PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL TO ARRANGE CHECK IN TIME as our office is not open all day and our gate is locked. Office opening hours: 10-1 and 4-6. We are not a 24 hour reception. Late check in can be arranged if required, please organise with reception. For all standard bookings there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Any no shows for standard bookings are subject to a charge on your method of payment equal to the first night's stay on your booking. Please note this does not apply to Non Refundable Bookings. GENERAL HOUSE RULES: • No Smoking in rooms. Smoking in rooms will incur a $100 fine. • No feeding others pets or the wildlife • Strictly NO hard drugs or excessive drinking on this property • Quiet time (ie. no music, games or loud talking) after 10:30pm • Kitchenware to be washed up and put away immediately after use • No smokes, drinks or rough play on the pool table or in the pool area • No food, drinks or sleeping in the cinema room • Any negative talk, swearing, yelling or violence and agressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Everyone is different so please respect each other's values and beliefs. • Visitor hours strictly between 8am and 7pm. ALL visitors must present photo ID to office staff upon arrival or entry is not permitted. • After hours lock outs and replacement keys: $20, replacement keys $10 • NO PAY = NO STAY • You will receive a code for gate access. This is strictly not to be ever given to anyone. If we find people on our property that you have given your code to, your code will be changed. • Should you require change for coins for washing machines, please see Dom between 10 and 1pm only. She does not work all day, if you forget you will need to get them elsewhere or wait for the next day. • Guests staying at Castaways Backpackers take full responsibility for any damage, missing items and/or breakages incurred during their stay to their room, of which costs will be directly charged to the guest at management's discretion. Breaking these rules and/or forced removal may result in loss of deposit and/or loss of any paid accommodation.
