We booked this spot as a place to stay with some old college friends in town for a concert. It was the perfect landing spot for the weekend, and we took full advantage of the deck, bbq, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Everything was super clean and easy to manage, and we really enjoyed the neighborhood too. We could walk easily to a grocery store, places to get breakfast or drinks and dinner. The view just a half block from the house is great, and you can walk down the street a few blocks and jump on the incline to get a lift down to the river. Great stay!

Everything was super clean and easy to manage, and we really enjoyed the neighborhood too. We could walk easily to a grocery store, places to get breakfast or drinks and dinner. The hosts and house were wonderful. Tony was very responsive and easy to reach. We loved sitting on the deck and drinking our coffee in the morning. Our only issue, and this is out of the owners’ control, is the motorcycle and “hotrod” noise lasting to 3-4 AM. Parking on Saturday night was an issue but Tony was easy to reach and we were able to get our questions resolved. We give the property and owners a 5. The behaviors of others - not so much

This was our second stay at this house and we loved it just as much as the first. You can’t beat the location- it is 1 block from the overlook with amazing early morning and evening views. It is a very short walk to Shiloh street for great restaurants and bars We recommend the coffee shop, Gordo’s tacos and Eggs and More. The house was perfect for our groups visit for Family Weekend at Pitt. Comfortable, clean, parking right at front, and easy access to the stadium, downtown and campus. We will be back again next year!

The location was great, and being able to walk a couple blocks to see the fireworks on July 4 was a lucky surprise. It was just a few steps to the main street and amazing panoramic views of the bridges, river, and skyline. This location is an older 3-story house, no central air, but the hosts had window air conditioners that were able to keep up fairly well even with daily highs in the low 90's. The beds were very comfortable, everyone in our traveling group loved them. We spent a lot of time on the deck; it has lots of seating, feels private, and has a big adjustable umbrella for shade. The hosts were extremely responsive; it rarely took more than a few minutes for them to answer questions. They were polite, positive, and very welcoming.The only negative experience was some late night drag racing beside the house. I brought this up to the hosts, they thanked me for the alert and passed it along to the local police. We would stay here again.

This property was perfect. It was a great location- close to the incline and scenic overlook, walking distance to a wonderful bakery and coffee shop! The property had plenty of towels, a fully stocked kitchen and several choices for coffeemakers:) it was very clean and the owners were kind and very responsive. We’ll definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mount Washington. It was a cool, historical home, but with modern updates throughout, including new renovations in the kitchen and bathroom. The property was clean and comfortable, conveniently located near restaurants and museums, and just steps away from an amazing view of downtown. The property owner, Tony, was very responsive to all our needs and questions. Would definitely stay there again!

This was our first time in Pittsburgh and this place turned out to be a fantastic home base for us! Close to the incline, Station Square and Shiloh Street restaurants with an unbelievable view just a block away. The house was clean and comfortable with ac units that kept the house cool. There were plenty of dishes and all we needed for basic cooking needs. Our favorite part was the porch and fenced in yard. It felt secluded when we wanted it to and convenient when we needed it to be. Nice, quiet neighborhood and designated street parking right next to the house. Tony also had great communication and was easy to get a hold of. We were very happy with our experience here!

Great property & owners! Nicely renovated home! Cute decor! Window A/C, Radiator heat -both worked great (we used both as it was 80 on Day 1 & 40 on Day 3). Comfy beds. 1/2 bath was nice on main level (more than 1 bathroom seems to be rare in the area). Stairs to 2nd & 3rd floor are narrow and somewhat steep but rail helps. Communication from booking to pre-stay, to check-in, during stay & after check-out was great! Location: 1 block to the overlook of downtown & rivers; 3 blocks from Shiloh Street restaurants; short drive just across river from downtown!

Location location location. This house was perfect for my family. Very clean and plenty of room for all of us. Walking distance to the incline which took us to Station Square and then the shuttle boat to the Pirates game. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We loved the historic home. Highly recommended!

Really nice place, clean and updated. Nice for family of 5 visit to local college. Plenty of room and the kids loved the 3 floors. Street was a bit busy the first night, a Friday, but quiet on Saturday. Not sure why so noisy the first night, perhaps a motorcycle convention or something. Location has great views a short walk away and a couple of restaurants 5 min walk. Not sure if it would be considered a good part of town or not but felt safe walking around during the day.

What a wonderful time! The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the house is clean, modern, and very comfortable. The beds and furniture are so comfortable! I took my wife and adult children to my hometown to attend their first Steelers game in Pittsburgh. The views are unbeatable and the incredible restaurants and shops are the Mom and Pop shops you can’t find anymore. We loved it! The only downside was the late night/early morning drag racing that sounded like a Fast & Furious movie.

The hosts and house were wonderful. Tony was very responsive and easy to reach. We loved sitting on the deck and drinking our coffee in the morning. Our only issue, and this is out of the owners’ control, is the motorcycle and “hotrod” noise lasting to 3-4 AM. From the start, Tony was incredibly responsive. When we first started looking to book a place for my daughter’s graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, we were concerned with our options because the graduation weekend also coincided with the marathon. We wanted to stay in the Mount Washington area and it's proxmity to Oakland. It was a gorgeous area with spectacular views of the entire city. It's nearby some of the top restaurants in Pittsburgh and walkable so some cool sites. The house was spotless. We enjoyed our stay. It is three floors, which wasn't initially clear to me. Fortunatly, since we brought my MIL, she was able to climb the first set of stairs. We put my son on the top floor, accessible by another flight. Tony could not have been nicer.

This was our first time visit to Pittsburgh and did not know anything about the city. Turns out, we could not have selected a better place. While the home is older (as are all the homes in the area), it appears to be well-maintained and is furnished very well. It is one block from the best view of Pittsburgh (i.e., Grandview) and a short walk from Shiloh Street (lots of bars, restaurants). We had a minor issue with the tub, but with a text to Tony, he was right on top of it and had his maintenance man there within an hour to fix it. The communication with the hosts was fantastic and they were very responsive. I would recommend the property to anyone traveling to Pittsburgh.

This property was perfect. It was a great location- close to the incline and scenic overlook, walking distance to a wonderful bakery and coffee shop! The property had plenty of towels, a fully stocked kitchen and several choices for coffeemakers:) it was very clean and the owners were kind and very responsive. We’ll definitely stay there again!

Location location location. This house was perfect for my family. Very clean and plenty of room for all of us. Walking distance to the incline which took us to Station Square and then the shuttle boat to the Pirates game. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We loved the historic home. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at this house and we loved it just as much as the first. You can’t beat the location- it is 1 block from the overlook with amazing early morning and evening views. It is a very short walk to Shiloh street for great restaurants and bars We recommend the coffee shop, Gordo’s tacos and Eggs and More. The house was perfect for our groups visit for Family Weekend at Pitt. Comfortable, clean, parking right at front, and easy access to the stadium, downtown and campus. We will be back again next year!

The location was great, and being able to walk a couple blocks to see the fireworks on July 4 was a lucky surprise. It was just a few steps to the main street and amazing panoramic views of the bridges, river, and skyline. This location is an older 3-story house, no central air, but the hosts had window air conditioners that were able to keep up fairly well even with daily highs in the low 90's. The beds were very comfortable, everyone in our traveling group loved them. We spent a lot of time on the deck; it has lots of seating, feels private, and has a big adjustable umbrella for shade. The hosts were extremely responsive; it rarely took more than a few minutes for them to answer questions. They were polite, positive, and very welcoming.The only negative experience was some late night drag racing beside the house. I brought this up to the hosts, they thanked me for the alert and passed it along to the local police. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mount Washington. It was a cool, historical home, but with modern updates throughout, including new renovations in the kitchen and bathroom. The property was clean and comfortable, conveniently located near restaurants and museums, and just steps away from an amazing view of downtown. The property owner, Tony, was very responsive to all our needs and questions. Would definitely stay there again!

I took my wife and adult children to my hometown to attend their first Steelers game in Pittsburgh. The views are unbeatable and the incredible restaurants and shops are the Mom and Pop shops you can’t find anymore. We loved it! The only downside was the late night/early morning drag racing that sounded like a Fast & Furious movie.

Andrea and Tony were super helpful with the check in process. The house was clean and everything was as expected and described. It met all of our needs, and the location was super convenient for both visiting Mount Washington and Station Square. We'd book this house again in a heartbeat.

This was a lovely home in Mt Washington. A short walk takes you to the incline, as well as the best possible view of Pittsburgh. The home was clean and well supplied, and our hosts responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this listing.

Lovely home in a great area of Pittsburgh I’ve never explored before. The area felt safe to walk around in at night and explore the beautiful views. Great area to walk around during the day also. Walkable to multiple restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery. About 10 minutes drive from Oakland on graduation weekend. Large, very well maintained and appointed older home in Mt. Washington. Everything was great! The house was large and felt very clean. The beds were comfortable with extra linens and blankets available. There was a large supply of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra paper products nicely displayed and easy to access. We didn’t use the outside grill but definitely sat outside at the patio table and enjoyed the sunshine. The hosts were very accommodating and answered promptly prior to arrival. We didn’t need them once we got there because everything we needed was there. This was by far the best Pittsburgh property I’ve ever stayed in!
