I searched for them by my need for a pool. I was traveling with a young autistic person who needed a pool for sensory reasons. I selected this hotel because it stated they had a pool. When i arrived at the hotel, i asked about the pool, and was told it is closed at the end of the summer season (in late August), even though the site was found by searching for a hotel that offers a Pool. I had the the 'Fun' task of breaking the that we wouldnt be swimming that night even though they advertised that they had one available to use

Attempted to check in early, was told to come back in 1hr. I came back in an hour then ended up standing at the check in desk for another 25 minutes until someone showed up. I even tried calling and could hear the phone ringing and no one came to answer. Finally checked in. Took the elevator up and the first thing I noticed was the elevator was dirty and had graffiti in it. Dropped our bags off then came back 5 hours later hoping to watch TV or use the pool. The pool, while advertised as olympic sized, was not and closed. I then turned on the TV and all channels had a green screen. I then looked for a phone to call the front desk only to realize, there is no phone?! Call from my cell and I'm told that they are having a problem with their service. Then I log into the wifi. Now I have nothing against religion, but the wifi password was "godisgood". While that may represent some guests views, it is not inclusive to others and forces a person who may not believe to use a term that doesn't represent their feelings. This hotel was basically a place to sleep with a roof over your head. To add, I'm not one to complain, but this was much more than a normal travel annoyance.

Booked a King non smoking a week ago Sold out when we arrived , they gave us a double instead, was pushing for the suite… Gym and pool under construction, but nice facilities next door, free for guests, accommodating. Quiet rooms on third floor, air conditioning , heating unit , is whisper quiet. Wife says the third floor hallways, remind her of the movie, The Shining lol.

There was no TV avaliable. The cable was out for the whole building for the entire 3 days. The pool is across the street and an employee has to accompany you over there. It's not heated and they don't allow anyone under 18. One lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The other was rude. The breakfast was just OK. They did have eggs and sausage both days. Only one choice of cereal and white bread. One thing that was unsafe is there are 4 doors open to the motel; you don't need a key to get in building.

Not as advertised. Office staff had their children playing in the lobby. Rooms were half clean, pool was half empty and full of leaves. No tv channels worked, no onsite bar or restaurant as advertised. Couldn't locate a roll away bed. No fresh sheets. Just a bad experience from start to finish. Glad I left after 1 night

Would not recommend, first room we were given there were no fitted sheets on bed and stains covering the mattress and dried vomit on the bottom of the other bed!! Requested another room and the room we were given was dirt as well, had not been cleaned, dirty towels in the room and beds were not made. Finally received a room on the 3rd floor as the worker stated she didn’t want to give us another room on the 1st floor because they were all a little nasty.

The hotel room was extremely filthy to the point you didn’t want to set anything down or take your shoes off other than immediately before getting into bed. Also, the toilet wouldn’t stop running and there was only decaf coffee for the machine in the room. The more and more I stay at Wyndham hotels, the less and less I’m satisfied with my experience (coming from someone who spends 30 nights in hotels each year). Won’t be back / recommend this one. If we hadn’t booked / prepaid multiple nights, we would’ve left.

Room was filthy, liquids clearly spilled on walls. Carpet dirty and stained and ripped. Shower pipe to the show head broken and spraying everywhere. Bed frame broken. No toiletries in room, housekeeping did not clean or take out trash between nights. Elevator floor filthy. Website not updated with accurate room pictures or stating pool and fitness center closed at this time.

The room was filthy. There was garbage in the closet with nasty things like a dirty diaper and another unmentionable. Dirty towels hanging in the closet. Garbage inside the kitchenette cabinet. One cabinet smelled horrible. The smell of cheap air freshener was overwhelming. Made me worry about what I couldn’t see. Didn’t sleep well because I was so disgusted. Had to find somewhere else to stay.

We got a room at this property and it was obvious the floors weren’t cleaned and there was garbage in the room. We asked for a new room and the second room did not appear to have been cleaned at all. We got moved to a third room and it was still not clean, the floors and surfaces were dirty, so we asked if we could get a refund. We were told that we couldn’t get a refund because we booked through Expedia. When we submit a complaint to Expedia they requested a refund from the hotel, but the hotel says they couldn’t provide a refund.

The place was extremely dirty. Doesn’t look like they have cleaned that place in years…. Lobby area or the rooms. Bathroom was flooded. Floors were wet Everything smelled moldy. Floors weren’t swept in either of our rooms. Honestly place was filthy. Was devastated i had to stay here for the night.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The room in the pictures has been remodeled - most of the rooms have NOT. We were given one that was not. The room smelled awful, had a dirty washcloth in the shower, had a bedside lamp that would only turn off by unscrewing the lightbulb, and was only partially vacuumed. Absolutely do not recommend.

The property is old and needs an upgrade. Wifi was not working while we were there. It's a good thing we only booked a night. We like the 2nd sink outside and the large countertop. Breakfast was great. The bacon was delicious!

I usually don’t care about how old or worn a hotel is as long as it’s clean and has a decent bed. But this place was worn down on another level. The carpets were heavily stained, base boards were missing, walls were dirty, and the air smelled of mildew. There’s a difference between worn and clean but this place was worn and also unclean unfortunately.

So it’s an older hotel and definitely shows signs of wear and tear. The staff was great! They were the shining stars. My tv wasn’t in the correct source and the remote didn’t have the corresponding button so they came right up and fixed it. (With a toggle on the tv.) After she left I went to brush my teeth and oooooh. There were shavings from beards and mustaches in both sinks. It was late and I really didn’t want to deal with changing rooms so I tried to rinse it out but it backed up and into the other sink. Yuck. I brushed in the shower. The room was pretty tired and dark, the couch old, but the room itself was hug. The bed was really clean and comfortable so I thought I’d get some sleep and it would be fine for one night. I almost dozed off when the first of three (or was it four) trains went by. The windows may be original and do nothing to dampen the sound. I just left the tv on and got up early to split. The breakfast bar is great and the other patrons seemed very nice. But I’ll stay somewhere else next time, even though it’s a really good value.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There were needs for upgrades to the tub, surround and carpeting as they were showing their years. They did offer a great hot breakfast and the staff were friendly and accomodating to our needs.
The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There were needs for upgrades to the tub, surround and carpeting as they were showing their years. They did offer a great hot breakfast and the staff were friendly and accomodating to our needs.

Asked for a quiet room. We did get the top floor and end of hallway, however the noisiest end- as our room overlooked the roadway, and traffic was very loud. We would stay again however, and try to get the quiet side of the property. Very nice breakfast provided. Beds were comfy - room was spacious.

Comfortable bed. Big room. Good breakfast. Use of gym next door was great and one of the reasons I booked. Place is a little run down. My room didn't have a latch on the door so it didn't feel too secure. On the whole it was a good stay though.

We stayed here for three nights over Thanksgiving weekend. To avoid a very long review, I will list the things that were an issue: 1. The night auditor was rude to us and the clerk working. 2. We had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed. 3. There were three of us in the room, but we only had two towels, one washcloth, and one hand towel. 4. On day two, we asked for an extra blanket for the sofa bed and extra towels. When we got back to the room that evening, there was a wadded up blanket thrown on the bed and two more towels and a washcloth. 5. On day three, we asked if they would please empty the garbage as it hadn't been done since we arrived. 6. When we got back to the room that evening, the garbage was emptied, but they took away our extra towels (?). 7. The morning of day 4, my husband had to go down to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. I understand that the staff was short that weekend due to the holiday, but it was more than that. It looks like they are trying to renovate/improve the property, but are cutting corners. The recent paint job was sloppy in our room and other areas. My husband peeled blue paint tape off off walls and around fixtures that was left behind after the job was done. Positives: the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

It was Tulip Festival time! Somehow my reservation did not show up in their system. I was panicked since there were no other vacancies for what I needed. The managers and front desk staff did not have to do anything but they were very professional and calm as they worked out a solution for me and my son that was exactly what we needed! They took a situation that was not their fault and found a way to solve my problem.

Attempted to check in early, was told to come back in 1hr. I came back in an hour then ended up standing at the check in desk for another 25 minutes until someone showed up. I even tried calling and could hear the phone ringing and no one came to answer. Finally checked in. Took the elevator up and the first thing I noticed was the elevator was dirty and had graffiti in it. Dropped our bags off then came back 5 hours later hoping to watch TV or use the pool. The pool, while advertised as olympic sized, was not and closed. I then turned on the TV and all channels had a green screen. I then looked for a phone to call the front desk only to realize, there is no phone?! Call from my cell and I'm told that they are having a problem with their service. Then I log into the wifi. Now I have nothing against religion, but the wifi password was "godisgood". While that may represent some guests views, it is not inclusive to others and forces a person who may not believe to use a term that doesn't represent their feelings. This hotel was basically a place to sleep with a roof over your head. To add, I'm not one to complain, but this was much more than a normal travel annoyance.

We stayed 3 nights. Housekeeping never came in to clean, emtpy trash or anything. Even after we stopped at the dest to request trash cans be cleaned and extra soap and shampoo was needed. Desk clerk was uncaring, bordering rude when this request was made.

First, the other bad reviews are all correct, head there warning. ALSO!!! WARNING!!!! If you do decide to stay at this dump (Not sure why after all the bad reviews) make sure you are paying the correct amount. I booked through Hotels.com. The hotel canceled my booking and rebooked it through the hotel and charged me more. Then lied to me about it. I talked to Hotels.com and they said there was nothing they could do because i booked through the hotel. I told them that, that was the problem, I didn't book through the hotel, I booked through hotels.com. they said they understand but still could do nothing. So pay attention to your bill when checking in. They will just change your booking and hotels.com will do nothing about it.

The location is great. It's right off the freeway and is within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Parking is free and there were plenty of spots near the entrances. The breakfast area is a little small, but there was a good variety of breakfast foods. The mini fridge in the room was clean and did not have any funky smells. The staff was friendly during check-in. I would stay here again.

Not plush by any means but this hotel was conviently located off the I-5. Older building but nice wide hallways and very spacious room. Beds were comfortable, firm mattress. We requested a quiet room on the upper floor and we were pleased that they granted these requests (Thank You) Breakfast included was very good. We would stay here again - Oh, and the price was good too!

County civic center is in same lot. Had a Quinceanera that lasted till 1am. Music was so loud it shook the room. Staff made no effort to move us. Also they took up all the parking for the hotel, leaving us no where to safely park. Horrible experience. I know every town has a cut off for noise and it usually around 10 PM. Also, the hotel should’ve made sure parking was saved for its guest. It’s the hotels responsibility to make sure these protocols are put into place. Not the guest

The room was nice and clean. I like the location close to the 5 fwy and many good stores around it. Pubs and restaurants close by. I also enjoyed the Skagit River and the walk trail around it.

The hotel room was dirty, there was a convention center next to the hotel, you could hear very loud thumping music until 2:30 in the morning, then they loaded their truck with equipment very loud, reeving their engine on the truck loudly at 3 am. Could hear people talking loudly outside. We got no sleep all night. I will never stay here again.

Met our needs perfectly. It was a budget hotel, but was a great room for the great price. The full breakfast was awesome! All you can eat buffet of waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins, juice and coffee. Convenient location too. We'll be back. Pet friendly and only $20 extra a night.

The first room we were given was horrible, the toilet did not flush and the heater did not work. The carpet was horribly stained and it smelled like they had recently tried to clean it but the cleaning smell was so strong we could not stay in the room. Went to the front desk for assistance and they moved us to another room after they could not fix the heater. The second room was much better. It was set up and everything except one sink worked. The one sink had no water to it. The breakfast was very good one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. The cook was prompt and quick to refill things when they were emptied. The front desk was adequate but when we went to check out there had been additional charges put on my room. They had charged extra taxes and service fees. I had to explain a couple of times that the room had been paid in full through Expedia. She did take the additional charges off. All in all I would say it was an okay stay but not better than that.

We booked our hotel for your breakfast, pool and pets. Your oil is closed and the breakfast was awful. Juice was water with a hint of apple flavor. The sausage was so bad my dogs wouldn't eat it( and they eat everything).

When we reached our floor, there was a strange odor. It wasn't as bad in the room, but only went away after we purchased an air freshener. On the first morning, we went down for breakfast, and they didn't have any milk for the three bowls of corn flakes. They didn't have any biscuits for the gravy, and there was no fresh fruit or yogurt. They did have waffles with syrup and sausage links. We chose other breakfast options for the rest of our visit. As I went to check out, I stopped in to see what they were offering for breakfast, while the selection of cereal was limited, it looked like they had restocked their refrigerator with milk and yogurt. I would stay here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice in town.

Not as advertised. Office staff had their children playing in the lobby. Rooms were half clean, pool was half empty and full of leaves. So I don't normally leave reviews, but I was really unhappy with this hotel. The only thing that was good about it was the staff was friendly and the price was decent. The room looked clean at first glance but then we started to notice things after spending some time in there. Bathtub was gross, the shower curtain had mold on it. The shower curtain rod was falling off causing the curtain to not shut. The top screw on each side was gone. The only trash can in the room was so gross that we had to put it in the hallway because not only did it look like someone took a crap in it, it smelled like it too. The carpet/baseboard was peeling off and just hanging there. The bathroom floor had small pieces of trash still on it, like no one had even swept it. After the first night there, I informed the front desk about the shower curtain rod, the trash can and the toilet and she made notes in her computer and asked another employee about the maintenance person making it sound like they would be getting that stuff fixed, at the very least the shower curtain because of the water going all over the place, but they never did fix it nor did they drop off the extra towels we asked for. We didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't comment on those, and we didn't eat the free breakfast, so I am not sure about that. Like I said, they were nice, but the place was not in the best shape and not the cleanest and I am far from being a clean freak!
