Sunset Lakehouse

Awesome getaway. kids loved it.

There are many positive things about this holiday home: (1) the property manager is very responsive and helpful(2) the check in process is simple - the digital lock takes a bit of learning on how to use but it offers a lot of convenience(3) although on a main road, the house is set back quite a bit from it so it is quiet. Noises mainly come from the birds and the wind rustling the leaves on the trees(4) security is good as there is a pretty high gate at the front entrance which keeps the place private and safe(5) as the other reviewers have comments, the place is clean and spacious. Pots and pans were in good condition and there were plenty of cutleries, plates and cups etc(6) the view of the lake was good(7) supermarkets were not far away and Lake Haven shopping centre is less than 10mins drive away. We are a group of 10 people and we had a relaxing time at this place despite the very wet weather during our whole stay. As it is a double storey house, do check with the managing agent about the internal stairs/steps if anyone in your group has mobility issues.

Some houses only give you a couple of things but this place had a good supply of everything. They even had handwash, cooking oil, coffee, sugar etc. The appliances were pretty new and there were most things you would need. The house itself was in a great location and away from the main road so you didn't hear the traffic. Would definitely stay again.
