We arrived at the property and everything was great. The valet helped us with luggage and then Chris at the front desk helped give us family friendly recommendations for a dinner place. We were traveling as a family of 3 with a 1 year old. Unfortunately the pack and play they sent to the room was not working. I was surprised at how helpful Chris was to help us come up with a resolution he truly went above and beyond and that made all the difference. The hotel was nice, clean, bathrooms were very modern and bed was comfortable. Walkable part of town and parking was close and convenient.

I cannot speak highly enough of The Beatrice Hotel. From the exceptional staff to the spotless and beautifully maintained rooms, every aspect of our stay was a perfect 10/10. The attention to detail and overall experience exceeded our expectations. If I visit Rhode Island in the future, I will undoubtedly stay at The Beatrice again. Highly recommend!

Loved the peaceful atmosphere in the hotel, staff were friendly and welcoming. It definitely was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in since our Europe days. Although it’s pet friendly, I was worried I may get sick due to my allergies, but one simple email message to the team, made sure we were roomed away from the pets. The in house restaurant serves fresh food and is available for brunch and dinner. No breakfast on site, but there are options within short walking distances for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beatrice. The staff were attentive and and the accomodations were of high quality. The location in a beautiful old building at entrance to the downtown area could not be beat, as it allowed easy walking access to many different neighborhoods, such as college hill, down city, little Italy, the jewelry district and of course downtown. Two suggestions for even better service - Have the housekeeping staff turn the shower wand to face the shower wall away from guests, as unfortunately the plumbing always reverts to the wand from the showerhead when the water is turned off and we were unpleasantly suprised by a forceful spray of cold water when we first used the shower. Also, get better Do Not Disturb Signs. They are very thin and flimsly, and can move with the door movement. Ours apparently twisted and we were awakened by a housekeeper who thought we wanted service. Other than these two small unfortunate incidents we loved our stay.

The negative the rooms are high ceilings with large windows the hotel is only 5 stories so extremely loud street noise in the room. Also the curtains did not block the light or noise, I am use to a heavy drape to help offset this issue. This is billed as a luxury hotel and for the price point I expected the nice extras you like full size water, a well appointed coffee station. The room was pretty but spare except for a large container of hand sanitizer on the dresser and a QR Code. Also the linens were fine but nothing fitting the description. Towels were soft but thin as were the robes. Again for a marketed $500 room I expect more. We have stayed at the Omni, The Renaissance and The Dean in Providence and wanted to give this a try for a romantic overnight. I wouldn't spend the money again.

This is the best hotel in Providence if you want stylish elegance and excellent service. It’s a small property but that makes it intimate and more personal. The Ciapriani restaurant is also outstanding. Close walking to RISD, Brown and all the sights of Providence. Recommend highly!

No breakfast . . .we were told the next day where to go for breakfast, as if it was part of hotel but it was not and it was closed . . . No breakfast anywhere in area. Also, a few bums on the street and area seemed sketchy. Very nice hotel though if you don”t venture out!!!

Bed and sheets were amazing. Loved the heated toilet seat and shower & that all amenities were provided and plentiful… shampoo lotion. Nespresso machine and water was a nice touch as well. Highly recommend the hotel restaurant, Bellini. One of the best meals and service we’ve had. The staff was very friendly. Grazie!

This is the best hotel in Providence if you want stylish elegance and excellent service. It’s a small property but that makes it intimate and more personal. The Ciapriani restaurant is also outstanding. Close walking to RISD, Brown and all the sights of Providence. Recommend highly!

No breakfast . . .we were told the next day where to go for breakfast, as if it was part of hotel but it was not and it was closed . . . No breakfast anywhere in area. Also, a few bums on the street and area seemed sketchy. Very nice hotel though if you don”t venture out!!!

I’ve stayed here a few times now and absolutely love this local gem! The rooms are impeccable and service is fantastic. I noticed they added a film to some of the hallway windows to prevent guests from being able to see into business offices - a very nice touch. Also love that the valet is always prompt and that they make sure the temperature inside the car is just right. Only downside, which was not the hotel’s fault, is that the restaurant Bellinis downstairs forgot to put in our room service order. We waited over 50 min (they said 15-20 min) and when I called they indicated they didn’t have the order at all. Thankfully they whisked it upstairs but if I hadn’t called, the restaurant would have been closed 10 min later. To make up for this they provided a stale piece of cake. The rest of the food was alright. Regardless book this hotel, you won’t regret it!

A beautiful boutique hotel in the center of the Providence financial district, the Beatrice also contains the Bellini restaurant. This is an upscale Italian restaurant that is run by the Cipriani family. My only complaint is the lack of breakfast service. We look forward to our return to this gem.

We stayed at The Beatrice for two nights and had an excellent experience overall. The staff, cleanliness, location, and comfort were all superb. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, and nearly everything about the hotel felt polished and thoughtfully done. The only real disappointment was breakfast. On Sunday morning, we were directed to a diner in the neighboring building, which did not match the hotel’s otherwise high standards. It felt completely out of place, especially since many other places in Providence were closed that morning. Given that the hotel has an exceptional restaurant by Cipriani and also a rooftop bar, it was surprising that breakfast was not offered in one of those spaces. We also found the gym arrangements unclear. The gym is advertised as being open from 5am to 10pm , but when I was dressed and ready to work out one afternoon, the receptionist told me that I needed to make a reservation. This requirement should be communicated to guests in advance. After that I realized it was not the hotel's gym, but a gym that the hotel and buildings residents had access to. Despite these odd details, The Beatrice is a superb hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With a better breakfast option and clearer information about gym access, the experience would have been perfect.
