Scary neighborhood, man passed out, face down in driveway when we checked in. Problem in hotel caused fire alarm to go off at 5 am.

Smoke detector broken, very sterile feel, door not airtight, bathtub caulking breaking down, stairs rusting. The bed was clean and I wasn't going to be there long. Served my purpose.

Door lock wasn't reliable and party in parking lot kepp me awake

No coffee maker in room. Had to tighten toilet seat. One bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth. No free breakfast because the city had not issued a permit. Next to the highway. Good if you are travelling for heavy construction work but not with your wife.

I booked online because they advertised continental breakfast, but there wasnt one. Was told due to the hotel being newly opened. There was no amenities in the room, cups, coffee maker, towels, soap, shampoo or tissues. The floor was so dirty that mud prints were left after getting out of the shower. There isnt a box spring just a metal frame that the mattress sits on and slides around when you move in bed. On the positive side, the tv, fridege and microwave was new and all worked well. There was constant banging and noise coming from upstairs and then a lot of slamming doors and talking at 5:30 am.

Roaches..dirty towels..no tv

Room was dirty I was disgusted had to take off the bed covers. I was only there for 7 hours or so. They could really wash the bed covers on a more daily basis. Shower curtain was nasty dirty edge was black and curtain was white

I checked into the hotel and noticed quite a few visible stains on the bed sheets. I went back to the front desk to inform the employee. She insisted that the room was clean without going to look at it herself and only offered to have the sheets changed. So I requested to be moved do another room instead. She reluctantly had another employee show me another room. I go to look at that room and see stains on that bed as well, one of which looked like blood. This male employee insisted that the bedding is cleaned, ironed and inspected daily without coming into the room to look for himself. I told him that I would step out of the room so that he could see for himself. He then didn’t say anything and began to take the sheets off the bed and said that he would just replace them. So I walked back to the front desk and asked for a refund, because I could not sleep in these conditions. The front desk employee said that she canceled my reservation in the system. I asked for the cancellation receipt that she had already printed but she said that she could not give it to me and that I would have to get my money back from Expedia and that there was nothing that she could do. I have initiated a complaint last night and the rep’s name was Jasper. I also already email photos of the bedding stains. This is unacceptable from the disgusting rooms to the poor customer service, and I expect a full refund for the inconvenience. Thank you in advance.

The price was very reasonable so i knew the conditions of the place wasnt going to be perfect the door of the room didnt seem secure the sheets were very stained but overall if your just needing a cheap place to stay

This is our second time to stay here and honestly it wasn’t as clean this time as it was last time. The sheets and dirt or something small black specks that I had to dust off. The sheets and comforters were stained pretty bad. Floor was dirty feeling and had spots where stuff looked to have been spilled on the floor. It’s was ok, and we made do for just one night but definitely wouldn’t recommend an extended stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the room #111. Some of the reviews for this hotel were iffy. We loved our room. Room, bed & bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. This hotel has been refurnished. Fresh paint and new appliances. Loved the floors. No carpet. They are in the process of getting their food permit, so no breakfast. Cracker Barrel & other options are across the highway. If you need a coffee pot or iron, you will need to ask at the front desk for one. I have to say the room was nicer/cleaner than some of the 4- & 5-star hotels we have stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. From 2 days prior to check in saying they were going to charge my card due to Mardi Gras season to calling to see if we were still coming when we were about 10 min from. Check in . Room is terrible, beds very uncomfortable, rooms being smoked in and someone trying to get in our room around midnitesaying it was their room. Then around 4:30am, room next door start fighting and arguing until 6:00. Needless to say, no sleep … will never stay here again and I suggest you don’t either. Just was waiting for bullets to start flying

The door to the room doesn’t even shut completely. There are holes in the walls. Rusty desk. Light from outside comes in through the door where there should be weather stripping.

Sink faucet extremely loose and leaking on floor. Door drags the floor. Coffee machine not working properly

The owners are very nice and helpful. They made a mistake on our price, but fixed it right away and with a great attitude. I would definitely stay here again.

No bath cloths. Key pad hanging out of door inside. Sheetrock mud on frig and chair. I could see outside around the door. People next door partying and fighting. Called front seat at 11PM. No help. Called front desk again at 1AM no help. Called the police at 2AM finally got two hours sleep. Should have used my credit card then I could have disputed the stay. Disappointed Expedia would recommend a place like this.

I have never written a review before (much less a negative one), but after staying here, I think others should be aware of what they’re getting themselves into before booking. I have never before had such a horrible experience with a hotel as I have staying here. If I could rate this property in negative stars, I would. The way we were treated by the staff was hostile and rude, and I will never stay at an Econo Lodge again after the experience I had here. Unless you were looking to be belittled, interrupted, and dismissed, I’d find a hotel as far away from here as possible. I am still shocked at how anyone, much less those in the hotel industry, would think it’s acceptable to treat another person the way we were here. Note to management- please make sure you’re aware of the ADA rules and regulations before arguing with a customer about something you are not knowledgeable about. If I had any capacity left in me, I’d consider suing.

Requested a cash deposit so does that?

Where should I start? This was my first time visiting this property. We arrived around 11pm and the doors to the lobby were locked. A lady came to a window with a cut out for her to speak. She was very matter of fact, not friendly. When it was my turn, she told me there was a $40 cash deposit. She said it was because people damage the rooms and tvs.. I paid online and was confused because credit cards are usually used for incidentals. I handed her my driver license and credit card and she said that she preferred cash. I had $10 on me and had to get cash the next morning. If it wasn't for the fact that every other hotel in the area was above $200/ night, I would've gone elsewhere. Once we were checked in, I noticed the top blankets were stained. I immediately removed them from the beds and we used our travel blankets. The location is convenient but I'll book wayyyyy ahead somewhere else the next time. Breakfast was usual waffles/cereal/toast/muffins/juice. But the owner sat in the lobby area watching. Very weird. When it was time for me to check out, the lady at the front desk just said, "Thank you". I had to ask for my deposit back. She was going to keep it. I heard another lady ask for her deposit the day before and thought, maybe she forgot but nope, they're hoping YOU forget. NEVER AGAIN. I'll sleep in my car at a truck stop before I stay here again.

Breakfast was not good. Apple juice was rotten, coffee was terrible.
