It states pet friendly….The only thing I wished was that there was a grass area for pets to go potty instead of all the rocks. If you walk them up the driveway to the front, I know there is grass there.

The Shell Cottage was excellent!! We really enjoyed our stay. Checkin was easy, we loved that we had access to bicycles. We got a chance to meet Robin, and her husband. Forgive I forget your husbands name. We loved our stay at your cottage, and chatting with you about spots to checkout in Beaufort. We are looking to our next visit to your cottage, and Beaufort.

House was compact, clean and fully equipped for preparing meals. While it has a convertible sofa in addition to the queen size bed, we found it perfectly suited for a couple. Well-located for walking to any of the waterfront shops and restaurants, and tucked back from the street, making it quiet and private. There is a pleasant outdoor shared space with the cottage next door, complete with grill and tables.

Comfortable little cottage within walking distance to everything Beaufort has to offer. It was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill and patio area and the bikes to cruz around town. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in town.

My husband and I stayed at the Shell Cottage while attending the Beaufort Music Festival. The cottage was in the perfect location for us to ride our bikes and/or walk back and forth to the festival!!! We also really enjoyed the quick walk to Front Street shops. We will definitely stay at the Shell Cottage again.

We had a very nice stay in the Shell Cottage. It was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, a nice living room area, and comfortable bed and linens. It was a short walk (~5 minutes) from the historic downtown shops and restaurants which made it very easy to get around and visit Beaufort. The Shell cottage is dog friendly and we had plenty of room to set up our dog's crate in the main living space for sleeping. There is no place immediately around the cottage for a dog to potty, but there is a park directly across the street which made it easy to have the dog with us. We didn't realize this cottage was part of a compound of several other cottages that all shared a driveway and are positioned close together, so we were a little surprised upon arrival and felt a little lack of privacy while the other guests were also outside their units. For example - the chairs outside the units are situated on the shared driveway in more of a communal format rather than a more private individual stay. That said, all guests were very friendly and respectful. (If you have a group traveling to Beaufort this could be a really fun opportunity to have multiple people in your party all stay on the property in the various cottages!) Overall - we would recommend this little spot if you're going into Beaufort! It's casual, clean, has everything you need, and is conveniently located.

Went for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay. Very cute cottage and close to downtown which was nice. For the most part it was clean and well kept. Our only issue however was the shower looked like it was missed and not cleaned before our stay. Other than that we had a great time.

We had a very nice weekend in this cottage. The walk to downtown was very pleasant and close. The cottage was clean and as advertised. I appreciated the efficient communication for the check-in process. We did not have any issues so no need to reach out for any concerns but an emergency number was given to us in case we did. I would definitely consider staying here again if we revisit.

I had communicated with the owner prior to booking, and Robin was incredible! She promptly emailed me local favorite restaurants and others, things to do, places to see…I felt very safe in the neighborhood which was a convenient 2 blocks from Front Street(where most all of the shops and eateries are located). This cottage is well equipped and plenty roomy enough for a couple. I want to return! Beaufort offered such peace and the entire community was so friendly!

Nice cozy cottage - just what we were looking for. The courthouse is just across the street with a nice park and farmer’s market on Saturday so it was easy to take our dog out for a walk. There are a couple of coffee shops within two blocks towards town and great for breakfast. We love Beaufort and this is our third trip to town she loves all the nice shops and he really enjoys the history. Quiet and peaceful.

This unit was smaller but had more than enough room for two comfortably. Well stocked and comfy. We loved the location (two blocks from the water) and the farmers market across the street on Saturday was an unexpected surprise. Owners were easily contacted and offered great suggestions for dining and sights to see. We will be back here again!

My fiance' and I were unfortunately unable to utilize this beautiful property for our winter getaway. We got COVID the day before we were supposed to arrive. I contacted Robin to let her know and to ensure the house was safe and locked up. She returned our deposit even though we were way past her having to do this. Her kindness and generosity meant so much to us. My fiance' and I were unfortunately unable to utilize this beautiful property for our winter getaway. We got COVID the day before we were supposed to arrive. I contacted Robin to let her know and to ensure the house was safe and locked up. She returned our deposit even though we were way past her having to do this. Her kindness and generosity meant so much to us. We look forward to rebooting for a spring trip and hopefully will get to enjoy the Beautiful town of Beaufort while staying at an adorable cottage managed by a truly caring individual. We absolutely loved our stay at Shell and are looking forward to our return next year. The location was just perfect and with all of the surrounding food, shopping and sites, we could walk everywhere and enjoy. The cottage was clean, the bed fantastic and Robin was so nice to work with. Thanks for making it a great one

This is tge third time we've stayed at this cottage and every time is as good as the last! We love the location - the waterfront with shopping and restaurants is only 3 short blocks away. And the area around the cottage is very quiet at night. Love it!

My husband and I stayed at the Shell Cottage while attending the Beaufort Music Festival. The cottage was in the perfect location for us to ride our bikes and/or walk back and forth to the festival!!! We also really enjoyed the quick walk to Front Street shops. We will definitely stay at the Shell Cottage again.

Shell Cottage was perfect for me and my dog! It was clean, cozy, and conveniently close to the waterfront. The neighborhood was peaceful and charming, making our morning and evening walks a delight. I loved exploring the nearby coffee shops and restaurants, and I even discovered some fantastic spots for photographing birds, including a small cove on Town Creek visited by a Great Egret. I’ll definitely be back!

As described but cleaner and with a good sense of "new" to it. Comfortable bed (on the soft-but-supportive side of comfortable), hosts very responsive and even called me midday the day after check-in to be sure everything was OK, great location (farmers/craft market every Saturday right across the street but far enough away that you can't hear it). Very nice, would definitely stay there again if coming to this area.
