Wij hebben hier 1 nacht geslapen om te kunnen dineren bij het landgoed van Sting en te genieten van de omgeving. Heerlijke ruime kamer, die schoon was met een lekker bed. De kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

We loved our stay at Palagina. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Our room and the views are absolutely stunning. We loved hanging by the pool and taking walks on some paths to see natures around us. Wine and olive oil was also super tasty! We did a tasting and it was fantastic. Only thing that was that there is only a few restaurants on the property and they closed some for events so you are stuck with eating there if you don’t have a car. And taxis are practically non existent in this area, roads are narrow and winding with no lights so unsafe to walk anywhere. I would highly recommend renting a car if you come to this facility. I believe they have free parking.

Very good stay at Palagina Cascina. I’d a short distance from Villa La Palagina where the restaurant is for breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed the food at breakfast and great view. Dinner menu a bit limited, especially if you don’t eat meat. La Casina had its own pool and dining area for lunch. Loved the resort. Great location. Would definitely go back again.

Rooms are clean and up to date. High ceiling and stone walls makes the rooms a bit more special. Amazing view from the breakfast area which is located on a hill next to the hotel. It would take 10-15 to walk up the hill. A car makes it more convenient We would visit this luxurious resort again

Location favolosa, in mezzo alle colline del chianti. Panorama da sogno. Agriturismo davvero bello con tutte le comodità nel rispetto dell'ambiente. Camera pulita, essenziale e rustica. Ben climatizzata con doccia SUPER! Colazione ricca di ogni prelibatezza effettuata su una terrazza panoramica. Personale molto cordiale ed efficace. Unico neo: esserci stato solo per una notte.

A cosy place to stay in Tuscany about 30 minutes out of Florence. Super friendly staff and free parking, plus supermarkets close by. Great for self-drive holiday. Unpleasant smell in bathroom possibly from blocked pipes and we couldn't get the air-conditioner working so was challenging to get to sleep as it was warm inside and couldn't leave the window open due to mosquitos. Part of a winery with lovely Tuscan views and farm animals on the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I can’t even find the words. Our stay at Palagina was so wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I along with our 2 children ages 7/5 loved our apartment stay. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Beautiful views of the vineyard and Tuscan hills. The food at both venues were delicious , fresh and presentation was on point! The last night we reserved the vineyard dinner. This was so special to us. Our children loved the activities, pool and the playground. What a wonderful way to explore the Tuscan culture with our children.

Ich muss dazu sagen, das ich sehr viel reise und schon in 150+ Hotels war. Ich habe aber noch nie so ein hellhöriges Zimmer gehabt, man konnte an Schlaf nicht denken, da obendrüber eine Familie mit drei Kindern gewohnt hat, welche Tag und Nacht lärm gemacht hat. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war ok, der Mülleimer wurde in den vier Tagen, in denen wir Vorort waren, nicht einmal geleert. Die Sauberkeit am Pool und in der Anlage lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Personal beim Frühstück überhaupt keine Lust hatte, die Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, nachdem die Gäste gegangen waren, es wurde lieber am Handy gespielt. Das Restaurant war wegen einer Hochzeit alle vier Tage geschlossen, weshalb das "Frühstück" am Pool serviert wurde. Das auf Expedia als "großes Frühstück" bezeichnete Frühstück bestand aus Weißbrot, einer Johgurt-Sorte, zwei verschiedenen Marmarladen und Butter sowie viel zu hart gekochten Eiern (die innendrin dann schon grün waren). Es wurde nichts aufgefüllt, weshalb man ab 9 Uhr kaum mehr was bekam (Frühstück von 8-10 Uhr). Die Weinprobe für 28€ bestand aus einem Weißwein, einen Rosewein und zwei Rotweinen sowie 2 Scheiben Weißbrot mit Öl. Empfanden wir leider auch als zu viel für die Leistung. Man war auf das Auto angewiesen, um Abendessen zu gehen, da das Restaurant Vorort geschlossen war. Es gab an der Poolbar "Abendessen" ein mini Caesar Salat in der Pappschale mit Holzbesteck für 10€ fanden wir frech. Zum Aperol für 7€ gab es keine Snacks.

Wir waren vom 03.05.-08.05. im Palagina la Cascina. Der Beginn hat leider nicht so schön angefangen, da unser Zimmer einen recht starken Schimmelbefall hatte. Die Zimmer sind modern umgebaut, jedoch gibt es Probleme, die Feuchtigkeit aus den Räumen zu bekommen. Wir hatten nach der Reklamation direkt ein neues Zimmer Im Nebengebäude erhalten, welches eher im klassischen toskanischen Stil geprägt war, aber neu, hochwertig und sauber war. Die Anlage ist gesamt in einem sehr guten Zustand mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und die Ausstattung Außenanlage neu und modern. Das Frühstück findet im Nachbarhotel statt, mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Die Auswahl ist völlig ausreichend und anders als in vorherigen Rezensionen, war der Kaffee sehr gut. Das Hotel können wir im gesamten weiterempfehlen. Sollte man das Problem mit der Feuchtigkeit in den Griff bekommen, würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Zum Checkout hat sich der Manager noch einmal bei uns entschuldigt, sich über den gesamten Aufenthalt erkundigt und hat die Kosten für den Hund und ein Weintasting erlassen.

The Amazing view from your window makes you feel in paradise. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Unfortunately our fridge didn’t work . Breakfast is complete and really good . A lot of choices of salty and sweet food.

The room was cute, but shower head was disgusting. I turned on the water and noted the stream going every which way. I looked up because that can only mean that the shower head is dirty. The white shower head had black all over the spouts. Some were so blocked, nothing came out while the others were shooting in different directions. They need some vinegar soap and water to clean it. . Then I don’t even think they changed the trash bag from the previous stay, just grabbed the trash out cuz there was floss in the bin. The restaurant was okay. My risotto was very undercooked. Very heard. But the flavor was amazing. We started with one server who ended up ignoring us the rest of the stay. The one that took over was very kind and sweet. Then Arianna with the olive oil and wine tasting was great as well. The only reason I gave this place any stars was for them two.

Insgesamt sehr schön. Check in und out nicht ganz so praktisch, da die Zeiten sehr kurz gehalten werden. Frühstück im Freien ist eine neue Erfahrung, jedoch bei Regen nicht ganz so toll gewesen. Es gibt zwar eine Überdachung, jedoch ist diese nicht ganz dicht. Die Zimmer sind super schön renoviert und sehr sauber. Klimaanlage funktioniert super. Sehr nettes Personal überall

Das auf Expedia als "großes Frühstück" bezeichnete Frühstück bestand aus Weißbrot, einer Johgurt-Sorte, zwei verschiedenen Marmarladen und Butter sowie viel zu hart gekochten Eiern (die innendrin dann schon grün waren). Es wurde nichts aufgefüllt, weshalb man ab 9 Uhr kaum mehr was bekam (Frühstück von 8-10 Uhr). Die Weinprobe für 28€ bestand aus einem Weißwein, einen Rosewein und zwei Rotweinen sowie 2 Scheiben Weißbrot mit Öl. Empfanden wir leider auch als zu viel für die Leistung. Man war auf das Auto angewiesen, um Abendessen zu gehen, da das Restaurant Vorort geschlossen war. Es gab an der Poolbar "Abendessen" ein mini Caesar Salat in der Pappschale mit Holzbesteck für 10€ fanden wir frech. Zum Aperol für 7€ gab es keine Snacks.

Het was een rustige plek in een mooie omgeving. De kamers waren prima maar wel wat gehorig. In de periode dat wij er verbleven was er enkel de mogelijkheid voor ontbijt. Wij hebben hier 1 nacht geslapen om te kunnen dineren bij het landgoed van Sting en te genieten van de omgeving. Heerlijke ruime kamer, die schoon was met een lekker bed. De kinderen hebben genoten van het zwembad. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Es war eine schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit einem großen Pool und gepflegter Liegewiese. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat geht es nicht ohne Ohrenstöpsel. Das Frühstück ist eher mangelhaft. Eine Wurst und Käsesorte, hierbei war es bei uns Ziegenkäse den nicht jeder mag. Brot, Butter, Marmelade und ein gekochtes Ei. Der Kaffee wird frisch zubereitet was schön ist, dauert aber sehr lange. Leider ist die Sitzmöglichkeit beim Frühstück absolut ungeeignet. Es sehen Barhocker zur Verfügung oder irgendwelche ausgemusterten alten Holzbänke ohne Auflagen. Das geht überhaupt nicht.

The property has nice views but the rooms are subpar. The rooms are loud (definitely not sound proof as advertised), bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, fridge didn’t work and room overall felt very dingy. We were so disappointed with the room we booked accommodation elsewhere until the hotel could accommodate a room in their sister property the Dimora. I will say the staff was kind when assisting in this transition. However the sister property which is a 4 star hotel also left something to be desired. The room was smaller than we expected, the pool was not clean and unusable and there were no bikes available on the property (which I thought was advertised). Overall the staff was great but it was a pretty underwhelming stay.

Rooms are clean and up to date. High ceiling and stone walls makes the rooms a bit more special. Amazing view from the breakfast area which is located on a hill next to the hotel. It would take 10-15 to walk up the hill. A car makes it more convenient We would visit this luxurious resort again

I can’t even find the words. Our stay at Palagina was so wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I along with our 2 children ages 7/5 loved our apartment stay. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Beautiful views of the vineyard and Tuscan hills. The food at both venues were delicious , fresh and presentation was on point! The last night we reserved the vineyard dinner. This was so special to us. Our children loved the activities, pool and the playground. What a wonderful way to explore the Tuscan culture with our children.

Wir waren vom 03.05.-08.05. im Palagina la Cascina. Der Beginn hat leider nicht so schön angefangen, da unser Zimmer einen recht starken Schimmelbefall hatte. Die Zimmer sind modern umgebaut, jedoch gibt es Probleme, die Feuchtigkeit aus den Räumen zu bekommen. Wir hatten nach der Reklamation direkt ein neues Zimmer Im Nebengebäude erhalten, welches eher im klassischen toskanischen Stil geprägt war, aber neu, hochwertig und sauber war. Die Anlage ist gesamt in einem sehr guten Zustand mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und die Ausstattung Außenanlage neu und modern. Das Frühstück findet im Nachbarhotel statt, mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Die Auswahl ist völlig ausreichend und anders als in vorherigen Rezensionen, war der Kaffee sehr gut. Das Hotel können wir im gesamten weiterempfehlen. Sollte man das Problem mit der Feuchtigkeit in den Griff bekommen, würde ich 5 Sterne vergeben. Zum Checkout hat sich der Manager noch einmal bei uns entschuldigt, sich über den gesamten Aufenthalt erkundigt und hat die Kosten für den Hund und ein Weintasting erlassen.

The staff at the la cuchina was helpful and friendly, especially the people in the hamburger outdoor dining area. However, although the upper main hotel is available for dinner, and bee viewing, they didn't seem welcoming. We did not get property information upon check in and had to find out about most things ourself and.much if that was too late. An extremely concerning point is the two dogs on property, who are basically ignored. Not one employee knew their names. They clearly are uncomfortable with fleas. Such sweet, friendly and lonely dogs being mistreated. This ruined my experience.

Beutiful place surrounded with animals and wineyard. Very happy with our stay, even though we saw they have an even nicer hotel a few hundered meters further in which they seem to put more effort in to give great service, but also more expensive off course. The first day at check in and the second day there was no one at our recpetion which it said it would be between some hours. Thats why we don´t give 5 stars. The third day it was and she was lovely (Sylvia I think) she was very helpful adn took her time to help me with a traffic ticket cause it´s very confusing once you get one. She deserves and extra pat on her shoulder.

The highlight of this hotel is its location. A beautiful immersion in the Tuscany region. Details though were very lacking. Poor registration service and attitude. We were initially told breakfast wasn’t included but we had paid for it, so had to get that sorted out. It was a very good breakfast. No hot water, tv didn’t work, stuff like that. An air of pretentiousness rather than customer service, which is too bad because your location is an absolute dream!

We loved our stay at Palagina. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Our room and the views are absolutely stunning. We loved hanging by the pool and taking walks on some paths to see natures around us. Wine and olive oil was also super tasty! We did a tasting and it was fantastic. Only thing that was that there is only a few restaurants on the property and they closed some for events so you are stuck with eating there if you don’t have a car. And taxis are practically non existent in this area, roads are narrow and winding with no lights so unsafe to walk anywhere. I would highly recommend renting a car if you come to this facility. I believe they have free parking.

A cosy place to stay in Tuscany about 30 minutes out of Florence. Super friendly staff and free parking, plus supermarkets close by. Great for self-drive holiday. Unpleasant smell in bathroom possibly from blocked pipes and we couldn't get the air-conditioner working so was challenging to get to sleep as it was warm inside and couldn't leave the window open due to mosquitos. Part of a winery with lovely Tuscan views and farm animals on the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The highlight of this hotel is its location. A beautiful immersion in the Tuscany region. Details though were very lacking. Poor registration service and attitude. We were initially told breakfast wasn’t included but we had paid for it, so had to get that sorted out. It was a very good breakfast. No hot water, tv didn’t work, stuff like that. An air of pretentiousness rather than customer service, which is too bad because your location is an absolute dream!

Very nice Estate, but they need to invest in lighting and signage and an indoor location for breakfast. It was 53 degrees and raining a breakfast buffet was outdoors.

Ich muss dazu sagen, das ich sehr viel reise und schon in 150+ Hotels war. Ich habe aber noch nie so ein hellhöriges Zimmer gehabt, man konnte an Schlaf nicht denken, da obendrüber eine Familie mit drei Kindern gewohnt hat, welche Tag und Nacht lärm gemacht hat. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war ok, der Mülleimer wurde in den vier Tagen, in denen wir Vorort waren, nicht einmal geleert. Die Sauberkeit am Pool und in der Anlage lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Personal beim Frühstück überhaupt keine Lust hatte, die Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, nachdem die Gäste gegangen waren, es wurde lieber am Handy gespielt. Das Restaurant war wegen einer Hochzeit alle vier Tage geschlossen, weshalb das "Frühstück" am Pool serviert wurde. Das auf Expedia als "großes Frühstück" bezeichnete Frühstück bestand aus Weißbrot, einer Johgurt-Sorte, zwei verschiedenen Marmarladen und Butter sowie viel zu hart gekochten Eiern (die innendrin dann schon grün waren). Es wurde nichts aufgefüllt, weshalb man ab 9 Uhr kaum mehr was bekam (Frühstück von 8-10 Uhr). Die Weinprobe für 28€ bestand aus einem Weißwein, einen Rosewein und zwei Rotweinen sowie 2 Scheiben Weißbrot mit Öl. Empfanden wir leider auch als zu viel für die Leistung. Man war auf das Auto angewiesen, um Abendessen zu gehen, da das Restaurant Vorort geschlossen war. Es gab an der Poolbar "Abendessen" ein mini Caesar Salat in der Pappschale mit Holzbesteck für 10€ fanden wir frech. Zum Aperol für 7€ gab es keine Snacks.

Grote kamers. Hotel in rustige omgeving en dichtbij wijnhuizen om Chianti streek te ontdekken. Te weinig parkeer plekken. Wij waren een uur te vroeg met inchecken (hierover van tevoren een bericht gestuurd) maar niemand aanwezig bij aankomst. Personeel die er rond liepen waren ongeinteresseerd en konden niet helpen waardoor wij dus op een later tijdstip moesten terug komen. Schoonmaak van de kamers laat te wensen over, vloer lag nog vol met kruimels bij aankomst, vlekken op de bank / stoelen. Wij hadden de pech dat de villa afgehuurd werd voor 2 van de 4 dagen van ons verblijf, hierdoor werd het ontbijt geserveerd bij het verblijf. Niet erg op zich maar wel als het ontbijt dus slecht is en daar betaal je dus wel voor. Al met al, ik zou dit verblijf aan niemand aanraden.

Very good stay at Palagina Cascina. I’d a short distance from Villa La Palagina where the restaurant is for breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed the food at breakfast and great view. Dinner menu a bit limited, especially if you don’t eat meat. La Casina had its own pool and dining area for lunch. Loved the resort. Great location. Would definitely go back again.

Es war eine schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit einem großen Pool und gepflegter Liegewiese. Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig, wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat geht es nicht ohne Ohrenstöpsel. Das Frühstück ist eher mangelhaft. Eine Wurst und Käsesorte, hierbei war es bei uns Ziegenkäse den nicht jeder mag. Brot, Butter, Marmelade und ein gekochtes Ei. Der Kaffee wird frisch zubereitet was schön ist, dauert aber sehr lange. Leider ist die Sitzmöglichkeit beim Frühstück absolut ungeeignet. Es sehen Barhocker zur Verfügung oder irgendwelche ausgemusterten alten Holzbänke ohne Auflagen. Das geht überhaupt nicht.

I can’t even find the words. Our stay at Palagina was so wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I along with our 2 children ages 7/5 loved our apartment stay. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Beautiful views of the vineyard and Tuscan hills. The food at both venues were delicious , fresh and presentation was on point! The last night we reserved the vineyard dinner. This was so special to us. Our children loved the activities, pool and the playground. What a wonderful way to explore the Tuscan culture with our children.

The place was amazing! We enjoyed our stay here, definitely try out their wine tasting . The only feedback we had was the breakfast, the options were very limited. There was some cereals and cold bread, cold eggs and some cheese and ham, the one shown in the pictures are the ones you've to pay for.
