Great clean place great new bathroom plenty clean towels etc coffee, tea and milk in fridge. Aircon worked well room nice and warm, both beds comfortable and warm. Tv remote didn’t work and the lighting on the back stairs didn’t work had to use torch on phone to get up the stairs and find the key hole to open the door to get in, was lights there but not working only the one at the bottom of the stairs were there was other light from the car park. Also would ask for a room the other side from the alleyway as the bar is open till 3am and people go in and out a door that bangs and then stand and smoke laugh and talk, lucky we were in the pub playing pool drinking until 1am having fun great place.

Small pub with great, renovated rooms. Had everything you needed for a brief overnight stay. We arrived late and it was easy to check in. Access from the outside stairs and parking out the back. Very safe. Very quiet on a Wednesday night but not sure about the weekends!!! But to be expected for a pub. Great price point.

Good place for a short stay, clean room with good linen; handy to local eateries etc; nice and quiet. Wifi, TV etc; excellent Chinese eatery next door, and other options within a short distance, but no kitchen facilities/chef on the premises.

On arrival they didn't have my booking at the fault of Expedia, DJ played till 3am both nights, should have realised something was up when they supply ear plugs on your pillow, woken during one night and evacuated by firefighters due to someone smoking/vaping in their room. Room itself was ok for the price.

It should state on wotif that the accommodation sits above a pub that is open to 3am on a Monday night. Could not sleep for patrons going outside the pub in lane below room and having a smoke. You pay for what you get.

Great location as on the main street of shops. Room was comfortable. Good shower. Fridge was too cold and froze some of my items. Check-in was easy and checkout. Parking at back of pub. Great price. Unfortunately loud truck that woke me at 6am very close by

Room old but very clean,had to, walk up many stairs to access room,hotel smelt like cigarettes not a welcoming area,accommodation itself was roomy,everything supplied that was needed for a stay,lovely large towels, staff very friendly ,would stay again,easy parking out back of hotel

On arrival staff advised us that there was an on-site night club that was open until 2:30 am, on inspecting the room we could hear a busker across the street so no noise insulation. Car park was 4 metres from night club entrance. Car park is also a busy thoroughfare from Main Street. We cancelled our reservation bar staff were very accommodating & understanding. Pub was nice.

I do not like to give a poor review on a stay......but, even though being forewarned about a DJ going till 3am, I was reassured that the room was a good distance from the entertainment, and was even provided with earplugs! I hardly had any sleep, the earplugs did not help, so I was pleased to get out of the hotel before daylight!!! The shower recess needed a good clean of mildew around the shower base, and the bathroom ceiling was in desperate need of a thorough clean, mildew being treated and a good paint. I make this report reluctantly - I was a hotel inspector, but cannot give a higher rating!

A good budget stopover in the heart of town with all basic amenities however, it would be a huge improvement if the showers were cleaned between stays. The glass was water stained and there was heavy mould growth on doorframes.

The bed was seriously one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The room was clean, tidy and the heating worked well. Staying over the top of a pub, noise is to be expected so factor that in. Overall would definitely stay again.

It's old. Quite roomy especially the bathroom. Shower head great but the soap dispenser was inadequate and awkward to use. Comfortable bed. Split, system aircon had outside unit right next to the windows at the head of the bed so that was annoyingly noisy. But all up adequate accom for the price

The linen was spotless and the bed good. The noise from the pub patrons was very loud during the middle of the night. And there was somebody vomiting at 4.30 am and coughing continuously outside.

Friendly staff, good sized, clean room. Modern bathroom. My room was next yo entrance door and any time someone entered i woke up. This went on till 3 am. Elsmoking area was at entrance too and smoke came into my room, old windows. Dont get room 6.

Older style hotel in Goulburn cbd. Easy walk to everything. Some noise from live music on a Saturday night but ear plugs supplied by hotel. I didn't need them. Large bathroom with separate toilet. Great value for the budget conscious.

Unfortunately, my own fault but i left my coat there....3 days of correspondence, no care factor, i just asked for them to check cameras incase staff maybe put it somewhere safe... too many calls with no reply.... it's not there fault i left it there, but disappointed in lack of response

The hotel doesn't sell meals, but has a supermarket and shops across the road where you can buy food. For the best pub food in Goulburn, walk a few minutes down the main road to the Hibernian, which has a busy bistro.

Perfect for a quick stop on a long journey. Quite a lot of noise from the street outside though as it’s the town centre. Plenty of eateries though.

Good place for a short stay, clean room with good linen; handy to local eateries etc; nice and quiet. Wifi, TV etc; excellent Chinese eatery next door, and other options within a short distance, but no kitchen facilities/chef on the premises.

A bit rough around the edges but with everything you need in good order and convenient - older style room, updated ensuite, mini-fridge with tea/coffee/milk/sugar provided, right in the hub of shopping and excellent food options. Very comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Firstly the rooms are in poor condition. Paint flaking off walls, stains on carpet, towel rail missing and no shelf or anywhere to put soap in shower. Air conditioner extremely loud and the guard on the fan in unit broken. The Curtain does not cover the whole window so sun light streams in from first light. Then there is the noise on Saturday night. Yes the booking page says there could be noise from the night club. However it is not just noise that you would expect from down stairs. Maybe a hum or loud people leaving the pub. No, this is a thumping noise so loud the walls shook, the windows vibrate, the floor shakes. The bass noise from the bar is so loud the whole room shook. It was impossible to sleep till 2:30 am. No room above that noise should be booked. It is totally unreasonable to be asked to pay $100 for that room in that condition with the totally unreasonable noise levels till that time.The rooms should not be let out on a Friday or Saturday. Just do not book if you intend staying over the weekend. For the condition of the room and the outrageously loud music there are far better options in town at the same price. We regret our decision to stay there and will never stay again.

We were in room 3 and it felt like the whole room was shaking and thumping to the beat of the DJ’s extremely loud music. The supplied earplugs were very much needed but then I could still feel the whole bed thumping and venting beating to the music. I feel asleep ok thanks to the earplugs but if you can’t wear earplugs I would avoid this hotel.

This was a basic accommodation. Load music in the bar downstairs started about 10pm on Friday and Saturday. They did provide ear plugs
