Wayside Cottage 1637

Lovely garden with good view and very secure for the dog. Cottage was warm and well equipped. Powerful shower. Good WiFi.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the cottage. It was very well taken care of and equipped with everything we might need for our stay and any information we needed about the area was provided in advance. Emiko, the host, was also super responsive when we needed assistance. We would definitely recommend staying at Wayside!

The self check in was so easy, discovering the different rooms in the cottage. Great fun. We really enjoyed the thought given to the cottages style and comfort

Having two fires is a real luxury. Eating breakfast in the spacious dining room with the wood burner warming the space was amazing each morning. The living room with an open fire is perfect for cosy evenings. The quality of furnishings from the sofa’s down to the bedding has a feel of luxury. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a get away in beautiful surroundings.

This was our 2nd visit to the Wayside and Whiskey Barn and it did not disappoint. There’s always a risk that a 2nd trip might not live up to the memories, but this wasnt the case. Emiko is a real gem as a B & B owner. Every aspect of our stay surpassed our expectations. The room ( Buttermere ) MORE than lived up to our hopes. Spotlessly clean, a wonderful window-seat over looking the mountains. The bed was THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom & toiletries both glorious.
