The Gate Hotel Front Pyramids & Sphinx View

Excelente precio, ubicación, vista, servicios, atención, todo! Las personas q trabajan allí te atienden como q fueras un gran faraón ! Un desayuno delicioso, típico, variado, buffet, higiénico, bien decorado, completo, etc. Felicitaciones!! Volveré allí otra y otra vez!

L'hôtel est très bien, parfaitement situé devant les pyramides. les prestations proposées, confort des chambres et repas le sont aussi. Par contre nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur les pyramides et quand nous sommes arrivés il nous a été attribuée une chambre avec vue sur le mur d'un immeuble en travaux à moins d'un mètre de notre fenêtre (avec reprise des travaux le lendemain matin dès que le soleil s'est levé...). Malgré nos contestations, le réceptionniste nous a dit qu'il n'avait plus de chambre de disponible mais qu'une nous serait attribuée le lendemain. Le lendemain, l'équipe de la réception avait changé, donc nouvelles explications, mais toujours pas de chambre de disponible. Après négociations, le repas du soir et le transfert vers l'aéroport nous ont été offerts. Une compensation, certes, mais maigre au regard du préjudice subi, et cela restera donc le gros point négatif de notre séjour d'autant que le prix de la chambre que nous avions réservée était plutôt élevé par rapport aux prix des hôtels voisins.

The Internet connection did not work at all. We were told that there is no connection around the area although my mobile data was working. Although one of our friends stayed in a different hotel not far from us no Internet connection was impacted in their hotel so we got the point. The Wi-Fi did not work. Plus we did not have any water supply when we checked in as this is a very important matter. You could not flush the toilets or have a shower we were supplied with Nestlé water bottles.

Breakfast was good staff very good service and the owner a great person .

Besides the view- there was nothing good about our stay. Room was on top floor without any elevator. Nobody helped us with our bags...so we had to carry 4 suitcases up several flights of stairs. Then we get to our room and our bathroom sink was clogged. We asked someone to fix the issue.. which they 'said they stopped by & did fix'. However- it was worse afterwards. Sink was clogged with sewer/waste smell coming out...which filled up entire bathroom. We could not even step foot in there. We literally got this room to freshen up & relax... and couldn't even do that.
