Econo Lodge Cornersville I-65

First off, this stay was on a Sunday evening for 1 night. Sundays usually are a cheaper evening than say a Friday or Saturday. Over 100.00 for a king bed. The room was dirty. The bed was terrible and the shower was very small. No microwave. Asked for an ice bucket amd ice since the ice machine was busted. After the ice had melted, there was dirt and hair in the melted water. Tbh, the only reason we stayed was because of the truck parking in the rear. We have a service animal as well. I feel that we were given a bad room at the end, on the otherside of the motel. The breakfast was coffee and stail muffens. This place has potential to be a nice spot. Clearly the owners are money hungry and cheap.

The ice machine didn't work and the motel was in a very small but very safe place with only a McDonalds, a Subway and a convenience store with food. Since the motel was fully booked, the front desk was unoccupied and I couldn't obtain a receipt when I checked out. The walls were thin and I could hear conversations in adjoining rooms.

We have been using this motel as a midway stop on our regular trips to visit family in Alabama. Over the years, we have witnessed a steady decline in the property. The breakfast never returned after the pandemic and frequently items in the room were broken or did not work. This will be our last stay. The ice machine was not working and the toilet stopped up. So disappointed to need to make this decision.

The bathtub is dirty. One bed has a bedspread that is stained and dirty. The other bed just has sheets. The pool is not open. I don’t know if there’s breakfast or not in the morning or even coffee if I was not so tired I would have never stayed here I would’ve went on, I don’t think I would use your company anymore to find a place you should not rent places like this to people. I know it’s only about $100 but it is not worth $100 not even worth 50.

Toilet did not work, bathtub was nasty. Parking was good for a semi truck, quiet and safe place to stay.

Pool not operational. No breakfast. Washer dryer area barely worked. Ice machine out of order. It did have working fridge and TV.

Very disappointed! The air conditioning was not turned on prior to our arrival with the outside temps tire at 96 degrees. There was plenty of time for this , check in is at 3pm.. and I called the motel to let them know I wouldn’t be checking in until 1130pm. It is advertised as continental breakfast, upon arrival there was a letter posted in the office that stated “We do not serve breakfast, but there is coffe in your room.’ Even the binder in the room with info in it stated they served breakfast from 6am til 9pm. The main reason why I booked the hotel was because it has a outdoor swimming pool, there was also a sign in the office ‘Our swimming pool is unavailable at this time.’ I reserved 2 nights, arrived at 1130pm the first night and the next morning housekeeping knocked on the door at 11am (which is check out time) I told them ‘No thank you, we just got in last night’ Not even 15 minutes later a staff member came banging on the door asking if we were going to check out. I told him No we payed for a 2 night stay, and he demanded for me to call the front desk. After telling him I am getting ready for a wedding at the moment, I will have to do so later… he stood with his foot in the door and called the front desk himself. They finally agreed I payed for 2 nights. Left to go to the wedding, came back to motel and my key card did not work! Had to walk up to the office to get it situated. I would of rather paid the price for a 5 star hotel then be let down again by this place

The bathtub didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Soap scum and dirt in it.

Negative: I found two crawling roaches within 5 mins of walking into the room. Would not stay here again. Positive: It was quiet around area.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities looked nice and well maintained on the outside. Once inside the room, the beds and the furniture looked well kept and clean meanwhile the sink had a deep and giant crack that looked hastily repaired and other furnishings could be seen missing from the wall. The bathroom door on the inside of the bathroom had black mold that could have passed as rub marks until you looked up and saw plenty of black mold on the ceiling. The shower/bath tub was dirty and hastily cleaned with small spots that were the original color of the plastic and there was a hole on the side patched with duck tape. This was specifically the room I was given for the night. The black mold terrified me as I noticed it in the early morning hours and the amount of black mold that was present could have made me sick as well as my dog I was traveling with.

The toilet wasn't secure on the floor. Toilet seat only bolted on one side. Shower looked filthy and didn't drain. Bed sheets were questionable. Towels were stiff and scratchy. No breakfast like stated on the internet. Thankfully we were only there for 1 night.

Our room was disgusting. The blankets and sheets had huge stains and holes all over in them. We were only provided 1 roll of toilet paper. The headboards of the beds were all greasy and gross. Worst of all the toilet had pee all over the front of it and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. The bath tub had feces smeared all over the side of it which i had to clean up myself. I wanted to complain in the morning but there was nobody at the desk, only a window to put the key card in for check out. Horrible experience and my kids were grossed out. For $120 we shouldve had a clean room that we weren't scared take our shoes off in or scared to sleep in the beds.

We had a non smoking room but there was burn holes all over the bedding. When we woke up the next morning we found not one but two bed bugs crawling on the bed. The doors to the bathroom and bathroom walls had drips on them that hadn’t been wiped or cleaned up. There was a left over McDonalds bag in the microwave that did not belong to us and the people next door kept banging on our wall then they had the audacity to call and give US a noise complaint we were just watching videos on our phones. After the second bang on the wall we knocked back and the banged back at us once more not even 20 seconds later we got a call from the desk saying that we were being loud and to keep it down. Bc of all the other issues and me not being super confrontational I just said okay and went on with my night but it was really upsetting

There were three positives and many negatives. The refrigerator and toilet worked and the TV was functional with reasonable choices. The bed was average. The bathroom sink was cracked, to the point of actual fracture, presenting a possible health hazard. No information about the Wi-Fi in the hand book, so we attempted to call the front desk for the Wi-Fi password and guess what - the phone did not work. We didn’t even try the microwave because the glass in the door had fallen out of place. The room was reasonably clean; yet the linens and towels were thinning and graying …. all of this dysfunction and disrepair was really disappointing. This is a very old hotel and super noisy at night due to close traffic & very thin walls. we hope the owners well take note of the reparable factors, for future customers comfort.

No complaints, great value for the price. One room-burned out light bulb in bathroom, and tub's permanent no-slip mat had stains that made it look dirty, plus part of cosmetic covering for heater broken off---heater worked great, but would have been a problem if there had been small children in the room. Third room (most expensive)--tub was dirty (a few hairs, shampoo/soap on floor of tub, some grime on outside of tub), also "permanent" no slip mat on floor of tub was half off, with water trapped underneath. Soap dish on sink counter had dried soap residue. A few surfaces (dresser top, tray beside sink, etc) had some crumbs or dust that was not cleaned off even the second day. Mini fridge worked, but no freezer space, and top shelf froze our food. Microwave worked, but about half the buttons did not work. Checked out at 9 AM on Sunday, and no one was in the front office (locked, with just a key drop) so we could not tell them even about the burned out light bulb. But it was quiet, and convenient location. I would stay there again, but will try hard to reserve early and arrive early so that we get the better room!

It was too close to x-way heard semis downshifting & giving it gas all night long!! Heating system & loud fan turning on & off all night long!! IMPOSSIBLE to SLEEP!!

The night clerk moved us to a non smoking room, since i accidentally booked a smoking room. The mattress was very comfortable. There was no breakfast at all. The lobby was locked at 8am. So we picked breakfast up at Bucce down the highway. Price was good.

Room needs updated/remodel. Uncomfortable pillows and mattress. Bathtub needs repaired.

We weren’t real sure about this choice when we first arrived and had based our choice on others reviews and price. We were skeptical when we saw the property but we were greeted by kind staff and the room itself was better than we anticipated.

Easy check in. Vary simple hotel. Needs up dates. Especially bathroom.

Look like they are trying to fix it up, but the beds are terrible. Linens, towels, and pillows are so old and overused they are no longer white, or look clean even though they have been washed. Nothing else in area so they kinda have you at their will unfortunately

Staff needs training concerning Service Animals. It is illegal to ask for the ID/proof of a service dog and yet they requested me to provide the documentation. You may only ask what service the dog provides. Get trained or get sued!

We booked because the stay included breakfast. Upon check in, we were told there is NO included breakfast. Expedia means no cancellation, and that means we are paying for something we did not receive. I won’t consider showering here. Saw a bug on the ceiling.
