One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed. Not even a hair on the bed. Can text hotel workers directly if any issues. My only thing to complain about is the parking stalls are super tight. Someone opened their car door into my brand new truck and left a scratch which was very disappointing. If there are lots of big vehicles, it’s a bit hard to get in and out of the stalls. Other than that, hotel staff was super easy to deal with. Room was super clean (other than some little spiders all over the ceiling in the bathroom which I dealt with). And location was perfect.

Absolutely awesome location, excellent amenities included. LOVED the ability to book on the BBQs outside and to sit by the fire tables and enjoy the lake view! We ad every excited to return next Summer, already booked!

Great access to the beach and downtown. Rooms have been modernized. AC a bit loud. Parking is a bit tight. Liked the access code to the room, felt safe.

We had a wonderful time here the staff was great. It was right across the street from the beach. They have lots of space to have barbecues which were provided. They even provide beach towels if you forgot them.

This hotel is conveniently located across the street from the lake so beach access is very easy. Our room was clean and quiet. The kitchenette in our room was a nice feature that we appreciated. Hotel staff was polite and accommodating. We enjoyed our evenings by the barbecue and fire pit tables on the balcony.

On the second floor they had multiple seating areas and grilling areas so families could sit out and have private spaces as needed; there were sitting areas with cozy fires, so it was nice to relax by the fire and watch the sun go down. The foot wash station was a big hit with the kiddo for washing all the sand off the feet before going back to the room, and we also like the convenience of having extra beach towels at the desk if needed. I also liked the convenience of self checkin and checkout. The facilities were nice and modern, the AC was great and quiet, all in all a wonderful place to stay!

Great, clean, quiet hotel. Lacks parking. Parking stalls are not very big and there isn’t enough spots to park. Had to park way down the alley and come out through the night to check on truck. They don’t require a parking pass to stay at this motel so it appears ppl park there that are not staying at the hotel.

The Okanagan Lakefront Resort was so poor we left and drove home after staying in the room for 20 minutes, after having to ‘self-check in’ which I am sure was due to the condition of the place. The building is in terrible shape – the stairs to the second-floor room have exposed plywood on them, with a piece holding a very insecure stair rail that was dangerous. The room was terribly dated, with no screens for the windows, and smelled so badly of strong cleaners we started to get headaches within a few minutes. There was a length of dental floss left on the bathroom floor, and the decorating was basically from the 70’s, as was the furniture, we were deeply upset and felt ripped off. We ended up leaving and driving home, arriving at 130am. I really feel the pictures and descriptors misrepresent the Okanagan Lakefront Resort. This is a dive quite frankly and not worthy of the name or price, which was the most expensive available to me for our general criteria on the Expedia site.

Like most penticton motels, this is a lipstick in a pig type of place. Starting with the positives, the location is great. There are beach towels available along with nice outdoor seating areas. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean, except for the bathroom was very cobwebby. We stayed in a suite so that my husband and I could have some privacy from my brother who travelled with us. I don’t think it’s stayed in often, as it didn’t seem to have the same aesthetic upgrades as some of the other rooms. There wasn’t enough seating for three people. The major downside was that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom. The AC in the main room cooled the bedroom a little but only with a fan that we brought and by leaving the door open all night. The shower was clean but the shower head was very low and extremely high pressure. The bed was firm but comfortable, the pull out was less so. Honestly, I would probably have overlooked a bunch of the other stuff if there had been AC in the bedroom. For $260 a night, I just want to sleep even semi comfortably.

The room is renovated with modern-style furniture but still retains some old appliances. I liked the nightstand, which came with built-in outlets. There were some stains on the spare bedding used for the sofabed. We could hear noise from the upstairs unit, which might bother light sleepers. The location is great — close to beaches, ice cream shops, restaurants, bike rentals, and kayak rentals. You can ask the staff for beach towels, and there’s a foot wash area available. There are enough parking spots, though the spaces are a bit narrow.

For the cost per night, I was expecting more. There was so much hair in the tub that it took forever to drain, and there was shaving hair all over the floor in the bathroom. I'm not sure if I was near an office, but with thin walls, I could hear a lot of banging. The parking spots are tiny and tight. Do not recommend it if you have a medium to large vehicle.

People definitley smoked in these rooms. Everything smells like stale cigarettes. I had to wash all my stuff to get the smell out, even my luggage. The shower curtain was moldy, wine stains on the furniture, and the minifridge & microwave are on their last legs. Very convenient location for beach access, though. The staff were quick to respond as well.

Room was renovated and very nice. Lighting was not great only 2x table lamps for the bed/sitting area. Bathroom was clean, good lighting. Check in and out very convenient and efficient.

n room, good size even with king size bed. My only issue was the lack of light, a floor lamp might help that. Maybe add a picture to the wall as well. Can’t beat the location and the proximity to the beach and several restaurants next door and along the beach front. Would stay again.

Functional comfortable rooms. Kitchenette is quite small but works with all utensils cooking and cups/plates. Would like to have wine glasses to enjoy the okanagan wines. Would also like to see some artwork on the walls as it felt a bit too austere and could have a bit more pizazz. The location cannot be beat with beach across street and numerous restaurants close by.

Stephanie was very helpful. Called me to let me know my room was ready so got an early check in. Room had been recently renovated. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom small but sufficient. The location is the real winner here. Steps away from Okanagan Beach and restaurants. Unfortunate the only window in the room faced the parking lot and walkway so couldn’t have the curtains open as people could easily see inside. The common area with firetables overlooking the lake was a great space. They needed this area as there is no outdoor space to sit outside your room.

Since we were there after thanksgiving in October, it was really quiet as we were the only one in the motel the first night and just few others on the second night. So we did not have any neighbours. Being a motel, I can imagine it could be more noisy if we had neighbours. Property seems to have ongoing small renovation. Our room was clean. However, our room with kitchenette is actually not a full kitchenette. Only small fridge, coffee machine and microwave which should not be called a room with kitchenette. Bathroom had no fan but a window so you had to open the window to let humidity out. But at the end, the room was good. At first, the communication with the property were not great as they did not reply to our requests through phone and email. Then, they called us after sending the code for the door to make sure we receive it. Then, on our second night, they make sure we had everything. So in general, our stay was good.

I definitely liked the hotel. Rooms were clean, undated. My only comment and also with other customers.....having more clear instruction when someone is actually physically present in office. Myself and other hotel guests were seen going to office only to discover that nobody was there. On two occasions, even when it was stated on sign on door that someone was in attendance: they were not. The ability to text in the morning was helpful....not so much later in morning or afternoon

I normally stay at the Ramada but gave this place a shot due to location and price. I was so surprised, the rooms are all updated and the staff was incredible… I will be staying here again for sure. Book this place you can’t beat the value. Personal note: we had a death in the family and they were constantly asking how we were doing and made arrangements so we could stay another night, they went above and beyond to help us.

We checked in and very late in the evening and morning - a group of East Indians (guests) decided to have a party on the top deck. They were loud and caused lots of noise - when we tried to get hold of the front desk no one was there - the office was locked and no contact numbers!! A couple others occupants came out to confront them and an older women in the pack got very mouthy to the point of the people approaching them about the noise started to deal with them very strongly - thought there was going to be a brawl... again no help from the hotel - it is a very unsafe atmosphere there - When we went at 9am to checkout and speak to them again no one was in the office!! It was locked down and all the drapes closed. I will not stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is conveniently located across the street from the lake so beach access is very easy. Our room was clean and quiet. The kitchenette in our room was a nice feature that we appreciated. Hotel staff was polite and accommodating. We enjoyed our evenings by the barbecue and fire pit tables on the balcony.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing stay! We originally stayed in one of the suites, which was incredible — spacious, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for our family. We loved the hotel so much that we ended up extending our stay for another two nights and moved into a regular two-queen room, which was still phenomenal! The staff were fantastic — so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The outdoor common areas were spectacular and easily one of our favourite parts of the hotel. Such a beautiful space to relax and hang out, especially with kids. The location is also amazing — so close to the beach and everything we wanted to do in Penticton. We genuinely didn't want to leave. 😂 We will absolutely stay here again. 11/10!

We love staying here! The location is incredible! We stayed in the only lake view suite with private balcony this time and it was FABULOUS! We love the BBQs free to use, laundry and bags of ice. It’s a really nice touch. We will definitely be back again!

We loved the location. Staff was very helpful when we had a problem with our TV. Very well equipped kitchen. Could have used a broom/dustpan though and would have preferred a regular Coffee pot to the French press. All in all it was great and will probably stay there again.
