Beachfront Home with Sound View on Camano Island

Host was unusually available and helpful. Kitchen was very well equipped. My only suggestion for improvement would be better photographs on the VRBO site because the current ones don’t do the house justice

Location is unbeatable. We loved watching all the wildlife right from the house! We saw several pods of orcas, tons of seal sightings, an otter, and lots of birds. Storm watching was well enjoyed with the wood stove and large windows. Place is clean, beds are comfortable, lots of thoughtful touches, well-stocked. Great rental!!

Going in we knew we would be on the beach on the SE side of Camano Island. That hardly begins to describe the fabulous beach bungalow/palace. The house was immaculate. The bedrooms all have great beach views. The kitchen is very well equipped and laid out. Having a fireplace/woodstove in the sun room added a special ambiance on the first October night as we were getting the house warmed up. We had a high high tide and stiff breeze out of the SSE the first afternoon. The whitecaps were rolling and the dragon sized driftwood logs went parading by. During low tides we walked on the beach. The kids hunted shells and skipped rocks. When the winds calmed we launched kayaks and explored up and down the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Next time we'll bring a couple cans of cat food and set some crab pots.
