Lupinfield Cottage - a Curated Guesthouse Experience

If I could leave more than 5 stars we would! It’s a 10 for sure!We felt so welcomed by Charlie from the start to check out. He’s an amazing host. He filled us in on all the history of the cottage and showed us everything we needed to know to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Even had homemade scones and blueberry jam for us! His tips for what to do and what to see made visiting Twillingate a great experience. The restored cottage retains much of its rustic charm and offers a beautifully authentic glimpse into the areas past. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay is there. I’m truly going to miss the view from the front window. Sitting in a cozy chair enjoying my morning coffee and looking out over the harbour a perfect way to start my day.Hoping to return again soon!

We have never felt more welcome … the greeting and tour by the owner, the beautiful heritage cottage, the lighting, the fireplace, the fresh baking and jam, the coffee, the fresh real cut flowers from the garden, the fine detail/embroidery in the linens, the beautifully decorated bathroom. Charlie has created a peaceful oasis in a beautiful setting. Every morning I was never tired of the view of the little cove we were on. Charlie and Nancy have thought of everything and more. From freshly ground coffee on arrival to a beautifully appointed living room to beds made with the most comfortable sheets and pillows. Lupienfield cottage is a walk back in time. Each room tells a story. The finishings are fabulous. Staying in Charlie’s home was an experience that I will treasure. I would highly recommend this cottage for your stay in the Twillingate area. Charlie met us upon arrival and was available any time for assistance.

Extraordinaire bienvenue de la part du propriétaire. Maison 5*, équipée selon l’annonce et même plus. Le propriétaire était super bien résauté pour les visites des icebergs et les sentiers dans les environs. Merci beaucoup à Charlie, pour sa bienveillance, ses bons conseils et générosité !

Beautifully renovated character home in an excellent location. Charlie was a great host. We had a wonderful time, so much to see and appreciate.
