The Dunes Hideaway-Walk to Beach!

Great location for our trip with a party of 4. The house had everything we needed, and Janna was easy to contact and take care of any needs. We took a fun little gondola ride at channel island harbor less than an 10 minute drive from the place, and would definitely recommend it. Ask for Mark at Gondola Paradiso! Dunes Hideaway was a great place to stay!

We had a very nice stay. Took a couple of day trips to go hiking and had a great comfy place to come back to each evening. We walked to the beach early one morning where our son proposed to his girlfriend!

We arrived to a warm and inviting home. While it was bigger than we expected as there were just two of us it had everything we needed for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Quiet neighborhood, and Close to the beach which is what we really wanted. Easy access and communication with owners. Highly recommend.

Nice neighborhood and comfortable accommodations. Barbecue grill and fire pit need a little attention, but overall a nice time.

The house is well-laid out and works well as a base for family dining, entertainment and sleeping. The beach is 100 meters away across a busy road, but it's a great sandy expanse and worth the short walk. Plenty of places to eat and shop within a 15-minute drive. There's not much going on in Oxnard, but the location is close to more scenic spots such as Ojai and Santa Barbara.
