Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square

This is an older hotel with a great location. If you are hoping for the Hyatt, keep looking. You are steps away from everything. It is quiet and comfortable. Business center and ice machine are on the mezzanine floor. The included breakfast is packaged pastries, juice and coffee. For management: I am in property management and pretty easy to get along with. The key is honesty. If the room I booked was no longer available- tell me that and I’ll pay the fair price but don’t try and pull the wool over my eyes. There are so many improvements that can be done with a low cost factor. Caulk the showers. Replace missing light shades. Clean the vents. Stop the tub from dripping. Put the refrigerator in the room without a request. You have a great location, and a great staff, add value to your asset. Do quarterly preventive maintenance. I hope to come to NY again and would definitely stay here.

Better, newer, more quiet than Millenium Broadway next door. Has lounge all time beverage. As Broadway Front Desk they dont have courtesy to admit that they dont have facility available but still charging facility fee to guests. Thankful for Hector's courtesy and helpful info.

Room was fine. I had to check-in at the neighboring Millennium Hotel because the front desk was closed. Somewhat confusing. The room came with a pathetic breakfast that was mostly pre-packaged baked goods and coffee from a partially working machine. There are basically no amenties at this hotel. Expedia shares blame for providing factually incorrect information. Expedia does not have the amenties (or lack thereof) accurate. Expedia also does not include the $40 per day fees in the price in their search results. With those added fees, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Millennium Premier on Thanksgiving Day 2024 and had an overall positive experience. The hotel’s location was excellent, allowing us to attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and conveniently store our luggage upon arrival. The front desk staff were exceptional, accommodating an early check-in at 12:30 PM instead of the standard 4:00 PM. This was greatly appreciated and made our day much easier. The hotel’s proximity to several attractions we had planned to visit made it an ideal choice for the day. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, there are a few areas for improvement. There was no vending machine or hotel shop to purchase water or snacks. The room did not have a mini fridge, which would have been a helpful amenity. The complimentary breakfast, served on the main floor, was limited to a grab-and-go selection (juice, coffee, fruit, pastries, etc). While sufficient, converting this space into a hotel shop could enhance the guest experience. One surprising aspect was the addition of a $40 “facility use fee” to our bill at checkout. This charge seemed unclear, especially since the hotel does not offer amenities like a gym or pool. Despite these minor concerns, we enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. Additionally, we highly recommend The Long Room, the restaurant across the street from the hotel, for a fantastic breakfast!

Check-in was quick and easy. The king room was a nice size. The bed was comfortable, four pillows were provided, would have liked for them to have been of different firmness. The bathroom is large, the shower unfortunately is small. The hotel itself is quiet but there is street noise. Especially the bicycle taxis. They play their music excessively loud. The location is really good. It's located in a block of 44th Street with several restaurants and pretty easy to walk to multiple places of interest. Certainly a great location within the Theater District. There is parking garage within the block that made it also convenient to park nearby. The hotel, is safe, clean and friendly staff. The room we were in was spacious, clean and comfortable. It could use some touch up work as wall seams were peeling in some areas. There is ample closet and drawers for clothing. There is an area with a coffee maker and ice bucket, but for some reason the hotel has chosen not to provide a refrigerator in the room, which there is space for it and should be a basic amenity for hotel of this type. The bathroom is large but the shower is small. Would have preferred a larger shower over the small shower and separate tub. The hotel provides a robe and house shoes if you desire to use them. They could also consider ensuring there are electrical outlets on each side of the bed. I had to crawl under the bed to access an outlet to charge my phone.

No bar or restaurant on site. It is next door. Great BBQ across street! They do not have the afternoon drinks and free hors d'oeuvres as advertised. Beds were comfortable room was nice.

Didn’t like how expensive parking was overnight

Its location was excellent. The rooms were a decent size along with the amenities provided. A restaurant or bar inside the hotel would have been nice. The continental breakfast provided was good and very helpful. However, a toaster for the bagels and seating would have been appreciated. All in all, I was very pleased with the hotel and would definitely recommend it and would stay there again in the future.

Some drawbacks that those who stay at this hotel will encounter are the following and it is important to consider them when paying, only one elevator works which is insufficient, it does not have breakfast, you only receive some snacks to eat in your room, the The furniture in the rooms is old, the cold water in the tub does not work, the heating does not work properly and they do not have competent maintenance personnel, the cleanliness of the rooms is bad, some days they do not change the towels and you have to request them. several times, but the good thing about the hotel is the location. The hotel can provide more and better service but it does not have the will or good leadership

There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel and the breakfast grab and go option is not good. There were also elevator issues. The things that were good are the hotel location the room and bed comfort and staff service.

One of the most unhygienic hotels I’ve ever stayed at. There’s black mold along the bathrooms, lime scale build up like I’ve never s seen. The staff are rude and make you feel like an inconvenience

The property was in a great location and the gym was very nice. The bathroom was not cleaned at all and there was either pubic hair or arm pit hair in the shower. There was hair behind the toilet, bathtub, and some liquid that was spilled. I had to literally clean the entire bathroom myself. The hotel did not have a mop to clean the floor. I used sanitizer wipes i got out the gym and cleaned the floor. They offered to switch rooms the next day but why would i switch to a room that the floors are not cleaned. If you don't have a mop for my room, you don't have a mop for anorher room so why move from a room i already sanitized. They only took off the resort fee and they lied about taking off the first night rate. Some of the staff was rude and could careless . There was only one person in management that tried to make it right the other 3 people did not care. The hotel does not have a microwave, and you have to request a refrigerator, that was broke.

Room was very worn Sheer Draperies were hanging off the rods in places and the carpets badly stained. The bed was comfortable and clean. We were grateful for that. I had hoped for a renovated room where wallpaper was not peeling. Oh well

Old dated room. Visible broken items (dresser), stains, dirty bathroom (hairs around toilet, visible dirt in shower), and old cheap towels (towels stiff, thin), push elevator button several times before working. So bad began to look for other hotels in the area. Will never stay again. Staff were kind and professional, and location great.

The room was disgusting. The bed was broken. The carpet was filthy. The couch was dirty. But the staff was nice.

Nice friendly staff and a clean hotel, rooms cleaned and beds made daily

First, they gave us a room that was not clean (thebathroom had urine on the toilet), and the light was not working. They changed the room for us (the new room was clean, even the bathroom, but there was an issue that we faced, which was that the AC unit was cold on the first day, then it was hot for the rest of the stay).

The bathroom in 321 needs updating. Tiles were cracked and very hard water stained and moldy

So, City view was a brick wall. Room had no way to plug into charge my phone, property description said there was a restaurant and bar, but there wasn’t. Excellent location, but not up to standard representated.

I thought my stay included a microwave and actual breakfast , not continental style. And the door was missing the lower kickplate so the room was cold from the outside air blowing in, also the bathroom toilet had stains on the back of the stool and the shower was quite small. And the curtains in the room were off the track in the corners and wall paper was coming up at the seams in areas ( near the bed closest to the door and near the sofa)smallin.tbreakfast. Property had an excellent location lovely big room with massive window we were next to the lift so could hear it sometimes but it was ok. It was exactly what we wanted I had seen negative reviews on the breakfast set up but we loved it. You can nip in fill your to-go bag and get coffee. We liked that we didn’t have to sit and dine we grabbed juice, pastries, yogurts, cereal etc and then we could walk around or head back to the room. Some people nipped down in jammies which was cute as jet lag can be brutal. Also the room windows opened! So we could get fresh cold air in the room, it can be hard to find windows that open in hotels. The location is amazing as we went to Bryant park/5th-6th ave a lot. I’d definitely book this location again I liked that it was quite a self serve hotel so staff were V friendly but left you alone. There was no lobby as such just the check in desk and a sofa so you could get straight to the lifts and back to your room. Our room needed a few repairs but it was spotless and spacious. We had a great stay.

Perfect location and can see the New Year’s Eve Ball from the window! The employees were all wonderful and accommodating. Housekeeping came right up with anything you needed. Packaged continental breakfast items, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee/espresso machine were convenient and a money saver. Bed was comfortable. Desk and molding could use some TLC. REALLY missed having a mini fridge! So inconvenient not to have cold drinks or be able to have leftovers. Overall good stay.

It's in a good location. It has the most spacious room and bathroom I have stayed in Manhattan. The heart of everything is in Times Square.

The location is just perfect. Right at Times square and well connected to subway and Port authority railway station. Many resturants around. Breakfast is a slef serve pick up, no in room dining. being summer, the Air condition was a problem from morning to afternoon, so better be outside :)

I was moved to another hotel, they had oversold the rooms.

They didn’t give me premier the switched me to broadway without asking

Room was nice. Everything was fine but the service. Front desk person upon checkout was rude. I was not sent a receipt upon checkout, I called and asked for one and it was not sent to my email. I called a second time and it still was not sent to my email. I should not have to ask for a copy of my receipt.

Check in was fine, most were kind but if you have a problem you get zero help. Our toilet wouldn’t stop flushing. We called six times in our five day stay. The guy came after the third call jiggled the toilet and said it is fine. Left and it started running yet again. Called three more times and they never came back though they said it’s on the list. They offered to switch our room on our last night but to little too late. Our door didn't close without brut force they had no refrigerators available, breakfast is not breakfast but corn muffins and coffee with string cheese (not what was advertised) and to top it all off on the third call it rang 14 times when a woman answered very abruptly then proceeded to yell at me telling me she said she’d get somebody there. When I asked are you mad at me, she replied I said I’d get somebody there. The mngr told me they would remove my daily hotel fees (not nightly room charges) of $300 then when the problem persisted after it was supposedly fixed (jiggled) I was told they would remove the $300. What did they remove the first time? Then when leaving the hotel a man was stuck in the elevator screaming to be let out. So personally you can tell me words all you want but actions speak louder. Will not stay again and cannot refer positively.

What a wonderful experience from the time I checked in with Monique to the time I have a little bit of a hiccup I decided to stay an extra day, and Elle, Jenny and Chirst all helped to expedite the reservation I made incorrectly. They all took over and helped me while I was able to continue on with my scheduled event. I came back from lunch and it was all taken care of. I really appreciate what they did...

There are actually two Millennium properties separated by a theater on W 44th Street. The Millenium Premier was quiet and elegant upon entering. Check in was a breeze. Security was more than sufficient with room keys needed to operate the elevators. The room was large by New York standards and spotless. I had a room at the back of the hotel so it was very quiet. There was a soaking tub and a separate shower. A hand held wand would be a nice upgrade from the standard shower head. Overall, great experience!

Amazing location . The staff is exceptional. Thank you Monique for making our trip to New York so incredible and memorable. Highly recommend!

The hotel was nice and staff was attentive

I understood that check-in was at 4pm, but I was scheduled to arrive at 1pm and leave my luggage at the front desk. However, the woman at the front desk said, ``The porter isn't here at the moment because he is having lunch. Check-in is at 4 o'clock.'' At a loss as to what I should do, I asked again about my luggage, and she yelled, “The porter is not here. That's what I said!" In the end, she got angry and said, ``I'll take care of the early check-in procedures!'' and she did so. She went to look in the small room to see if there was a place to store my luggage, but she didn't try or say anything else. Deciding that we didn't want to talk to her any further, we decided that a nearby hotel in the same group would do something about it, so we carried our luggage and went to the hotel's porter. Whether the porter is at lunch is a matter for the hotel.I was shocked that we, as guests, were not able to receive the service that we normally receive at any hotel, such as having our luggage stored. Later, when I saw the front desk staff smiling and talking with other customers, I wondered, ``Did they treat me like that because I'm Japanese?'' and I felt sad. There were no other issues with the cleanliness of the room, the friendliness of the cleaning staff, the breakfast at the hotel, etc., but her words and actions.

Check in should have been 4pm, flight from UK 4am and took this into account. When checking in our rooms weren’t ready until 9:30pm very tired and disappointed won’t be booking again

Incredibly convenient to everything in the city.

Smooth cleck in. Love how we were right on time square. Easy access to trains and shopping store. Love the city view. Will definitely be back again.

Excellent location near theaters. Walkable to restaurants, Rockefeller Plaza, Grand Central Station. Clean, quiet room. Minimal takeaway breakfast was provided.

The hotel was nice. The staff was excellent, very nice and professional! The room itself was large for a downtown NY hotel and the location is excellent! Right in Times Square and very close to the Port Authority bus depot. The breakfast was a bit lame but it comes with the room so at least you aren’t paying extra for it. I would have liked a fridge in my room and I did put a note on my reservation for one (you cannot reserve in advance) but when I got there they told me if I wanted a fridge I’d have to move to a queen room which I did not want. So no fridge. I’m not sure if any king rooms have fridges or not. I was under the impression that they were portable. All in all the hotel was nice and I would likely stay there again.

The Hotel was very comfortable and quiet. Very convenient location. However, I do not recommend including breakfast in your booking. The breakfast provided was prepackaged grab-and-go items, and it was not worth it.

Excellent location, quiet, good lift service!, clean and spacious rooms. The “continental breakfast” was sadly nothing of the sort. Not a croissant in site. Pre-packed muffins and filled rolls of dubious quality etc. There was no seating so it was grab and go. Very misleading

Stayed one night very clean and smelled really fresh in the hall way front desk very friendly and polite. Breakfast if you want to call it that was more of a grab and go coffee, pastries, fruit no seating just take it and leave lol.

Nice hotel, professional staff «  except one rude lady at the reception when I did the check in ». The room was warm, it’s not my first time in this hotel i feel comfortable there overall, just if they serve the breakfast as the normal hotels, because it’s very limited in the choices and more sweet and carbs and they ask you to take what you need and put it in a bag and go, it was one of the Covid time restrictions and it’s still there, which is not convenient for a 4 stars hotel in nyc.

The advertised breakfast is nothing but granola bars and danish in packages. Not what we expected and disappointed that we paid extra for that. Come on, Covid excuse is getting thin 4 years later!!! Hotel is centrally located to all highlights and very convenient for walking everywhere. Just no frills. Very basic

There was no fridge in the room which was unfortunate since there were tons of places to buy novelty foods/pastries. We ended up stacking our foods in the window sill in attempts to keep them cool. While the room had a nice deep tub, the faucet spit out a ton of hard water debris and the water was green. Probably due to old copper piping. There was a shower also but the shower stall was very small and the shower head was terrible. Complimentary breakfast was just single packaged muffins, danish, some cereal, and fruit. Nothing hot except coffee. There was no where to sit to eat so you have to bring your food back to your room. They do offer a bag check before you are able to check in at 4:00pm which is very helpful! Beds in the room are comfortable but you will hear all of the noises from broadway ave and surrounding areas. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by. Hotel is within walking distance of all the sights we wanted to see. There are plenty of shows in the immediate area as well!
