We loved our stay! The Lady Emma was better than the pictures! My kids so wanted to stay longer! The house offers so much! Bowling alley, games, pool table, plus lots of nice touches in case we forgot things which we did! We loved it!

This home is beautiful and fit our vacation to St Louis perfectly! We came with our son and his family with a total of 10 people from ages 6-71! We had so much fun in St Louis everyday and then came back to have more fun on the 3rd floor with the pool table, bowling alley and video games! .. and even a stroller and baby doll whose name is Ella now! Lol. There was always something for everybody to do. The home is located close to downtown so it was very easy get to all of the things that we wanted to do. We had a Great time and I would definately recommend it to our friends who want to check out St Louis! Thank you for all the services, communication, and features that you offer! So Much Fun!

This home is beautiful. Very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Great parking space for 2 cars in the back. Our family had a lot of fun in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals. The host was very quick to respond and great to work with. The location was great for all of our St Louis attractions. We would highly recommend.

This place is fine. We rented from abodebucks before, and the place was great, mostly our issues were with them. If I owned this property and they managed it the way they did, I’d be upset. It was made up but not cleaned and had clearly not been deep cleaned in a long time. It wasn’t disgusting, it just hadn’t been properly cleaned. We called, texted, and left a voicemail when we checked in asking about alternatives or if someone could come clean it. They texted me back the next morning, but nothing ever happened. They didn’t return text or call etc, nobody ever came. Some fixtures are failing, a bunch of lights seemed to flicker throughout the place which had me worried about wiring on their renovation. It was too consistent to be bulbs, all different circuits etc. the master bath tub didn’t drain well, one of the sinks didn’t drain well, I think two of the tv’s didn’t work with the remote. I expressed all of this, I feel super kindly, and right away and I think we just fell off their radar. It happens. There was always parking out front. The loft was full of toys etc. we come to St. Louis every year to see family, some of their other rentals were nicer for sure.

Little things and issues but property manager was in touch quick… the front door lock wasn’t working, and the back steps are completely falling apart- not sure why that is not roped up but it’s not safe at all- it’s an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, another great stay.

This vacation rental exceeded our expectations in every regard. The game room was so fun and kept our kids busy. The kitchen and house were well equipped with everything we needed and more. The location was very close to attractions and places to eat. Would highly recommend!

The home was great & offered a lot of room to move around, accommodating multiple age groups. The rooms were large, welcoming & cozy; decorated nicely. The three second floor bedrooms were large & comfy! The bedroom on the first floor was fine, but would’ve been more desirable to have had a master sweet, on the first floor, for aging parents unable to climb stairs. The third floor game room was an added bonus which was the reason we opted for this rental & it did not disappoint! There are a lot of stairs in this home, so if the the three level, multiple staircases, are not for you then this abode will not be ideal. The home could use some minor maintenance within, but overall this vaca home was clean & fantastic for our extended family trip. The location of this rental property was perfect! We all felt very safe in the neighborhood & it was a short walking distance to a quaint ice cream shop, coffee shop, a lovely distillery/restaurant & gorgeous park, with playground, picturous gardens & water features. The neighborhood, although historic, was maintained nicely with very little noise. The area was very close to downtown; the Arch, The City Museum & the awesome St Louis Zoo.

This property was the cleanest and best stocked VRBO we’ve ever had. It’s in a great location with plenty of room for multiple families. We will definitely book again when we’re back next year.

House was amazing and clean and just wonderful. Nicely stocked. I only put 4 stars in one area because it took several days to get the futon that the house was supposed to have and several days to take care of a non-op AC. BUT besides that, I’d most happily stay there again. And there’s a great icecream place at the end of the alley.

The property was beautiful and clean, was well stocked and fun. It was big enough for a group of nine (2 families with older kids). The location was good, and very close to the highway and several attractions. However, we were charged several hundred dollars in fees after the initial quoted price. The fees were from both VRBO and ABODEbucks, and they were very offputting. I was embarrassed to have to share them with our friends after we had agreed to book this property based on the original quoted price. And when there is a couple hundred dollar cleaning fee on top of the not inexpensive per night cost it felt kind of offensive to be asked to take out the trash and change the sheets. I wouldn’t mind doing that normally- I know this is someone’s home and want to be respectful of it- but why am I paying extra, too? I just felt like the fees and frustrations kept piling on. That said, if the surprise fees can be sorted out, this would be a very nice place to stay again.

The house was clean, fun, and was in a great location. There is so much space — you could really bring the whole clan with you if you needed to. The house, rooms, beds, and amenities are all great. The ONLY complaint we had was that the property manager was (and is still) overly communicative. Just so many messages and emails leading up to, and especially on, check-in day. Many more than were necessary.

Enjoyed staying at The Lady Emma. Clean, safe area, and close to all the attractions - zoo, botanical gardens, and more. Great toys for our 2 1/2 year old in rec room was also a bonus. Host was very friendly and accommodating. If you stay here, you must visit Clementines Ice Cream Shop - within walking distance and best ice cream I’ve ever had! I’d go back.

This house was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the games available on the third floor. We were very impressed with cleanliness and thoughtfulness of amenities. Convenient location to downtown and also walkable to a few cute restaurants. The house is adjacent to an intersection of two larger roads, so there was a little bit of overnight traffic sounds/sirens, but not too bad. The 5 PM check-in time is later than what I am used to, so definitely plan around that. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend!

wonderful stay, the house has tons of amenities. Some of the rooms are a little warm on hot days but overall a wonderful place to stay. the walk to the Ice cream shop was almost a daily event. Kids loved the playroom. Safe area to be in and extremely close to town. we would defiantly book this space again if we do another family trip to Saint Louis

This lovely house is everything the photos display and is a lovely property with very modern upgrades throughout. This property is located in one the best spots if you're going to be on the highway a lot or spending all of your time in the city. We were 6 minutes away from the Arch in rush hour traffic, 8 minutes from The Foundry, 7 minutes from The City Museum, the Science Center and the Aquarium. It was a very easy 30 minute drive to Six Flags, as well. You will not be disappointed!

From little things like labeling drawers, and making sure that there are “odds and ends” (ex: we needed a pair of scissors and were happy to find one), to being super responsive when anything came up. The space is huge and our kiddos had so much fun in the third level making it their “hangout”. One of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

This house was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the games available on the third floor. We were very impressed with cleanliness and thoughtfulness of amenities. Convenient location to downtown and also walkable to a few cute restaurants. The house is adjacent to an intersection of two larger roads, so there was a little bit of overnight traffic sounds/sirens, but not too bad. The 5 PM check-in time is later than what I am used to, so definitely plan around that. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend!

The only complaint is the house was so cold. Since it’s a big house and old I understand that, but the one room I stayed in, air was blowing in thru the window frame. The bed was against the window. IT WAS SO COLD IN THAT ROOM! Other than that it was perfect!

We stayed to attend my son’s wedding in Forest Park. We were only 10 minutes from everything and family staying in hotels downtown. Definitely beat out staying at the top hotels there!!! The home was so lovely, updated, and beautiful pieces of furniture. It was stocked with everything you’d need at home. We enjoyed walking to dinner around the corner, the precious ice cream parlor, and the rear parking to not take up spots for the local residents. We would definitely love to stay there again for future visits!! Thank you to the host and the cleaning lady for being so gracious because we had a ton of luggage and wedding decorations to pack up and drive back to New Orleans the morning of our departure!

Prompt communication, comfy beds, plentiful linens, easy parking and access to freeway/downtown, family friendly property, and safe neighborhood. Our kids loved the duck pin bowling alley!! Highly recommend!

House was amazing and clean and just wonderful. Nicely stocked. I only put 4 stars in one area because it took several days to get the futon that the house was supposed to have and several days to take care of a non-op AC. BUT besides that, I’d most happily stay there again. And there’s a great icecream place at the end of the alley.

The house was clean, fun, and was in a great location. There is so much space — you could really bring the whole clan with you if you needed to. The house, rooms, beds, and amenities are all great. The ONLY complaint we had was that the property manager was (and is still) overly communicative. Just so many messages and emails leading up to, and especially on, check-in day. Many more than were necessary.

We had an amazing stay at the Lady Emma in St. Louis! Literally every detail was thought of by the homeowners. From little things like labeling drawers, and making sure that there are “odds and ends” (ex: we needed a pair of scissors and were happy to find one), to being super responsive when anything came up. The space is huge and our kiddos had so much fun in the third level making it their “hangout”. One of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!

Enjoyed staying at The Lady Emma. Clean, safe area, and close to all the attractions - zoo, botanical gardens, and more. Great toys for our 2 1/2 year old in rec room was also a bonus. Host was very friendly and accommodating. If you stay here, you must visit Clementines Ice Cream Shop - within walking distance and best ice cream I’ve ever had! I’d go back.

This home is beautiful. Very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Great parking space for 2 cars in the back. Our family had a lot of fun in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals. The host was very quick to respond and great to work with. The location was great for all of our St Louis attractions. We would highly recommend.

This place is fine. We rented from abodebucks before, and the place was great, mostly our issues were with them. If I owned this property and they managed it the way they did, I’d be upset. It was made up but not cleaned and had clearly not been deep cleaned in a long time. It wasn’t disgusting, it just hadn’t been properly cleaned. We called, texted, and left a voicemail when we checked in asking about alternatives or if someone could come clean it. They texted me back the next morning, but nothing ever happened. They didn’t return text or call etc, nobody ever came. Some fixtures are failing, a bunch of lights seemed to flicker throughout the place which had me worried about wiring on their renovation. It was too consistent to be bulbs, all different circuits etc. the master bath tub didn’t drain well, one of the sinks didn’t drain well, I think two of the tv’s didn’t work with the remote. I expressed all of this, I feel super kindly, and right away and I think we just fell off their radar. It happens. There was always parking out front. The loft was full of toys etc. we come to St. Louis every year to see family, some of their other rentals were nicer for sure.

We had a great time at The Lady Emma! Everyone loved the house, it was comfortable and in a great location. The property manager returned texts very promptly and was very helpful. I will try to rent this out every year!

Little things and issues but property manager was in touch quick… the front door lock wasn’t working, and the back steps are completely falling apart- not sure why that is not roped up but it’s not safe at all- it’s an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, another great stay.

This lovely house is everything the photos display and is a lovely property with very modern upgrades throughout. This property is located in one the best spots if you're going to be on the highway a lot or spending all of your time in the city. We were 6 minutes away from the Arch in rush hour traffic, 8 minutes from The Foundry, 7 minutes from The City Museum, the Science Center and the Aquarium. It was a very easy 30 minute drive to Six Flags, as well. You will not be disappointed!

The home was great & offered a lot of room to move around, accommodating multiple age groups. The rooms were large, welcoming & cozy; decorated nicely. The three second floor bedrooms were large & comfy! The bedroom on the first floor was fine, but would’ve been more desirable to have had a master sweet, on the first floor, for aging parents unable to climb stairs. The third floor game room was an added bonus which was the reason we opted for this rental & it did not disappoint! There are a lot of stairs in this home, so if the the three level, multiple staircases, are not for you then this abode will not be ideal. The home could use some minor maintenance within, but overall this vaca home was clean & fantastic for our extended family trip. The location of this rental property was perfect! We all felt very safe in the neighborhood & it was a short walking distance to a quaint ice cream shop, coffee shop, a lovely distillery/restaurant & gorgeous park, with playground, picturous gardens & water features. The neighborhood, although historic, was maintained nicely with very little noise. The area was very close to downtown; the Arch, The City Museum & the awesome St Louis Zoo.

We absolutely loved the location...little hard to find and get into the 1st time but worth the hassle. We had lots of fun on the 3rd floor, spent most of our time up there. Only complaints we had were no place to go in really bad weather. The nice neighbors across the alley gave us shelter in a basement during the tornado warnings. The other complaint we had was that we only had 1 towel and washcloth per person for our whole stay. Other than that it is a fun stay close to everything.

Had a wonderful stay for a quick, little family getaway. The home was beautiful and my boys ( 6 and 2) loved the game room and all of the extra fun toys. The home is located in quiet, safe area that is located close to all of the fun spots around town! Would definitely stay here again!

Incredible historic house! Beautifully restored & furnished, with all the modern conveniences any family or group would enjoy, including an AMAZING game room on the top floor!!! Lots of stairs, so be aware if someone in your group has mobility issues. However, there is one BR & BA on the 1st floor, which is easier to access rather than BRs on 2nd floor, but that 1st floor BA doesn’t have a shower. Listing mentions this, so be sure to prepare whomever will be staying in that room. Had some initial difficulty getting door codes corrected (front & back doors had different codes, which had not been provided, but mgt fixed it quickly). Location is convenient for everything in STL. Quiet, pretty, tree-lined neighborhood just a few blocks from wonderful walking paths & duck pond in Lafayette Park.

This is a wonderful house for a group. It’s very spacious, well set up, and made traveling with multiple people easy and enjoyable. Everyone had plenty of room, and the common areas were perfect for gathering. We’d happily stay here again.
