Great location, within walking distance of the Twillingate Theatre. Spacious home, great for 2 couples. Awesome views from the deck, sadly the weather did not permit use of the fire pit. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, as we cooked a few meals. Great to have laundry facilities. We really enjoyed the retro atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Poppy Joe's!

Apart from being an excellent location, the house had many useful amenities. Having a washer/ dryer was much appreciated, as was having laundry soap available. The well stocked kitchen was also a big plus.

Beautifully furnished, well located house. Stairs a little steep, especially with bathroom on first floor but not a problem for us. Nice firepit, free washer and dryer and fully furnished kitchen made this a great stay.

Poppy Joe's was incredible. When we come back to this area we will absolutely look to stay here again. The location was perfect. A quiet and peaceful spot overlooking the bay, yet just a 5-10 minute walk into Twillingate. The place is perfect for 2 couples or a family of four (if the kids don't mind sleeping in the same bed). We have teenagers so one of them slept on the couch which was perfectly fine. It has everything you need and then some. They thought of everything when outfitting the house. Everything we needed we found. The record player was such a cool touch and had the teenagers enthralled. The outdoor fire place was amazing. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you and see you again!

Perfect place in Twillingate spotless well stocked comfortable and a spectacular view over the bay. We even got to see Wales surfacing one afternoon while we were sitting on the deck. would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Twillingate.

Cozy and well equipped. We were out exploring most days and just had breakfast and coffee there but the last night we got ingredients at the local grocery store and used the BBQ to have our evening meal. That way we could do our laundry, pack and enjoy a glass of wine while playing cards to unwind from our day of hiking.

My husband and I loved staying at Poppy Joe's! It was extremely clean, nicely decorated, and in a quiet area! It had a nice view of the ocean from the house, and a great view outside from both the front deck and the fire pit! We spent a sunny, few hours on the front deck one afternoon! It was just a very short walk into town. We would definitely stay at Poppy Joe's again and would love to go back!

As soon as you enter the decor and coziness gives you such a great feeling of oh yes this is for me. If we could have booked this for a longer time we would have. We watched right from our front deck two small boats setting their crab or lobster traps. We loved our stay.

We enjoyex our stay to the fullest, everythjng you could need was there, just show up with your cloths, food and beverages. If you are tall watch your bobber, espucally on the ceiling fan. I enjoyed playing and listening to the records provided. Its in a great location for walking to restaurants or pubs and for seeing the sights.

Perfect little salt box cottage well decorated and clean Everything you need for a vacation. Our only complaint was the low ceilings, being 6-3 and my son 6-5 we had to duck alot,. Fantastic area to visit but we are at the end of the season and a lot of things were closed. But who can complain with the fantastic setting.

My sister and I are seniors. I neglected to ask about location of bathroom when booking. Having bedrooms upstairs and only bathroom on first floor with steep stairs made the stay a little challenging for us. Overall it is a great location and extremely clean and easy access. Thank you.

We wish we could’ve stayed another night. It’s a cute place with everything we needed and some personality to boot. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great - two important things in a vacation rental. The view is lovely and we walked to dinner easily. It was really quiet and cozy and we would recommend it.

Our stay in this quaint retro designed home right on the ocean was so lovely. We were within walking distance to the town centre and a short driving distance to all of the hikes in the area and the lighthouse. We were able to go to the last dinner theatre of the season and saw our most beautiful sunset during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Twillingate.

We were really happy with this lovely Twillingate home with really warm character. The location was fantastic, as we could walk to the grocery store or across the street to the water. We were thrilled to arrive on our iceberg expedition, to see an iceberg right out front of our rental! The house was excellent; a very well thought out and a well taken care of character home. The host was very attentive and available to answer any questions, though we didn't have any issues to be managed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
