Classic Maine Beach Cottage, Steps to Pine Point !

My wife and I had been hoping to get in a trip to Maine before the end of the season and this cottage was just what we needed. Pine Point is one of our favorite areas of Maine and we've been curious about these little cottages for years. It was fun to finally stay in one and we really enjoyed the bright but cozy interior. The location is great with easy access to the beach and all of Pine Point's restaurants. The cottage is also off the street, which helps with road noise.

This is a cute cottage, well appointed, and just as shown in the photos. It is a short walk to the beach, so very convenient. You have very little space to store your clothes, (the closet is full of excess bedding, and cleaning equipment/product) so it is a bit like living out of a suitcase. And if you don't like sleeping on foam pillows, you should plan to bring your own pillows. Overall, a very relaxing place to be, quiet, and parking is adequate.

They told us there wouldn’t be hot water so we canceled. Have yet to see a refund. That’s really low rent and bad for business. My default on a bad location is to say nothing. But, you have to be an above board operator. No stay due to your problem and no refund? That’s low. You should avoid these folks like the plague.

This is an adorable tiny cottage that makes a perfect getaway for 2 people. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is small but very well outfitted with nice appliances. The owners are thoughtful and responsive. We enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings. Would love to come back!

We just LOVE our girls week cottage as evidenced by our 3rd year in a row coming back. The vottage is perfect, so well equipped, clean and charming. My two daughters and I treat ourselves to a week here each summer. We refuse to leave Maine in the summer but this gets us out of our routine and right on the beach. We LOVE it here. We will be going back for years to come. We love traditions and this is one of our favorites!!!
