Just returned from 4 night stay at this cabin just outside of Acadia NP (2 adults, 3 teens). Very quiet area, away from the rest of the crowds, but less than 10 min drive from the Hull Cove entrance of the park, and less than 15 min drive to Bar Harbor. Cabin was exactly as described. Great to have the washer/dryer available ... allowed us to pack lighter. Beds were comfortable, and the fireplace heated up the place nicely on a couple of the cooler nights.

We stayed here for a long weekend in October with our 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) and my parents. Location was great, close to Bar Harbor but far enough to feel in the woods. Fireplace wasn’t working but owner responded quickly with extra space heaters for us.

We really enjoyed the big porch and looking out at the trees. The kitchen had nearly everything we needed. We appreciated the fans, given the hot and humid weather, and were grateful to be able to enjoy a fire in the outdoor firepit. The cleaning fee felt high, given the chores we were asked to do before leaving. Overall, a great spot for a family gathering.

I traveled with my husband and three daughters and our path led us to this cabin. It was the perfect spot for us to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our one night stay. Despite not having air conditioning, by opening the windows and keeping the fans on, we were all very comfortable. The communication with the owner was wonderful.

My family of 8 & 3 dogs loved this cabin! It's clean & well stocked & just as described. The teenagers enjoyed sleeping together in the loft area. The proximity to Bar Harbor & Acadia was perfect. We could go out & explore the area & head back to the cabin for lunch before heading out again. When we weren't out exploring we loved the large porch & fire pit. Host was great to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome place. Host was easy to communicate with and stay was awesome. Very convenient for families - they have baby/toddler crib and noisemaker which was very helpful. Would stay again for sure!

This is a great cabin! Great location to all things Acadia. I swear everything was 20-30 minute drive in all directions. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the covered porch and the AC unit. I only wish there was an additional table to eat at ( maybe even on the porch...) Its a bit tight in the kitchen, bumped up next to a table that only seats 4. Very private & I would stay here again!!

This cabin gives you all feels and vibes of staying near a National Park and is actually just around the corner from the entrance to Acadia National Park. It is a comfy and cozy cabin hidden from the road making you feel lost in the woods. It is clean, modernized, and organized to enjoy your stay in Maine. We used the outside fire pit one evening as well. Stay here...your family will LOVE it!

The cabin was very clean and is located close to the Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We enjoyed sitting on the deck while it was raining.

We had a wonderful weekend in Bar Harbor. The cabin felt quiet and private but also close to downtown and the park. The house was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The property could be nice if it was well maintained or equipped. We were sorry we extended our stay. We ended up getting another better cottage for our guests who joined for last 4 nights. It was half the price and lovely. Outside is dirty with cobwebs, rusted lights and filthy grill. Kitchen appliances are old, rusty and decrepit. Smells of mildew throughout. Fridge leaks water and has mold in doors. We went shopping to buy basics like glasses instead of drinking from jelly jars for 13 days. The bathroom with laundry is good. The price is ridiculous for what we got. We felt totally ripped off paying almost $10k.We took our trash and recycling to public facility rather than opening huge dumpster in front. This was the worst rental we ever had.

Adorable cabin nestled in woods on a steep incline. 5 and 2 year old enjoyed playing in the yard, on the porch and making s’mores in the fire pit. Kitchen is well equipped and living space was sufficient for 3 adults and two little ones. Sleeping arrangements ample with master bedroom, bathroom and laundry suite delightful. A 10 minute drive to Bar Harbor, but close to ice cream and mini golf for kids. We would stay here again. Erin is wonderful to work with!

We had a very nice time at the cabin. It was decently stocked and we thought the amenities were nice. The washer/dryer was great and the living area was very nice. Two things stuck out to me though - one is that the listing says this cabin sleeps 8. That's a stretch. It sleeps 6. 7 if someone sleeps on the couch. MAYBE 8 if you squish two kids into each bed in the loft area. But not 8 adults. Second, the older bathroom has mold on the ceiling that really needs to be cleaned. Maybe a strong interior fan would help, I'm not sure. Overall though, it was a nice property and we had a great time.

This little cabin was just what we needed. Close to everything but far enough away from the crowds to be peaceful and relaxing. I would do this again anytime I’m going to be in Bar Harbor.

We had a fabulous stay visiting Acadia & Bar Harbor for the first time with our group of 5 and this short term rental was close by everything which was perfect! The host was very responsive which was appreciated.

The cabin itself and the location worked out well but there were some issues. There were no keys left in the cabin so we had to continuously use the key lock box. Also, there were 2 rolls of bath tissue (for 4 adults and 2 children for 5 nights) and hardly enough laundry detergent to wash the towels at the end of our stay. The property manager never returned our call regarding the keys. Lastly, the dishes, glassware, and silverware could use an upgrade. We did enjoy our stay and with a few improvements would have given it a 5 star rating.

Got this as a surprise for my in-laws for Christmas since they used to family vacation here. We did typical sight seeing stuff. The house was perfect to hang out at after a long day. Even on a rainy day we were able to enjoy the rain fall on the deck and stay dry. House is exactly at described. Hosts very responsive albeit we had no issues, but day off did ask for an earlier check in. We were notified as soon as it was ready for it, that was very appreciated.

The property is ideally located if your trip in includes Acadia National Park. Bar Harbor is only 10-15 minutes down the road, so you can have your cake, and eat it to!

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect! It was an easy trip to anywhere on MDI which was awesome after a busy day to have an easy trip back to the cabin to relax. The setting was great. The cabin sits back in the woods so it has that remote, peaceful feeling but it is convenient to everything MDI has to offer. The cabin was as described and our family or 4 had plenty of space. Check in and check out were easy and Erin responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again for any future trips to MDI!
Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect! It was an easy trip to anywhere on MDI which was awesome after a busy day to have an easy trip back to the cabin to relax. The setting was great. The cabin sits back in the woods so it has that remote, peaceful feeling but it is convenient to everything MDI has to offer. The cabin was as described and our family or 4 had plenty of space. Check in and check out were easy and Erin responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again for any future trips to MDI!

We spent five nights in this wonderful cabin with our three teenagers. It’s in a perfect location, a short drive to Bar Harbor and an easy drive to both Sand Beach/Otter Cove and Bass Harbor sections of Acadia National Park. It’s a short walk to Salsbury Cove from the cabin, which is a lovely little cove offering charming views. The cabin is private and quiet, surrounded by pine trees. We enjoyed s’mores and hot dogs around the fire pit, and sitting outside on the deck enjoying nature. There’s a great miniature golf course (Pirate’s Cove) a two minute drive from the cabin, and an ice cream shop right across the street from golfing. Perfect for some fun family bonding time after a day exploring the park. The cabin was the perfect size for our family of five…big enough for each of the kids to carve out a space for themselves. We would definitely recommend this spot to families who want a prime “base camp” for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We traveled with two young kids and two active dogs and everyone had lots of fun just spending time at home. The location CAN'T BE BEAT! It is so close to the shops/restaurants in Bar Harbour (10 min drive) but far enough away to feel like you're isolated in the woods. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

This is a great cabin! Great location to all things Acadia. I swear everything was 20-30 minute drive in all directions. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the covered porch and the AC unit. I only wish there was an additional table to eat at ( maybe even on the porch...) Its a bit tight in the kitchen, bumped up next to a table that only seats 4. Very private & I would stay here again!!

This little cabin was just what we needed. Close to everything but far enough away from the crowds to be peaceful and relaxing. I would do this again anytime I’m going to be in Bar Harbor.

If you are looking to visit Acadia National Park and don't want to stay in a blah hotel this is the place. Quiet, secluded and minutes from Hulls Cove Entrance to Acadia. The Bar Harbor Lobster Pound is about a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. The best "House" lobster roll or 38 lobster bake you will find anywhere. Plus about a 15 minute drive from Bar Harbor (a bit touristy for me) but lots of great shopping. If you are brave enough do the "Beehive". One of the better VRBO's I have been to. If you like the rustic look with all the comforts of home stay here.

Great place with responsive host! It was a short distance from Acadia and we loved going into Bar Harbor for dinner and shopping. We would definitely rent again!
