The place is convenient for an overnight stay. Suitable if you need a place to sleep that is quick and close to the freeway. While still being clean and has some amenities like a pool as well as complimentary breakfast. The lobby area is nice. The building itself is clean. It could be difficult to find overnight parking if you are out late. At that point you will just have to find street parking.

Nice place to stay for Seaworld or surrounding attractions. Quiet and clean. Pool is very tiny. Breakfast basic but good. Parking is a challenge with tight small tight spaces and I would not feel safe with my vehicle outside the designated lot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Amazingly convenient location (to freeways, the Belmont boardwalk, Sea World, etc.) & property. New (opened 1y3m ago, from Dec 2022). Excellent condition, spacious rooms. Lots of Chargepoint EV chargers on property directly in front of main entrance. It's right off a main street, so there is some street noise during the day, but there's very little traffic late at night. Depending on how sensitive you are to noise, might be good to enter that request at the time of the reservation (or seek another property). The bath products are nice, looks like Marriott properties are steering away from little products and moving towards larger volume containers fixed to the shower walls. The breakfast selection is decent, on par with other Marriott properties. They could use 1 additional person to staff the breakfast area to ensure the oatmeal, coffee, eggs, etc don't run low/out. But, the one person was certainly hustling, so kudos! Gym was very good, esp given the size of the property. Equipment in excellent condition and very clean. They should put some towels in the gym.

stayed here one night for a San Diego Seaworld trip… Drove up from Orange County. Very nice hotel seems either very new or newly renovated! The rooms are spacious, beds and bedding are comfortable, big fluffy, absorbent towels, amazing shower, mini fridge and microwave and nice TV! Checked out the fitness room and pool …very nice. I just wish they had a Jacuzzi. Breakfast complementary and very good!

The staff was excellent, friendly and very attentive, no complaints there. The area around the hotel is less than desirable. Heavy traffic and noisy at night. The pool is also heated by solar so if there is no sun, you have a cold pool. Also, no jacuzzi, I had not caught that when reserving.

Room was clean and comfy. Great breakfast! Their saving grace. I have to ask to get our room cleaned. We have stayed here 3 times now and each time was a little worse than the time before. Furniture in lobby was super dirty! Furniture in bedroom was run down and the refrigerator froze all of our food and drinks! I forgot to ask them to clean our room one day and we came back to an unclean room, baskets overflowing, toilet paper and kleenex not refilled. You'd think those items should be checked each day. All the wet towels from the day before made the room musty smelling. Don't think we will return here. It was so beautiful on our first trip here but so disappointed on this last trip. Marriott needs to check on this hotel!

The room was super clean inside which is always a top priority for my wife and I as we find the time to travel. The staff was extremely nice with my limited interaction. I will however never book again through Expedia but that doesn't matter with my actual stay. The location was central which we liked, but the area wasn't the best and wasn't the worst. The breakfast was kind of a let down, eating the same thing 4 days in a row was kind of boring. Having an actual parking lot and parking garage was nice. We didn't quite realize how inconvenient finding parking was throughout the day and found it pleasant to just pull right on in after a long day.

The location is good, short drive to everything, parking is convenient. But the hotel is poorly managed. The lobby smells as soon as you walk in. The room and hallway is not as clean as it should be. The floor and windows are dirty. Sorry to see that the management is letting it down for a hotel just 1-2 years old.

Check in was easy, room was spacious and clean, bathroom and shower were wonderful. Better TV’s would be appreciated. Breakfast was good loved the waffle maker! Covered parking was a plus and location was great!

This hotel was disappointing, from arrival to checkout and after. I tried to check in online and was supposed to get a text when this was done. That never happened. I showed up and there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. Turns out the employee was hiding or sleeping under the desk. She was also rude and didn’t provide adequate information on parking or where my room was located even when pressed for details. My bathroom was dirty with sand in the shower and cosmetics from the previous guest. The pool was filthy both days. There was spilled food in the hallway that sat for 24 hours. There were dirty towels by the elevator. The lamps by the bed did not work. The good things: the room was quiet and cool. The breakfast had a nice variety.

The bathroom floor was dirty with so many hairs and the water power was super weak. The most awful thing was that you can hear everything from the hallway - closing the door and talking, yelling, crying babies. Also the suiteroom that we were in, we could hear banging sound and walking like a bump from the upstairs - that was REALLY LOUD. I woke up around 5am just because of that footstep sound. Just for a night stay is fine but definitely will not come back again.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, and served a nice breakfast . But the furnishings are outdated and uncomfortable. Sofa bed was old, noisy and quite lumpy.

Hotel is well maintained and parking is easy. We were upgraded due to water saturating the floor due to a window being left open in the room. The upgraded room was great expect the TVs did not work. We did notify the front desk but no one came to fix it.

easy check in but the front desk staff looked really tired or something that I could barely hear what he was saying. Parking garage was nice to enter right through the elevator. The bathroom floor was dirty with so many hairs and the water power was super weak. The most awful thing was that you can hear everything from the hallway - closing the door and talking, yelling, crying babies. Also the suiteroom that we were in, we could hear banging sound and walking like a bump from the upstairs - that was REALLY LOUD. I woke up around 5am just because of that footstep sound. Just for a night stay is fine but definitely will not come back again.

The room was super clean inside which is always a top priority for my wife and I as we find the time to travel. The staff was extremely nice with my limited interaction. I will however never book again through Expedia but that doesn't matter with my actual stay. The location was central which we liked, but the area wasn't the best and wasn't the worst. The breakfast was kind of a let down, eating the same thing 4 days in a row was kind of boring. Having an actual parking lot and parking garage was nice. We didn't quite realize how inconvenient finding parking was throughout the day and found it pleasant to just pull right on in after a long day.

We had groups of people kicking doors and being abusive. The front desk were not answering. We had to call 911 as we were scared and trapped. Only when 911 contacted the hotel did the front desk respond. The group left and then came back. They then went out side and started throwing rocks at the windows. Front desk girl “Tiffany” tells us it’s ok and no one is at risk. They are just “locked out”. the people are free to wonder around venting their rage…..

This hotel was disappointing, from arrival to checkout and after. I tried to check in online and was supposed to get a text when this was done. That never happened. I showed up and there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. We waited a few minutes before my daughter asked what was happening, and when I said they must be in the bathroom someone popped up from behind the counter. Based on the service I received, I assume she was sleeping. I received no direction and rude answers when I tried to ask about parking and finding my room. The was spilled food on the floors in the hall. Towels on the floor by the elevators. I think housekeeping forgot to clean my bathroom. We had one towel, sand on the floor and in the shower, and cosmetics on the sink. Half the lamps did not work. The pool was so dirty we opted not to swim. The high points were the breakfast had a good variety, the decor was nice, and the room was quiet and cool. After checkout we noticed some shoes missing, and I called the front desk. We were there for only two nights but no one came to service our room on Sat so we didn’t have fresh towels or the trash wasn’t taken out. We were traveling with two small children so that was very important to us. The pricing was great and they had a crib for us - we would stay at your hotel again but expect better servicing of our room.

Our stay was terrible mostly due to check in. We got to the hotel roughly around 11 PM and the receptionist informed us that their systems were down and they could not check us into a room. FYI, I am pregnant and I was exhausted from travel. She informed us that the manager is not on site and not answering her phone calls. The whole thing felt so unprofessional. She eventually put us in a room, which I believe was the only room on the first floor right next to the laundry room, ice machine, and elevators on the busiest side of the street. It was so loud and we could hear people talking in the lobby. Unacceptable we walked back up and said we needed a better room. We waited and waited until she offered us another room worse than the one we booked, which I declined. Eventually, around midnight, Her computer seem to start working and she put us into a room on the third floor, which at least was quieter. Check-in should not take an hour, and it was ridiculous to seemingly have one person on staff with no on-site manager. I will not be returning.

Amazing stay over a holiday weekend. Clean, modern, and comfortable with parking and breakfast included. Great value (relatively speaking) and location at the northeast corner of the Mission Bay area (Pacific Beach side). Mission Bay activities are all conveniently located within a 10-15 min drive. You do need a car to scoot around and the free Bay parking lots can get very crowded, so keep that mind, or go out on the earlier side. The immediate area around the hotel is not very walkable.

The staff was excellent, friendly and very attentive, no complaints there. The area around the hotel is less than desirable. Heavy traffic and noisy at night. The pool is also heated by solar so if there is no sun, you have a cold pool. Also, no jacuzzi, I had not caught that when reserving.

The room was very clean. The breakfast had a great variety but the area was not kept clean. A little disappointing. The desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. Biggest disappointment of all, which hotel had no control over, was that there was young men just outside our window almost yelling as they spoke until 12:30 in the morning. It was a rough night falling asleep.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Breakfast was lacking, as we arrived before 9 AM and were told there were no more eggs or muffins available, with no plan to restock them. Additionally, there was no fruit offered, and we were told it wouldn't be available until Wednesday—after we had already left the hotel, as our stay was for 4 nights. Our room was never cleaned during our entire stay, which was a major inconvenience. Comfortable, stayed as a family of 4 with two small children. Breakfast included waffles, breads, yogurt, oatmeal, Coffee, juice. they rotate other hot items like scrambled eggs one morning. And another morning they had breakfast croissants sandwiches. We’d come back again.
