BayView Retreat w/ Waterfall and Beach Access

Absolutely beautiful place! Loved to sit out by the waterfall.

Loved watching the deer wander through the orchard and kayaking from the beach. Saw seals as we kayaked. The portable air conditioner isn't super powerful so I imagine it could get warm in the summer but we opened a couple of windows at night and that really cooled off the house. We loved our stay and would book this place again.

Wonderful and private, this house had plenty of room and everything we needed.

I am so sad to be leaving. This was truly a dream vacation and we will be back. This beautiful, clean and well supplied home is nestled in the trees (almost feels like a tree house because you see them from every window). The primary bedroom has a beautiful view of the trees and and the water over the top of the very pretty house below. There was plenty of provancy despite three other homes down the driveway. The walk to the beach is short but yes it is steep. There is a fabulous rope swing on the beach. We took our coffee down and sat in the Adirondack chairs looking at the water and the passing boats. We had a guard goose (and sometimes a friend) go let us know that we were trespassing on their property and it made us laugh every time they hissed at us (as they were walking away). We saw several black tail deer and babies as well. The flowers were blooming and the waterfall and pond by the house was calming and beautiful. The location was perfect for a drive to Poulsbo (maybe the cutest town around) the ferry to Seattle is a reasonable distance. Our contacts were responsive to questions. This was a great visit and I daydream about being back there.
