Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns wohl/sicher gefühlt. Das Haus ist grosszügig, ruhig gelegen und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Auf unsere Nachfrage hin wurde uns umgehend ein Toaster geliefert. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Grillstation auf der Terasse haben wir nicht benutzt. Sie war ziemlich schmutzig. Super fanden wir die Möglickeit zu Waschen (sehrgute Waschmaschine). Die Terrasse mit dem Pool sieht auf den Bildern grösser aus als sie ist, ist aber auch so wunderbar:). Leider konnten wir den Whirlpool nicht heizen, obwohl dies grundsätzlich gemäss Aussagen des Vermieters möglich wäre. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und er hat auf all unsere Fragen sofort geantwortet. Die Firma, die mit der Reinigung beautragt ist, hat es mit der Reinigung nicht sehr genau genommen. Schade.

The house and location worked perfectly for our stay. David was a great host, quick to respond and very helpful. The property is spacious, clean, secure and smart. In a very quiet neighbourhood. Some of the cupboards and surfaces however could do with a little TLC from general wear and tear and there were not a lot of soft furnishings (rugs etc.). David provided clear instructions on how to use the pool and cooking facilities, some guidance for international travellers (like ourselves) on the bins outside, when the gardeners are coming and how to use the washing facilities would have been useful.

The property itself was lovely, natural stone throughout, giant floor to ceiling windows that let in lots of natural light. Felt privacy with tall/mature greenery and strategic fencing and window placement. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to restaurants shops and city attractions. We had our family Thanksgiving (4 adults 2 teens) and found the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub multiple nights. We had some issues with the master shower having no water available. We texted the host and were told it was slated to be repaired after the holiday weekend. Solution was to use shower in nearby bedroom. BTW, each bedroom had its own bathroom. The walk-in gate at the front of the property was missing a handle, so not useable. Entered and exited via the car gate. One non-operational blind in the downstairs bedroom, so it stayed open the whole time. Fortunately the property is very private, so felt okay leaving it open; it looks out to the pool/Jacuzzi area. There are a ton of remotes to operate the drapes, blinds, and TV. We highly recommend the host label the remotes. We counted 20 different remotes and previous guests had placed them in wrong rooms. In addition, there was a ipod with two main apps to control other house features. Host texted a couple of videos to explain how to use the apps. The host was responsive when we reached out to him AND he was very flexible about our checkin and checkout times.
