Hotel advertises free shuttle to/from airport. It requires 48 hrs reservation for a small 7 seater shuttle but does not confirm (more than a week before). Randomly assigned to a later one (than requested) which was also cancelled and had to wait more than 2 hrs before pick up. Shuttle for drop off at airport was reserved (as requested more than a week before) and was assigned 1hr earlier which meant more than 3 hrs wait at airport. Hotel is old and average. Half an hour drive from airport in the middle of nowhere. Long wait at the restaurant. Would not recommend.

Das Zimmer fand ich persönlich leider relativ abgewohnt und altmodisch eingerichtet, eine Renovierung würde dem Hotel guttun. Auch der Saunabereich war enttäuschend: Nur eine mini-kleine Sauna war überhaupt geöffnet und abends schon auf 50 Grad abgekühlt. Die andere Sauna (Dampfbad) war nicht zugänglich und einen Fitnessbereich habe ich, anders als im Internet präsentiert, auch nicht gefunden. Das Frühstück hingegen hat mir sehr gut gefallen, das war top mit viel Auswahl! Auch das Personal und der Service an Rezeption und beim Frühstück waren sehr gut, Check-in und Check-out unkompliziert. Die Lage des Hotels mitten im Industriegebiet ist nicht wirklich schön, allerdings ist der kurze Fußweg zur S-Bahn-Station ein klarer Vorteil.

Das Mercure ist ein Standard Business Hotel. Da ich dieses Hotel schon seit ca. 10 Jahren von Zeit zu Zeit buche kann man sehen wie der Verschleiss langsam voranschreitet. OK der Fruehstuecksbereich wurde vor ein paar Jahren renoviert. Die Hotelzimmer sind aber fast so wie zu Best-Western Zeiten.

Zuerst die positiven Aspekte, abgesehen von der für mich praktischen Lage nahe der Neuen Stadthalle. Die Mitarbeitenden waren zu jedem Zeitpunkt freundlich und hilfreich und dabei nie aufdringlich. Der Stil des Hotels gefällt mir generell sehr gut. Mein Zimmer war in einem Kolonialstil, mit sehr schönen Details gehalten. Leider und das ist mein einziger wirklich negativer Punkt: Viele Dinge, vor allem am Waschbecken waren nicht sehr gut gepflegt. Wahrscheinlich vertragen Wasserhahn und Waschbeckenstöpsel die agressiven Reinigungsmittel nicht so gut. Nur eine Vermutung von mir. Es wäre wahrscheinlich an der Zeit diese Teile der Einrichtung zu ersetzen. Ansonsten wie gesagt, alles sehr positiv und wenn ich geschäftlich wieder in der Nähe bin, werde ich sicher auch wieder hier nächtigen. Sehr positives Feature: Deckenventilator! Mega!

Wonderful stay! Friendly and helpful staff, excellent dinner and bar, clean room. What I loved the most about this place is that the room had a ceiling fan, coffee maker, and fridge! The only thing missing is a microwave, but I'm not complaining. These other amenities alone would convince me to choose Mercure over anyone else!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. First of all it's close to the tram station which takes you to the city centre in about 30mins. We were in Frankfurt for a fair and all hotel in the centre were booked but it was relatively easy to get to this hotel. We didn't realise that there was a restaurant at the hotel as we would have eaten here. Area is very quiet. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped with pretty decor. Will definitely be back

I booked a double room with a baby crib in advance, I called around midday to confirm it and book the shuttle bus from the airport. The beds were way too soft and the pillows enormous, way too high to rest the head ergonomically, I didn't say anything because the worst problem was the staff: We had to wait outside with a baby until the shuttle bus arrived, 50 minutes late. I checked it twice with the hotel while waiting and they had no real explanation. When we arrived at the hotel and to our room, there was no baby crib in the room. The room phone didn't work, so we had to go to reception in person to ask for the crib. There wasn't really much going on in the lobby, they were 2 people at the reception and they weren't so busy. Nevertheless WE HAD TO GO THREE TIMES IN 40 MINUTES UNTIL WE GOT IT. They finally took a crib from another room in the same floor. Why the heck didn't they check it when we first told them about it? A room change would have solved it right away, but no chance. There weren't many people arriving at the moment; we really felt that the hotel staff wasn't even trying, that they didn't care at all, and not only for my wife and me, also for our 1 year old daughter. Finally, when we had to leave for the airport the following morning, the driver noticed that we were one person too many. The reception staff didn't count right and there was a group of people who had to wait for another ride.

Leider hatte das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage und nur einen Ventilator. Bei 40 Grad war an schlafen eigentlich nicht zu denken. Für den Winter ist das Hotel super aber im Sommer nur an kühlen Tagen.

Hotel was nicely appointed. However, the lack of air conditioning was a big negative. It was an unusually hot day (about 35 degrees C) when we were there, so this would not be an issue most of the time. It would have been handy to have electrical outlets near the bed. The hotel restaurant is the only food option within walking distance. Restaurant hours are limited. Menu is a little limited and a little on the high-price side. Overall a good hotel. I would consider staying there again.

Elegimos la propiedad por el Shuttle al aeropuerto, a pesar de haber escrito 2 dias antes como lo pidieron, no se ofrecio el transporte al aeropuerto en ninguno de los dos sentidos, ademas el personal es muy odioso y poco resolutivo. Considering this is an airport hotel, reception staff was totally unsympathetic to our needs and we felt completely let down. Getting a taxi was complicated and the reception showed zero understanding toward our concerns of getting to our flight on time. Taxi was late and on arrival at the airport tried to charge us more than the tariff given by reception, refused to take card payment, and was unbelievably rude. Worse taxi to airport experience I've ever had.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da und dafür war es mehr als gut. Das Abendessen war sehr hochklassig. Mit dem Shuttle lief alles wunderbar. Wir haben den drei Tage vor der Ankunft bestellt und konnten beim einchecken sogar noch für den nächsten Tag den frheren Shuttle bestellen. Für eine Nacht, als Überbrückung sehr gut - für längeren Aufenthalt kann ich nicht sprechen
