Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room for everyone to have their own quiet time as well as comfortable living room and dining space for hanging out together. The location cannot be beat— right on the beach with unobstructed views and plenty of sand. Equipped with everything you’d need to never leave/ plenty of beach toys and umbrellas, kitchen with all the cooking tools you’ll need, and a small grocery store less than a block away. Excellent communication from property management and easy check-in and simple check-out process. Will be back!

The house is clean and as shown in the photos. The kitchen is very well stocked if you like to cook. They provided plenty of towels, toys and chairs to take to the beach. Communication with the property management company was quick and helpful. We would not hesitate to return.

Amazing experience staying in this unique home with beach access. We enjoyed the view of the beach from the upper deck, lower deck and living room. My kids reported the upper beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and everything we needed to cook a few meals. Perfect place for a spontaneous weekend getaway from Austin.

We were looking for a beach front location to escape our cold winter weather. This place did not disappoint! It is in a beautiful quiet location with wonderful access to the beach. Communication with the property manager was very good and check in was easy. The house is very comfortable and very clean and well equipped. We loved that it was dog friendly so our buddy could go with us. I highly recommend this property and I would definitely come back!

We spent 4 nights and were very sad to have to leave! We loved everything about this place. A couple things we loved: - Cleanliness - Everything you could need to be able to cook from home - Really appreciated the makeup remover wipes (because i forgot to pack mine). Also the makeup mirror in the bathroom! - A/C worked amazingly!! - Cant beat the location, being on the beach was our favorite part. The walk to the beach is a short one and we loved all the windows that let us see the beach from the inside. The uniquely shaped windows were really cool too. The "dome" shape of the house was so cute and added to the uniqueness of the property. It made it easy for us to distinguish which house was ours when arriving too. - Loved the swing at the bottom of the house, we spent a lot of time down there. - There is a decent sized yard with beautiful grass which our fur babies appreciated. - Love the secluded location of the house on the island too. It's very peaceful, beach was not crowded at all. There are plenty of local restaurants within 10 minutes to choose from too if you'd like to go out. - Highly recommend Rick's Beach Rentals, The Galvestonite Bistro and Seven Seas Grocery for any of your needs! Long story short, we already can't wait to come back!

Perfect! Our second stay. Obviously love the steps to the ocean, but the house is beautifully appointed, incredibly spacious, and has all the necessary amenities plus more. Especially love the beach toys and the porch swing. Thank you so much! We will be back. go on the full moon! It was beautiful to see the moonrise over the ocean.

We love this property! It was clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing. The beach is closer than it looks in the pictures. I spent most of my 5 days on the porch enjoying the view, the surf, the sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet, and the beach is a pedestrian beach, so there aren't many people around. In the mornings, there are some people walking their dogs, but most of the day, it feels like a private beach. I loved the outside shower and the swing on the lower level. There are plenty of chairs on the porch. Bring mosquito spray. The first two days, there weren't any mosquitos, but the rest of the time, they were bad. I appreciated the beach towels provided. They were extra-large and plush. During our stay from August 27 through September 1, we did not see or experience any tar on the beach. The air conditioner worked great! Our entire experience was wonderful! The house is clean, comfortable and cool!! We rented a golfcart from Rick's and they delivered it right away and picked it up on time. Be aware the beach is pedestrian and golf carts (or any motorized vehicle) is not allowed. There are 3 or 4 places to ride the cart right down to the water and in the neighborhood across the street, there is a marina, a pool, a store, and a restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was excellent for our family of five - a very uniquely designed small beach house right on the shore. We even took our dog with us and walked on the beach daily. It is a little bit of a drive from downtown Galveston, but worth it! The house was well equipped with necessary items in the kitchen and bathrooms. We hope to come back soon! We highly recommend this place to anyone.

We have enjoyed 2 stays in this property and it is clean, comfortable and located on the beach which is important to us. It does seem that this property needs some updating and cosmetic work ( trim paint etc). Also, the drawer face of the silverware drawer in the kitchen came off when pulled and shows wear and tear. In addition, there are lots of ants and gnats. We purchased ant traps but they should have been in place. We also found the lockbox to be difficult.

Just as expected and advertised! Probably the cleanest rental I've stayed in! Comfy beds. During our stay it was very quiet - except the ocean waves once you step outside! Very well kept. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a comfortable house that was as close to the beach as we could get. With three little boys access to the sand and water is the most important thing. Room for the whole family (4 adults and 2 teenagers). Very clean and location was great. Plenty of beach time and not far from restaurants and activities. Would recommend staying at Surfside!

We had such a great stay! The house was very clean and cozy, and the location was ideal. It can be hard to find rentals for just a small group and this was perfect for the 5 of us. Everything was well-stocked and perfect for our visit. We hope to be back again soon!

There were 6 in our group all of which are retired. We had the best time and the house and accommodations were perfect for our group. We all laughed and said “what happens in Galveston stays in Galveston”. Our kids and grand kids wouldn’t believe what a great time we had. The house was right on the beach. The sunsets were spectacular. We would definitely this hime and the price was great!
There were 6 in our group all of which are retired. We had the best time and the house and accommodations were perfect for our group. We all laughed and said “what happens in Galveston stays in Galveston”. Our kids and grand kids wouldn’t believe what a great time we had. The house was right on the beach. Booked a 10 day stay and found this property very nice. The view is excellent and as I say in the review title, we were out of the crowds that are typical in Galveston. Very relaxing. Be aware there is a pretty steep spiral stairway to access the upstairs bedrooms (the large master bedroom is downstairs) which could be a challenge for an older or limited mobility person. That aside the property is excellent.

Perfect size home for our family of 6, plus a friend. Home had everything we could possibly need and then some. Can't beat the proximty to the beach, just right outside the back door, and felt like we had our own private peice of the beach. Views from all the windows and doors were beautiful day and night. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed the provided beach toys and there is plenty to do inside as well with the selection of books, games, and movies.Try Jamaica Beach Hardware for fun soda flavors and Seven Seas Grocery or Sea Isle Supermarket for supplies.

This is our second visit to this property. The location is awesome, and the layout of the house works really well for us. We stayed with my elderly parents, who took the downstairs bedroom. My husband, my son, and I slept upstairs. The beach is right out your front door. When we arrived, there were a couple of issues with some maintenance that had been done on the house, but the property manager addressed our concerns quickly.

We have enjoyed 2 stays in this property and it is clean, comfortable and located on the beach which is important to us. It does seem that this property needs some updating and cosmetic work ( trim paint etc). Also, the drawer face of the silverware drawer in the kitchen came off when pulled and shows wear and tear. In addition, there are lots of ants and gnats. We purchased ant traps but they should have been in place. We also found the lockbox to be difficult.

We enjoyed our stay here. Check in and check out could not have been easier. The house was comfortable, the beach was close. Beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again. I appreciate the details included like hand soap, dish soap, and kleenex. I appreciate the quick responses and courtesy provided when I had questions for the property manager.

We were looking for a beach front location to escape our cold winter weather. This place did not disappoint! It is in a beautiful quiet location with wonderful access to the beach. Communication with the property manager was very good and check in was easy. The house is very comfortable and very clean and well equipped. We loved that it was dog friendly so our buddy could go with us. I highly recommend this property and I would definitely come back!

This is our second visit to this property. The location is awesome, and the layout of the house works really well for us. We stayed with my elderly parents, who took the downstairs bedroom. My husband, my son, and I slept upstairs. The beach is right out your front door. When we arrived, there were a couple of issues with some maintenance that had been done on the house, but the property manager addressed our concerns quickly.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay here. Lots of room for everyone to have their own quiet time as well as comfortable living room and dining space for hanging out together. The location cannot be beat— right on the beach with unobstructed views and plenty of sand. Equipped with everything you’d need to never leave/ plenty of beach toys and umbrellas, kitchen with all the cooking tools you’ll need, and a small grocery store less than a block away. Excellent communication from property management and easy check-in and simple check-out process. Will be back!

Amazing experience staying in this unique home with beach access. We enjoyed the view of the beach from the upper deck, lower deck and living room. My kids reported the upper beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and everything we needed to cook a few meals. Perfect place for a spontaneous weekend getaway from Austin.

Nice layout and well stocked for a family (6 people). Quiet area of the island. The little shop across the street was convenient for last minute needs. Beach access was great and the area was clean. Bringing a wagon would have been a real plus to save trips back and forth.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, neat and as described. We really enjoyed having the beach so close. The beach was private so we had plenty of space and didnt have to deal with the large crowds from the public beaches. We would definitely recomend this property. Thanks!

This property was everything we were looking for...quiet, private beach, well stocked with needed supplies, room for everyone, clean. Perfect! It is outside of town so requires a 10-15 minute drive to access amenities but we actually prefer that type of vacation...it's quiet and away from the crowds. We couldn't ask for a better property for our spring break!

Loved our daily walks down the beach, unwinding on the top deck with a cocktail, perfect breeze and the sound of the waves. It was just what i needed. The only downfall, no good restaurants in the area. House was stocked with everything you could need plus some. Very homey!

We enjoyed the provided beach toys and there is plenty to do inside as well with the selection of books, games, and movies.Try Jamaica Beach Hardware for fun soda flavors and Seven Seas Grocery or Sea Isle Supermarket for supplies.

We spent 4 nights and were very sad to have to leave! We loved everything about this place. A couple things we loved: - Cleanliness - Everything you could need to be able to cook from home - Really appreciated the makeup remover wipes (because i forgot to pack mine). Also the makeup mirror in the bathroom! - A/C worked amazingly!! - Cant beat the location, being on the beach was our favorite part. The walk to the beach is a short one and we loved all the windows that let us see the beach from the inside. The uniquely shaped windows were really cool too. The "dome" shape of the house was so cute and added to the uniqueness of the property. It made it easy for us to distinguish which house was ours when arriving too. - Loved the swing at the bottom of the house, we spent a lot of time down there. - There is a decent sized yard with beautiful grass which our fur babies appreciated. - Love the secluded location of the house on the island too. It's very peaceful, beach was not crowded at all. There are plenty of local restaurants within 10 minutes to choose from too if you'd like to go out. - Highly recommend Rick's Beach Rentals, The Galvestonite Bistro and Seven Seas Grocery for any of your needs! Long story short, we already can't wait to come back!

This rental had everything you need for a beach vacation. Perfect location and not over crowded. The location to the beach is steps away and the deck is perfect to watch the waves and enjoy the sounds. Highly recommend as they are great hosts and the property is very nearly organized and clean.

Stay was very clean and very convenient to the beach. We were very happy with the complimentary beach umbrellas, wave boards, and sand toys for the kids. Wry relaxing coaches and beds. Spiral staircase very narrow but we still enjoyed its uniqueness. Plenty of dishes and silverware for cooking at the house which I love because I had no trouble cooking three course meals during my stay. Liked the electric cover shades on the deck doors too! Nothing but good things to say!

This was beautiful, well-maintained home right on the beach. Even with seven people and a dog, the house felt spacious. The hosts were so nice, allowing us to add a pet when we could not find a pet sitter. The location is perfect and the beach was quiet. The house had plenty of supplies such as trash bags, dish soap, etc. with a washer and dryer. I wish the weather had cooperated a little better, but I am definitely adding this house to my favorites list.
