Parkview House on the River

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Parker House. It is a beautiful property, very clean, comfortable and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent.

A beautiful spacious century-old home with an large and inviting front porch facing a park along the Muskingum River. The home retains most of its original character with gorgeous woodwork, cut glass windows and lighting features. The kitchen is older and small, but adequate for preparing breakfast and lunch meals.Terrific property owner and friendly neighbors. Walking distance to town for shopping, restaurants and historical sites.

This is a wonderful, large, old house just a block from downtown Marietta and is also close to Marietta College and the city's historic district. The interior is incredibly spacious with amazing woodwork and other details throughout, and the furniture and bedding are very comfortable. One thing to note is that if you plan to cook (which we did not), the kitchen is somewhat limited. But in every other respect, it's just a perfect place, and we plan to return.
