Nice room with two bathrooms, a living and kitchen area and a bedroom. The rooftop pool was pretty cool. The staff were great too. Water dispensers on everyfloor. One of the best parts about staying here was the location. So many things to do, see and eat. An amazing taco shop right next door and a short walk to the beach. A bit on the louder side but that is to be expected with such a location.

Pesimo. Desde la llegada, la habitacion no servia el seguro de la ventana al pasillo, por lo que no podiamos tener seguridad ni privacidad. Otras 2 habitaciones tampoco servia el seguro. Otra con filtracion. Finalmente nos dieron otra habitacion, pero esta no servia la TV. No cuentan con estacionamiento, siendo que si esta promocionado. Esto es pwsimo, cuando ya tienes planes.

This is the first time that I have stayed off ocean-front (slightly) when visiting this exciting city, and I am so glad that I made the choice to do so. The hotel is about four or five blocks from the beach, but it provides a quieter and "more authentic" look at the local culture. The hotel is reasonably priced, offers consistent and reliable internet, great housekeeping, and a satisfying pool area on the second floor. More importantly, however, the hotel staff is made-up of people that enjoy others and seem like they are having fun working there. I asked them about nightlife, restaurants, the neighborhoods, shopping . . . . you name it. Two women (Ninfa and Nuri) and one man (Julio) made me feel welcomed and took care of me like I was royalty. I am afraid that when more and more people discover this nice hotel - and it's impeccable service - it will be harder and harder to find rooms here! I hope that is not the case when I return in March of 2025. Thank you, Hotel Pueblito!

Stayed March 8-15. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff is excellent and very friendly. The property is clean but could use a coat of paint and some TLC but that didn’t affect our stay at all. Our room was very basic which was fine but it didn’t have any shelving or a dresser and that would have been handy for organizing our clothes. Water coolers on every floor was very nice to have, and the pool and breakfast area on the 2nd floor was nice. Norma cooks a very nice breakfast and is very friendly. I enjoyed watching the condo construction site across the street when we ate breakfast, while others didn’t like the noise from the construction which starts about 8 am (except for Sunday), I didn’t mind it so much and there is nothing the hotel can do about that-PV is constantly changing/growing Overall we would definitely recommend the Hotel Pueblito PV for the great location and affordability. It’s great value for the money and we plan to return next winter.

Me gustó que la habitación estaba limpia y amplia, no me agradó que el primer día no había servicio de cable, fue el personal de servicio, se llevó el control y no regresó, al día siguiente, nos ayudaron con este tema, el otro asunto es que ningún día tuvimos acceso a la alberca debido a que le estaban dando mantenimiento, a cambio nos dieron desayuno de cortesía, lo agradezco, pero si nos hubiera gustado disfrutar de la alberca. Muchas gracias por sus atenciones.

One thing that surprised me was that in my 6-night stay my room was never visited by the maid service after I checked in... I did ask for clean towels half-way through my stay and the front desk gave them right away. I would have liked the garbage emptied especially, a sign in the bathroom asked that all used toilet paper be deposited in the bathroom garbage since the sewer pipes don't handle that well. I ended up emptying the bathroom garbage to one near the elevator.

The room had maintenance issues and there were cockroaches and bed bugs. Staff moved us to another room, but the problems continued. We left early and got our deposit back. Would not recommend due to cleanliness concerns.

I loved my ten night stay, everyone was so friendly and kind. The hotel is so clean. I enjoyed the pool. Hotel is located in the heart of it all. Quick walk to the beach, fantastic restaurants everywhere. I am looking forward to returning.

What a fantastic stay. The staff here go above and beyond always friendly and willing to help. The building has real charm, and everything was kept very clean. I had a relaxing time by the pool and would recommend it to anyone.

Cockroaches!!! We had originally booked 2 nights but our flight was cancelled and, maybe a sign, we flew in the next day. It was late and we were really tired so we stayed the night. We did not sleep good at all. You go to bed and wake up to little critters crawling all over you. We checked out the next morning but did express our displeasure to the front desk. Also we had to park in front of the hotel since their garage gate was not working and you couldn’t enter the lot. if I could I would rate it at Zero stars!

I think if they got a manager at this facility, it would greatly improve. Their lack of detail at this hotel is incredible. The pool tiles were literally turning green. The lawn chairs were filthy and had not been washed in what looked like years. Disgusting you wouldn't lay on them. The fake grass around the pool was also very dirty, There was trash, cigarette butts, napkins,bottle caps that never got picked up in the two weeks I was there. The Wi-Fi was horrible bad at best, they do serve breakfast in the morning. It's 180 pesos for eggs, which is kind of expensive. And the lady cooking was not friendly at all. She Didn't even say good morning so I wasn't going to eat there. A few of the staff were friendly, but the guys running the taco carts outside are friendlier than the hotel staff. I did like my room. It was very large had a small kitchen, two bathrooms and a little balcony. Downside, It was very bright and very loud from the street noise. I only had my room cleaned a few times and two of the times my bed felt like it had sand in it. They do allow dogs, which was great. My experience was everybody at that hotel did as little as possible and their accommodating guest was as little as possible. With hundreds of hotels, hostels and places to stay I think if you want to stick out from the crowd, you need the little details taken care of.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and welcoming :) Good value for the price. My biggest critique is that the water pressure in the shower was not consistent and it took 10-15 mins for the water to get hot. It is the perfect place if you need a kitchen and a place to stay that is not above a noisey bar.

We had a great time, one problem, the WiFi was unavailable most of the time, we reported it and it was to be fixed but it continued to be unavailable, we had to go into the central area of the hotel to get signal.

La chambre est spacieuse mais sans ouverture , donnant sur un atrium, sombre. Le ménage pas fait après 2 nuits. Il fait une chaleur épouvantable, la piscine est sale et et le peit déjeuner inmangeable

Can't believe this property is rated 9, 2. Rooms smells on mold, most of the rooms are without windows. The only room that was available with windows was the cheaper ones, but we took it. Bugs, in the bathroom, waiting for 10 minutes for hot water. The only positive side of the hotel is the staff.
Can't believe this property is rated 9, 2. Rooms smells on mold, most of the rooms are without windows. The only room that was available with windows was the cheaper ones, but we took it. Bugs, in the bathroom, waiting for 10 minutes for hot water. The only positive side of the hotel is the staff.

Close to the beach, restaurants small walk to town center , loved the decorations of the hotel with plants EVERYWHERE What I didn’t like was the smell of the room, as soon as you open the door it hits you , maybe sewage or just bad humidity. We sprayed the rooms and disinfected the room but it did not work. Only the bedroom had AC so area with fridge and sitting table had no AC. Also cleanliness of the room was poor Recommend for short stay or if you’re out all day and need a place to lay your head.

Charming and a quick walk to everything. Clean and comfortable beds. -didn’t get fresh towels in our 3 day stay -tv audio didn’t work and didn’t get fixed on 3 day stay -hot water took 30 minutes to arrive and only lasted 5 minutes (staff said “we are solar, this is normal” Construction noise is 7am-4pm Other than these things, it’s a cute local feeling hotel. The suite is spacious and feels like an apartment.

The room was better than my expectations. It’s like a small apartment with 1 and a half bathrooms. Has a fridge and microwave . Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a small pool there. Free water filling stations on every floor. Close to the bus stop and various shops . Walking distance from the beach and Malacon. Can’t flush toilet paper. Sometimes got noisy at night .

The hotel was in great location to walk everywhere including the beach!! The staff was very helpful with many of my question on where to eat, get local money and buy food for my room. I would stay again, but ask to not be in a room on the same side at the front entrance.....very noisy in the mornings and much of the day due to a local bus stop out front.

Great location and the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel is next to a busy road so can be a bit noisy - but the location is great for the romantic zone - plenty to do and easy walking distance to the Malacon. Great choice for the price.

The staff was awesome...very friendly and helpful. The hotel overall was clean, as was my room. My room was a bit small but comfortable although there were no washclothes available. The noise from the street could be a bit loud but not overwhelming. Convenient to stores, shops, and restaurants and very walkable to the beach.

The front desk staff were amazing. Shout out to Victor who went above and beyond trying to find us the right resturants for our cravings, where to find markets etc. Always a smile and a greeting waiting for us anytime we came into the loby. Will be visiting again soon!

The staff was the best I have ever had. The room was plain but very clean. The air conditioning kept the room very cool. Breakfast was made right in front of you and it was delicious. We stayed 10 days and we will definitely be coming back next year. The best part was the staff told us some amazing places to eat. 11 out of 10 in my books.

Took me a few days to gather my thoughts, but here you go. I also have the video of how rude the staff and Martín (front desk) was and how he refused to provide a solution to our problem if anyone would like evidence. The room pictures are inaccurate, they don’t show the AC unit above the bed which leaks. They don’t have washrags or ironing boards I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. Unfortunately, our stay here was not a great experience. We've had issues from the first day we arrived. Day 1: 1. No toilet paper 2. No small wash rags 3. Had to move to another room because the AC unit was leaking all over the bed and soaked the pillows and bed covers. Day 2: 1. In the new room, the AC unit leaked all over the bed. Main can to fix the unit, however, it leaked again so we had to move the bed from the wall to the middle of the floor to be able to sleep comfortably. 2. The stove did not work. Day 3: 1. There is a leak on the bathroom that’s leaving water all over the floor. 2. Requested an iron and ironing board, received the iron but you have no ironing board and I was told to iron on the bed, but there are no outlets in the room to do so. 3. The staff was not very helpful and Martin refused to provide a solution when he first approached us. 4. The AC unit started leaking again. 5. The staff lied and accused us of being nasty which wasn't true, we were frustrated that we were not receiving the service we paid for. Day 4: 1. The bathroom light stopped working.

The hotel is about four or five blocks from the beach, but it provides a quieter and "more authentic" look at the local culture. The hotel is reasonably priced, offers consistent and reliable internet, great housekeeping, and a satisfying pool area on the second floor. More importantly, however, the hotel staff is made-up of people that enjoy others and seem like they are having fun working there. I asked them about nightlife, restaurants, the neighborhoods, shopping . . . . you name it. Two women (Ninfa and Nuri) and one man (Julio) made me feel welcomed and took care of me like I was royalty. I am afraid that when more and more people discover this nice hotel - and it's impeccable service - it will be harder and harder to find rooms here! I hope that is not the case when I return in March of 2025. Thank you, Hotel Pueblito!

Staff was amazing and very helpful. For the price, this was a good place to be. Ninfa at the front desk was the best. She provided lots of information and was very attentive to our needs. She truly is the shining star of the hotel. We will be back again!!

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered at Hotel Pueblito Vallarta. From the moment I checked in, the property was plagued by unclean conditions, broken amenities, and unresponsive staff. Housekeeping never properly cleaned the room, and I had to personally retrieve clean sheets from the front desk multiple times. Toilets clogged, the hot water was unreliable, the air conditioning barely worked, and the refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold. Even the in-room safe was broken on arrival and wasn’t replaced until days later. Despite raising these issues repeatedly with staff, nothing was resolved. I ultimately checked out a day early because I could no longer tolerate the conditions. I expected basic hospitality and cleanliness, but this hotel failed across the board. I’ve requested a full refund and urge others to avoid this property entirely.

First of all the staff is amazing, especially the receptionist, Ninfa and the breakfast cook Nuri. We stayed in a suite. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a mini-mart on the corner where we could buy bread, fruit and drinks to keep in our full size fridge. We loved having coffee by the pool in the mornings and Nuri's food is delicious. Ninfa also made some great restaurant recommendations. We loved the neighborhood feel of the area as well as the fact that it is 5 blocks from the beach. Some reviews have complained about the noise, but that is because it is in the city; we saw it as part of its charm. We loved our stay at this hotel and highly recommend it. Next time my husband and I visit, we will definitely stay at Pueblito Vallarta.

Love the staff at this hotel ! I have been here twice and they are all so Welcoming and helpful throughout your stay. It’s in the heart of downtown romántica. Lots of great restaurants and walkable to everything you need. Only thing to note is it is noisy streets. Your in the liveliness of downtown.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The room was spotless, the staff was kind and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time.

Great central location in zona romantica but on very busy street with lots of trucks and buses in the morning. Rooms are very generous and beds are confortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had to ask multiple times for towels though as the maid kept taking them without replacing them. Water coolers kept running out during the day and sometimes we had to go to a different floor to get water. Kitchenette has bare minimum of supplies.

This hotel had everything I needed. I spent most of time outside of the hotel so this was perfect. It’s central so close to all the activity downtown and lovely little local restaurants. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction going on but if you stay in the Center rooms it’s pretty quite.

The location is very good! The room is "tired" meaning it could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. The hotel is clean with a great outdoor pool sitting area. The breakfast is basic Mexican dishes but good. Need to have a better system with the coffee/juice as it kept running out and no one noticed.

Stayed March 8-15. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff is excellent and very friendly. The property is clean but could use a coat of paint and some TLC but that didn’t affect our stay at all. Our room was very basic which was fine but it didn’t have any shelving or a dresser and that would have been handy for organizing our clothes. Water coolers on every floor was very nice to have, and the pool and breakfast area on the 2nd floor was nice. Norma cooks a very nice breakfast and is very friendly. I enjoyed watching the condo construction site across the street when we ate breakfast, while others didn’t like the noise from the construction which starts about 8 am (except for Sunday), I didn’t mind it so much and there is nothing the hotel can do about that-PV is constantly changing/growing Overall we would definitely recommend the Hotel Pueblito PV for the great location and affordability. It’s great value for the money and we plan to return next winter.

Mostly i loved the pool and the little breakfast cafe beside the pool, the cook was very friendly, happy and accommodating, she prepared specific breakfast foods per my request and didnt hesitate to ask if there was anything else she could do for me. I loved staying here because you could walk out the front door and there were any number of nite clubs, taco standsand a pharmacy near by with an ATM machine for instant cash. I would love to stay for a month or maybe 2, but no one was available to help me to arrange for an extended stay. When finally, on the daybi was leaving, i did speak with someone who had some information about an extended stay but she was unsure of the price, the availability and if there was a smaller suite available. So unfortunately i had to book an apartment at Casa Rey Sol in Vallarta by the Marina and i would really have preferred to stay at this hotel.
Mostly i loved the pool and the little breakfast cafe beside the pool, the cook was very friendly, happy and accommodating, she prepared specific breakfast foods per my request and didnt hesitate to ask if there was anything else she could do for me. I loved staying here because you could walk out the front door and there were any number of nite clubs, taco standsand a pharmacy near by with an ATM machine for instant cash. I would love to stay for a month or maybe 2, but no one was available to help me to arrange for an extended stay. Stayed for my 76th birthday. Alondra(spelling) was so nice to us. Jose was very helpful and Ines made me a birthday Natcho plate with a mango margarita. This hotel is close to great restaurants. May not be a 5 star BUT we would definitely return. Gracias Hotel Pueblito Vallarta ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The room smelled mildly of sewage. The pool had a film on the surface. And there was only AC in the bedroom so the living area and kitchen were uninhabitable. There was no view like was inferred on the website. And finally, we weren’t able to open the door to the balcony. The beds were comfortable and they had an elevator so sleep was good but it was noisy and very bright.

I had pretty high expectations based on previous reviews but this property did not live up to the hype. Overall cleanliness wasn’t good at all, from the common areas a to the rooms. It is in a good location but that’s the main benefit. Starbucks is a 5 minute walk; great restaurants are the same distance; beach is maybe 8-10 minute walk. The STAFF was really good, and I almost hate to give such a low rating because they did their jobs well, but the place is more like a hostel than a hotel. We waited 30 minutes for breakfast that never came, and the Wi-fi is really bad.

Absolutely loved the location in old town area, Santa Cruz festival was going on during our stay which made it fun and great street food. Plenty of hot water for shower, pool was nice and clean, breakfast was overpriced and the WIFI totally SUCKS or I would have given an excellent review. The suite is roomy and has everything you would need.
