Ignore the bad reviews. This is a cool retro motel style place. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great location and a welcoming friendly staff. Nice bar in the lobby. I will stay again when in Pendleton.

Staff were very nice. Expedia messed up my reservation but the hotel manager Angela took care of us and Krista at the bar/front desk was very nice as well.

The Hotel Pendleton was a cozy and comfortable stay. The bed was nice and the shower hot. The parking underground was perfect, but the height limit is 6’3” The location is great and within walking distance to many local restaurants, shops, bars. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Amazing little find in Pendleton. We drove our lives from Houston to Portland and found this town as the last stay to get as close as we can to Portland from Salt Lake City. We could street park our Uhaul and F150 truck for free which was a bonus and most importantly it was safe! The hotel motel had really nice upgrades that made it feel comfy and clean. And in a walkable distance was the downtown with lovely options for food. Restaurants close around 8 so make sure you get there early!

Old building but everything is updated. Staff were awesome. Bar is really nice. You are in the heart of downtown Pendleton within walking distance to all kinds of dining and shopping. For the price it is excellent.

We (me, Trophy Husband) just needed a place to stay on our road trip and I picked this based on price and some decent reviews. Pros: Andrea (I believe thats her name) was wonderful! She put us in a quiet room in the far corner so my husband could nap off a migraine. That little human touch means the world to me. Thank you! The rooms appear updated and were clean/fresh. The bed was comfortable and the AC was ice cold. There's a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room as well. Parking is right in front of your room. A small complimentary continental breakfast is available to get travelers going. The price was very reasonable. Cons: Parking is tight, especially if you're in a full size truck like us. Worth considering: The hotel is downtown off a one way street so it takes an effort to find it. If you're looking to just pull off the interstate, this place might not meet your needs.

We got into the shower only to discover that there were no towels in the room! Not a single one. Not in the cupboards or closets or anywhere to be seen. What negligence! I'd never see here again.

The room was newly renovated but the overall property needs a lot of work! Its was in very disrepair. The area in general is right diwntown and there are a lot of homeless and transients around at all hours. The room appeared decent. New contemporary renovation. Very litte thought into the amenities. The microwave and fridge were stacked next to the sink. The phone is a corded phone mounted on the wall opposite of the bed and too far from the desk. There is no iron or ironing board, no hair dryer, and no coffee maker. No cable tv. It was internet tv provided and im not a you tube person. Lastly, the floor was sticky and when i wiped it with a towel the towel was black! The floors apparently need a very good mopping!

This was a very nice property overall. Loved that breakfast was included. Complaints: Tub faucet would spew out brown. No hot water for the shower. Dirty, dirty floor that would turn your feet and shoes black.

I was honestly surprised. From the outside it did not look like much, a very old motel. We got into our room and it looked to be remodeled in the last 2 or 3 years. It was clean, comfortable and quiet.

The hotel is clean with spacious rooms and a nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable for me, but a bit firm for my husband. The only thing we didn't like was the crinkly, waterproof mattress pad. It crinkled when you turned over and made the bed hot because it doesn't "breathe".

The design of this hotel is trendy and playful with a minimalist style and everything you need. Plenty of restaurants in the area including local breweries and a steakhouse within walking distance. The town is fantastic and so fun to walk around in, and the hotel is right in the middle of all the action! Some warnings….if you are disabled, make sure to let the hotel know as the first floor seems to fill up and the stairs are difficult with suitcases for those with mobility issues. No elevator. Additionally, if you have a room near the stairs, it can be a bit loud.

Motel-style right in the heart of Pendleton. Check-in desk is literally at a bar, but bartender was nice and the room was comfortable and clean. A/C was loud but worked well.

It's very "bare bones". A couple of lumpy pillows on a King size bed, one chair, tight parking on top, dark weird parking garage below. Noise from the street and thin walls and ceiling kept me up most of the night.

This property was a one night stay for us as we were passing through. They’ve remodeled which was nice. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They provided a continental breakfast in the morning, real basic stuff. They’re within walking distance to a handful of restaurants & bars. My only complaint is it’s not very well insulated for noise control, older building so understandable. There was a person above us who thought it would be a good idea to roll around in their room chair and walk around from the hours of 1:30am-4am. Nobody to inform so I just tried to sleep though it. Overall it was a good place. It served its purpose which was a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep for the night!

Understaffed, so rooms weren't available until some time after check-in time. Breakfast on second day wasn't available because of difficulties with cooking equipment. Rooms were quite nice, property has been remodeled after purchase of a hotel that was in place for many years. Bar and hotel computer systems weren't compatible, so charges couldn't be posted to room account. Assume that these conditions will be worked out over time, and recommendation would be quite a bit higher.

My room was canceled 30 minutes before check-in. I was lucky to have a nice lady who worked with me to figure out what happened on the Expedia app. I had my 1-year-old baby and my daughter, it was 10 pm by the time we figured it out, it was 11:46 pm, my kids were so tired and ready for rest, I am so disappointed with the app.

I was lucky to have a nice lady who worked with me to figure out what happened on the Expedia app. I had my 1-year-old baby and my daughter, it was 10 pm by the time we figured it out, it was 11:46 pm, my kids were so tired and ready for rest, I am so disappointed with the app.

My mother was locked out of her room around 5:30 AM, and no one answered the after hours phone even with repeated attempts. And the desk didn't open as posted as the worker was late. All in all a poorly run hotel. In addition the room doors didn't have seal, so light came through the gaps, and you had to push to close the door. Wouldn't recommend at all. I was forced to contact Expedia to cancel the stay on my return through Pendleton.

Booked through Expedia, but the hotel didn't have my booking. I was able to show them the itinerary and conf# but it didn't make a difference. After calling Expedia from the lobby and waiting on hold, I reached someone at Expedia who claimed it was the Hotel's fault. He repeatedly put me on hold. Room seemed like it was recently redone.Nothing fancy but clean and neat. Bed was very good not too soft but not rock hard. The staff was helpful and very nice.

The management was courteous, friendly and knowledgable. Andrea and Christa were great! They made certain that we had everything that we needed. The beds were so comfortable and the upgrades were very nice! Lots of fresh, beautiful fruits and a wide variety of foods for breakfast. I was very surprised and pleased.

The lunch we had was great! Highly recommend the veggie sandwich with herb and cheese foccacia (sp) bread! More than enough for 2! The lady checking us in was fabulous! Sorry cant remember name.

Parking seemed safe. Elevated parking. It was a continental breakfast, we only got coffee and got on the road. Staff was great!

It appears they took an old motel and renovated it. The finishes are cute but the old motel is still apparent from the doors, locks to windows etc. I’m not a fan of doors being on the perimeter of the building and it looked like our door had been broken into more than once. It was quiet, central and we had no issues while we were there.

The Hotel Pendleton was a cozy and comfortable stay. The bed was nice and the shower hot. The parking underground was perfect, but the height limit is 6’3” The location is great and within walking distance to many local restaurants, shops, bars. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Amazing little find in Pendleton. We drove our lives from Houston to Portland and found this town as the last stay to get as close as we can to Portland from Salt Lake City. We could street park our Uhaul and F150 truck for free which was a bonus and most importantly it was safe! The hotel motel had really nice upgrades that made it feel comfy and clean. And in a walkable distance was the downtown with lovely options for food. Restaurants close around 8 so make sure you get there early!

We stayed a night on our roadtrip and the remodeled rooms were pretty nice. It was clean and the staff were nice. There are some homeless people that hang out right around the hotel that don’t make you feel real great but once you are in the hotel it feels safe. I think for the cost it was a nice hotel. The TV didn’t work and you could see through the door frame and the door. I think this hotel is about a 7 out of 10 and we would stay there again if passing through.

Ignore the bad reviews. This is a cool retro motel style place. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great location and a welcoming friendly staff. Nice bar in the lobby. I will stay again when in Pendleton.

Understaffed, so rooms weren't available until some time after check-in time. Breakfast on second day wasn't available because of difficulties with cooking equipment. Rooms were quite nice, property has been remodeled after purchase of a hotel that was in place for many years. Bar and hotel computer systems weren't compatible, so charges couldn't be posted to room account. Assume that these conditions will be worked out over time, and recommendation would be quite a bit higher.

Perfect location, central so I could walk everywhere. Easy parking. The room was nicely upgraded and functional, clean with cool lighting. I'll likely stay there again when I come back into town. The breakfast situation was inconsistent, every person telling me a different story about what to expect the next morning, and many of those wrong- sometimes free bacon & eggs (not impressive but good enough), sometimes having to order from a menu and pay (pretty good for a $15 omelet), and sometimes only tiny sugary yogurts and processed artificial muffins (no good). They also didn't know until what time breakfast would be served, or they said they did but they were wrong.

The room was updated. Floors felt very dirty though. Had booked because reviews said it had a hot complimentary breakfast, but upon arrival found out during the remodel they added a restaurant and the breakfast consisted of yogurt and a small variety of pre-packaged muffins. Best part was the friendly check in staff. Unfortunately it stunk like pot whenever we left the room.

This property was a one night stay for us as we were passing through. They’ve remodeled which was nice. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. They provided a continental breakfast in the morning, real basic stuff. They’re within walking distance to a handful of restaurants & bars. My only complaint is it’s not very well insulated for noise control, older building so understandable. There was a person above us who thought it would be a good idea to roll around in their room chair and walk around from the hours of 1:30am-4am. Nobody to inform so I just tried to sleep though it. Overall it was a good place. It served its purpose which was a clean, comfortable, safe place to sleep for the night!

There was NO soap in the shower. The bed was so soft, I didn't sleep well and woke up with a very bad back ache. The curtains came off the curtain rod when opening it for light. However, the room was quiet. The room was also small with no chair to sit in except the desk chair.

Only issues I had was you could see the light through the seams of the door and there being fires near you could smell the smoke in our room because of the doors not being sealed. You could hear every noise through the walls 6am I could hear the next person in the room talking as if she was sitting in our room
