Comfortable overnight stay. Plenty of parking, room was a good size & breakfast was delicious. Only minor issue was being on the side of the petrol station and the tankers & lorries driving in all through the night. However, was to be expected in a Service Station. Would stay again but would request a room at the front.

Very clean and comfortable rooms which are key to any hotel stay. They had charge ports for our car which was a bonus. Rooms also had good air con which was simple to do. Bathroom was clean shower wasn't the most powerful but isn't a issue. Only downfall was we were left waiting a while to check in whilst the guy cooked food for someone. Good overall stay and would stay again

Very welcoming & helpful staff, from check-in until check-out and all in-between! The room was great. Clean and in good condition with modern furnishings including a nice big smart TV. The bed was also comfy, Bathroom was ok, with a generously sized shower. Only -ve for me was the limited breakfast choices, eg. gluten free cereal or bread, and a plant milk option. But I cannot fault the staff at all, the receptionist did offer to go to the shop and find something when it opened! Unfortunately we didn't have timebo have around, so they have offered to refund breakfast charge so we could get on the road and buy breakfast elsewhere. We would stay here again.

We had booked an express room for 2 people. However the size of the room meant that the double bed only fitted into the width of the room and therefore could not be walked round it The person sleeping on the far side next to the wall had to clamber across the bed itself! The room suited a single bed rather than a double being crammed in. Sadly only a continental breakfast was available not a cooked breakfast.

Lovely friendly staff, cosy warm, with a lovely bar that serves pizzas which were ace! Highly recommend if visiting Cheshire oaks or Chester!! Definitely will be back!

The hotel & rooms were decent, but getting to the hotel off the M56 was horrendous, particularly on the Friday afternoon. The hotel is right next to the motorway service station and was extremely busy. It took an hour to slowly get onto the car park and find a space. Getting off was worse as no-one would give way - it was a free for all! I wouldn`t stay here again just because of the awful parking situation.

Everything the staff on were so helpful, had a problem with the first ev changing bay but thankfully there was a spare, what’s annoying is people parking that clearly do not charge their car or have petrol park there because it’s closer to the hotel very frustrating, otherwise was perfect stay

Room was ok. Pillows felt cheap and far too soft, they made you too hot. Bathroom was good and very clean but water didn’t soak away very fast and you couldn’t hold water in the sink. Breakfast was disappointing but the staff were very helpful in the morning. The reception when we arrived wasn’t great, he needs some customer service training. Evening menu was really limited plus the dining area is very small and was full of families with small children running around so not good for eating and relaxing. The dining area definitely needs looking at as not appropriate for a hotel stay.

Overall, our stay at the motorway budget hotel was decent considering the price. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, as it was dusty upon arrival and required a minor wipe-down. Additionally, we encountered some issues during our stay, such as the toilet roll not being refilled after the first night, the coffee mugs not being cleaned or the coffee and tea not being replenished with supplies. Surprisingly, despite being located next to the motorway, the most bothersome noise seemed to come from what appeared to be a boiler. Despite these drawbacks, for the price paid, it was still a bargain.

Everything seemed okay at first, just a rebranded travel lodge. But upon getting in my room I first noticed that the bedsheets were dirty on both sides and then saw a used bloody Plaster stuck on the inside of the bedsheet. I immediately demanded they change the entire bed. Did not sleep well at all, uncomfortable bed and paper thin walls on every side. Terrible hotel.

Our room itself was very nice, it looked much nicer than we expected, however the bathroom wasn’t spotlessly clean and there was a couple of maintenance jobs that needed doing, the tap was loose and the soap holder was damaged. Nothing that significantly affected our stay but simple jobs that could have been sorted and would have been noticed by housekeeping when cleaning. the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as didn’t feel it was good value for money. We was unable to connect our phones to the tv to watch Netflix or Amazon. But was only there for 2 nights so not a big issue but maybe smart tvs that you can just login on would be easier. The location was ideal for what we needed and there was no road noise at all.

Can't fault our stay, to say we were at a service station it was so quiet. The room was amazing so clean and spacious. Kids loved that they could connect their phones to the tv and stream netflix which was a winner all round.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean, modern & secure. It had good facilities, only lacking a hanging space/hangers & drawer space. Ok for a couple of nights. Will bring a couple of coat hangers with me next time. Only issue during my stay was the noise from & lack of operating instructions for the heating/air conditioning unit.

2 night stay on business in the area, rooms are a really nice standard and modern feel. Good the tv can stream Netflix etc from your mobile and WiFi is good. Beds are comfy and didn’t hear much noise from others at all so good night sleep. Air con didn’t feel like it was doing much, it is a decent looking unit but the digital control didn’t seem to change the temperature.

Booked a standard room, knew it would only be a standard double bed, but hardly any room to get in it as the area around it was so limited! Also, there was zero hanging space, not even a hook for a coat. We only stayed for 10 hours prior to an early airport start so not a huge problem but those conditions wouldn’t be great for a longer stay. Hotel and staff were excellent though, as in previous trips. Note to self: Don’t book a standard room next time!

Elie is a real asset to super 8…nothing is a bother to her…she made me feel very welcome&deserves promotion as she takes real pride In her job…Jim didn’t acknowledge me each time I stood at reception he made me wait…as he stared at the screen finishing what he had started!he didn’t seem happy when asked for food Plus pizza and chips were undercooked and soggy sadly…I asked for salt&pepper produced a salt grinder &said I could take it to the room! Presuming I was eating there…and not at a table at reception,felt like he was most happy when having the reception area to himself…2nd night had chips…again soggy and undercooked with a warped lid that wouldn’t close due to heat…strong smell of weed in room..discovered why it was stenchy&cold on last night,window ajar with a weed package wedged in it…I wasn’t happy&when I told him he just took the package off me and binned it saying some people will do anything…I said if our family had been with me I would have been livid…no reply..also constant noise with chairs&furniture getting dragged across the laminate floors..the hotel was newly refurbished so I was pleasantly surprised…had it not been for Ellie’s friendliness I would have only stayed 1 night…she made the difference when far away from home and for that reason I will gladly return with family
Elie is a real asset to super 8…nothing is a bother to her…she made me feel very welcome&deserves promotion as she takes real pride In her job…Jim didn’t acknowledge me each time I stood at reception he made me wait…as he stared at the screen finishing what he had started!he didn’t seem happy when asked for food Plus pizza and chips were undercooked and soggy sadly…I asked for salt&pepper produced a salt grinder &said I could take it to the room! Presuming I was eating there…and not at a table at reception,felt like he was most happy when having the reception area to himself…2nd night had chips…again soggy and undercooked with a warped lid that wouldn’t close due to heat…strong smell of weed in room..discovered why it was stenchy&cold on last night,window ajar with a weed package wedged in it…I wasn’t happy&when I told him he just took the package off me and binned it saying some people will do anything…I said if our family had been with me I would have been livid…no reply..also constant noise with chairs&furniture getting dragged across the laminate floors..the hotel was newly refurbished so I was pleasantly surprised…had it not been for Ellie’s friendliness I would have only stayed 1 night…she made the difference when far away from home and for that reason I will gladly return with family

Perfect - friendly welcome, quick check in, and room ready for our arrival. Room was clean, and we had a very comfortable sleep. We grabbed breakfast to go, again lovely. Would recommend to others 🙂

Very welcoming & helpful staff, from check-in until check-out and all in-between! The room was great. Clean and in good condition with modern furnishings including a nice big smart TV. The bed was also comfy, Bathroom was ok, with a generously sized shower. Only -ve for me was the limited breakfast choices, eg. gluten free cereal or bread, and a plant milk option. But I cannot fault the staff at all, the receptionist did offer to go to the shop and find something when it opened! Unfortunately we didn't have timebo have around, so they have offered to refund breakfast charge so we could get on the road and buy breakfast elsewhere. We would stay here again.

The staff were really accommodating and helpful. I am a new mum and needed to store breast milk which they happily accommodated in the fridge safely. Very helpful and would recommend. Excellent value for a quick stopover.

Pristine in every area, and delightful staff. Comfy bed. perfect little shower room. What more do you need?! The only little niggle is that the walls/doors are a bit thin so you do hear other guests. But I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Arrived late after midnight with an injury, I could only walk slowly with a stick,the lady was so helpful came to help me, carried some extra drinks of coke from the bar to our room for us, as my husband had the dogs and bag with him, she was extremely helpful, the hotel has been updated so much since our previous stay when it was a days inn, had a great nights sleep and had a lovely hot shower the following morning, we certainly will be back for another stay

Should be clear that this is located at a roadside service centre. Regardless of was convenient, clean and spacious. Just not any dining options nearby unless you wanted fast food.

The hotel & rooms were decent, but getting to the hotel off the M56 was horrendous, particularly on the Friday afternoon. The hotel is right next to the motorway service station and was extremely busy. It took an hour to slowly get onto the car park and find a space. Getting off was worse as no-one would give way - it was a free for all! I wouldn`t stay here again just because of the awful parking situation.

Can't fault our stay, to say we were at a service station it was so quiet. The room was amazing so clean and spacious. Kids loved that they could connect their phones to the tv and stream netflix which was a winner all round.

We had a lovely two-night weekend stay at Super 8 Chester. The location was spot-on for visiting the Christmas Markets in both Chester and Manchester, and having McDonald’s, Costa, and Co-op right next door made everything even more convenient. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and ideal for a festive weekend base. If we’d had a bit more time, we could have explored even more — but for what we managed, it was just right. A great stay overall!

We had booked an express room for 2 people. However the size of the room meant that the double bed only fitted into the width of the room and therefore could not be walked round it The person sleeping on the far side next to the wall had to clamber across the bed itself! The room suited a single bed rather than a double being crammed in. Sadly only a continental breakfast was available not a cooked breakfast.

Lovely friendly staff, cosy warm, with a lovely bar that serves pizzas which were ace! Highly recommend if visiting Cheshire oaks or Chester!! Definitely will be back!

A short visit to stay and explore neighbouring Chester the next day, with a baby. Lovely snug place, only found little tidbits that could be massively improved, for instance shower pressure being low, distinct lack of a toulrt roll holder, nearly empty shower gel.... Breakfast wise fee options and freshly brewed teas and coffees which was most welcome, though obe notes plenty of food choices in neighbouribg services. Overall an ok stay but surely fibe for the price paid.

Room was ok. Pillows felt cheap and far too soft, they made you too hot. Bathroom was good and very clean but water didn’t soak away very fast and you couldn’t hold water in the sink. Breakfast was disappointing but the staff were very helpful in the morning. The reception when we arrived wasn’t great, he needs some customer service training. Evening menu was really limited plus the dining area is very small and was full of families with small children running around so not good for eating and relaxing. The dining area definitely needs looking at as not appropriate for a hotel stay.

Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was adequate, grouting needs renewed. We booked breakfast but as there were no gluten free options available we had to cancel. Fortunately the Roadchef next door had a good cafe.

Camera e letto grandi. E' praticamente in un'area di servizio quindi comodo per arrivare e andare su autostrada e aeroporto ( e non troppo lontano da chester). Aria condizionata un po troppo sparata. Pulizua bagno migliorabile. Complessivamente buono e sncora abbastanza nuovo ma prezzo un po troppo alto.

Very nice simple accommodation, we were made to feel really welcome with our 3 dogs, the room was clean and spacious with the added benefit of air-conditioning. We would stay there again.

Everything was great other than a deep humming noise that made it difficult to sleep. Our party had two rooms across the hall from each other and we both had the same experience.

Mold was growing in the shower and the towel rack fell off the wall. It had been sort of/sloppy repaired before. Very noisy. Hey, you get what you pay for. It was cheap- sort of.
