fix. The hotel is reasonably close to the airport. About a 7 minute Uber ride so that is helpful if you are just passing through.

I had stayed when it was the Swise hotel and loved that it had an access to the mall. That is now gone. So you must walk outside down their driveway and around the corner it's not a big deal but not as convenient. The biggest thing was the overwhelming overpowering smell/sent that hits you the minute you walk in the door I could barely breathe in the lobby. We have a saying in the US a little bit goes a long way. And too much of a good thing is not always good. I had a headache after checking in. Other than that it was great.

The room that was suggested on the website as a family room for 2 adults and 2 children was not suitable. It was misleading and shouldn’t be offered to more than 3 people at the maximum. We ended up paying for another twin room for the kids resulting in much higher costs. Also the twin room smelled of strong smoke even though it was a non smoking floor. Raised complaint with the hotel who came and confirmed they could smell the same. They offered to put air freshener which wasn’t an option as it was middle of the night when the kids were asleep that we noticed the smell. They put a dehumidifier which helped a little

Our stay was wonderful. From the welcome drinks on arrival and handmade necklaces to our departure and complimentary driver to te airport. The staff are so polite, friendly, professional and attentive. The room was ideal, clean, full facilities and the hotel had wonderful food options.

It is very sorry to informed you that we are stay total 5 nights,it is very sorry to inform that,no amenities are available at room,no brush, no towel,no shoes shine,Tv remotes not working, iron table and iron boxes not available,as after inform they send to our room after 1 hrs,and moreover it is very sorry to informed that lots of distrub happen while sleeping due the groups bookings of marriage done at same hotel,we also under the concern of married person,this is toally failure hotel management, if you are bookings the group bookings than it is management duty to shifted to another room without any delayed, we are inform to reception also no result come,Entire nights shadi person calm..

this was our standard Kolkata airport layover hotel when it was Swissotel. Now it will be our standard layover hotel as a Taj. It's spruced up and looking good. Staff didn't seem to be quite as "warm" as the old Swissotel staff, but they did their jobs. IT guy Vikrant was a delight and patient with us old folks. Food was good. Don't like steps up and down into the shower stall, seems like a real fall hazard.

The hotel is very well located near the airport and adjacent to a lovely shopping centre. The rooms are spacious and modern and well maintained. Best of all is the dining facilities with excellent chefs who go out of their way to cater to your needs.

My stay was good & safe. Food in room dining was great ordered couple of times. But lobby/front desk so many staff walking around but you’re waiting to get things done like had to wait for my luggage after checkout & I had to leave for airport but staffs are very polite & felt safe throughout. I will come back for sure & will recommend my family abroad.

The service at the Taj is exemplary. I would recommend this place to everyone, they really go out of their way to make you feel special. I was taken care during all my stay and definitively the level of service and comfort are excellent. It is conveniently located near the airport so it is easy to reach upon arrival in CCU. I had the chance to ask for some support during my stay and the customer service was very prompt and effective.

The staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. No faults in any way, there. The hotel though is pretty dated. The furniture and fittings are a bit scuffed up and the bedding felt kind of clammy. The main issue was that the flowery and dank fragrance being pumped into the foyer was overwhelming. It was actually hard to take a deep breath and anyone sensitive to perfume would struggle with this. The staff tried and I feel bad for criticizing this, but it is an easy fix. The hotel is reasonably close to the airport. About a 7 minute Uber ride so that is helpful if you are just passing through.

This was my second stay at this property, and once again, it was an amazing experience! 👏 Just one piece of constructive feedback: while enjoying the lovely breakfast, I occasionally noticed that some items on the counters needed refilling and were left empty for a while. That said, the staff and overall service were excellent, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, promptly providing any services we required. We enjoyed having breakfast there every morning. Unfortunately, the wooden floor in our room was very noisy, which disrupted our sleep. Apart from this issue, we had an excellent stay at the hotel.

Hotel was nice and clean and the room was nice. Restaurant staff were excellent especially one lady but I cant recall her name. She arranged some nice vegan items as the buffet didnt have much choice. Thank you to you all.

Our experience at the Taj was excellent. The property is well maintained, and the rooms were spacious and well-lit. There was a minor issue with housekeeping occasionally missing towel sets, but it was easily resolved with a single phone call. We were particularly impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Udham Bose and Prasanto from the kitchen deserve special mention for their exceptional service and attentiveness.
