Very quiet and peaceful, but still close to Ubud town for different sights and activities. Walking is via some steps which are a bit challenging in the heat, or taxi bikes can take you to the hotel (I only walked so I don't know the cost). All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and it was easy to arrange activities and transport with their help. The food was pleasant, breakfast is very nice. I had a massage at the hotel spa a couple of times and it was very good.

Had a great view days at Alam. It a great location beig just 1km out of town on a hill. No direct car access, but this was fine as we walked down to the main road then into Ubud. Found we could get from the new Bintang supermarket via the walkway systems. Next time would ask for a room further back from the front of the resort as we could here the scooters.

Superb boutique resort, absolutely loved the location. Extremely quiet area of Ubud, but walking distance to centre of town and many attractions if you don't mind the Penestanan stairs. Several other excellent dining options nearby. The gardens are absolutely stunning, excellent pool and beautiful rooms. The staff were wonderful. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing stay at Alam Wayang. Stunning property, nice facilities. Food and breakfast was great. Massage was amazing! Would definitely recommend. The pool closed a bit early but no other downsides!!

We had a wonderful stay at Alam Wayan. The villa was lovely and the resort pool just fabulous. It’s close to two beautiful yoga studios and great good options.

５人家族、3ベッドルームプール付きに滞在しました。 清潔で広いお部屋、素敵なお庭と外リビングで、素晴らしかったです。 スタッフも皆笑顔で親切でした。 部屋にウォーターサーバーがあり、温水、常温、冷水が出ました。これがとても便利で水を買わずにすみましたし、日本から持って来たコーヒー等を入れるのに役立ちました。 \u3000 熱いお湯もたっぷり出て、湯船にもつかれたのも良かったです。 また、ホテルの前までは車が入れないのですが、送迎のカートでいつでも送って下さったのが助かりました。子供はカートに乗るのを楽しんでいました。 街の喧騒はいっさい聞こえず、静かな滞在ができるのでオススメします。

This was a lovely Hotel staff lovely and friendly the pool lovely we had breakfast a part of the deal limited. The room where great private little garden. Love the bathroom. The only downside to this if you have any walking aid this would not been the hotel for you. There are many step to walk down or up. I walk with a stick and found it hard. There is transport from the hotel to the they coffee stop where you can get a taxi from. We had trouble with our phone and could use them. But if you are not affect by this great hotel.

접근성이 황당해요. 골목 안쪽에 있어서 버깃카로 움직여야하고 걸을땐 엄청나게 좁고 가파른 계단을 많이 오르락내리락 해야해요. 근처에 식당이나 편의시설이 하나도 없어서 늘 멀리 걸어나가거나 택시 불러야 하는데 택시 타는데까지 버깃으로 다녀야하니 불편이 너무 커요. 그리고 욕실이 야외에요 ㅋㅋ 엄청 덥고 모기, 개미 득실거려요. 아침식사도 뷔페 아니에요. 직원들은 친절하네요. 다시 가고 싶은 마음 없어요.

Perfect place to stay in Ubud! Quiet location but only a 10 min walk to the main area. Staff were very helpful, the room was lovely and clean, beautiful pool. Note the hotel location is actually where hastina restaurant is pinned on google maps. The google maps location is for the drop off point with the buggy, which was a great option if you didn't use a scooter!

Ikke pengene værd. Hotellet er mere slidt end hvad det ser ud på billeder. Morgenmaden er ringe. Servicen er okay. Sengetøjet er beskidt med pletter. Det var okay, men jeg vil anbefale alle at vælge et andet sted.

Très près du centre-ville quoi que le chemin le plus court vous oblige à utiliser un escalier d’une cinquantaine de marches. Très belle endroit dans un secteur calme et paisible. Les chambre sont très belle avec une salle de bains semi-extérieur. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

We stayed 2 and a half weeks and enjoyed every moment. The staff were wonderful, very discreet and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is a little gem, tucked away from all the noise but in easy reach of all Ubud has to offer. We loved it and will certainly be returning again.

The staff was so amazing, helpful, the area was closer to the city and safe to walk. They had amazing pizza at the restaurant. It was nice and quiet resort. Would love to go back again. Thankyou to the amazing staff who helped me always.

Superb boutique resort, absolutely loved the location. Extremely quiet area of Ubud, but walking distance to centre of town and many attractions if you don't mind the Penestanan stairs. Several other excellent dining options nearby. The gardens are absolutely stunning, excellent pool and beautiful rooms. The staff were wonderful. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.

The staff was super helpful, going beyond the call of duty... particularly Kartika was a gem, highly professional, kind and helpful. The room/ mini-villa & breakfast choices were also great, exceeding my expectations. The property is in an interesting, soulful area. Would easily come again, great vibes.

This was a lovely Hotel staff lovely and friendly the pool lovely we had breakfast a part of the deal limited. The room where great private little garden. Love the bathroom. The only downside to this if you have any walking aid this would not been the hotel for you. There are many step to walk down or up. I walk with a stick and found it hard. There is transport from the hotel to the they coffee stop where you can get a taxi from. We had trouble with our phone and could use them. But if you are not affect by this great hotel.

Had a great view days at Alam. It a great location beig just 1km out of town on a hill. No direct car access, but this was fine as we walked down to the main road then into Ubud. Found we could get from the new Bintang supermarket via the walkway systems. Next time would ask for a room further back from the front of the resort as we could here the scooters.

Très près du centre-ville quoi que le chemin le plus court vous oblige à utiliser un escalier d’une cinquantaine de marches. Très belle endroit dans un secteur calme et paisible. Les chambre sont très belle avec une salle de bains semi-extérieur. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Perfect place to stay in Ubud! Quiet location but only a 10 min walk to the main area. Staff were very helpful, the room was lovely and clean, beautiful pool. Note the hotel location is actually where hastina restaurant is pinned on google maps. The google maps location is for the drop off point with the buggy, which was a great option if you didn't use a scooter!

Very quiet and peaceful, but still close to Ubud town for different sights and activities. Walking is via some steps which are a bit challenging in the heat, or taxi bikes can take you to the hotel (I only walked so I don't know the cost). All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and it was easy to arrange activities and transport with their help. The food was pleasant, breakfast is very nice. I had a massage at the hotel spa a couple of times and it was very good.

J’ai adoré mon séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel y est très sympathique, la chambre était spacieuse (la salle de bain en extérieur est une expérience magique), les massages étaient excellents et le restaurant très bon. J’ai trouvé l’hôtel vraiment bien situé dans Ubud. Un petit quart d’heure de marche pour accéder au centre. (Les escaliers au retour piquent un peu !) Il y a vraiment tout à proximité, c’est très facile d’obtenir un grab (ils ne peuvent pas nous déposer devant l’hôtel en général mais il y a des points de rencontre très faciles). Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j’aurai plaisir à y revenir lors d’un prochain passage à Ubud !

I absolutely adored my time at this hotel. I had a Deluxe Superior Room for 27 days as I was taking a nearby workshop. Property was super nice, restaurant was good, pool was fantastic, and the staff was unbelievably helpful with anything I needed (included a lot of laundry!). I loved the outdoor shower, and the AC was great considering the humidity. One thing I didn't know when I signed up was that the car I hired to drop me off could only go to the secondary restaurant location. The road up to the hotel isn't big enough for cars (totally fine for scooters), so they have a golf cart that picks you up to bring you to the place. This was not at all a problem for getting Grab scooters, but if you needed a car, you'd have to select one of two different locations. One of which was at the bottom of the Penenstanan stairs. It was also VERY nice to be within walking distance of Ubud central, but it was significantly quieter and much more interesting to be at Alam Wayang. I LOVED the small walking path to the grocery store as well, and all the little cafes tucked along it.

My stay was wonderful! And it was so nice having the restaurant and spa there too! The staff are so friendly and helpful! The only thing I would say is to bring bug spray (and don't forget to use it at night before bed!) Mosquitoes are around which is to be expected. But the rooms and property are stunning, the food in the restaurant is great - the juices are amazing!!! Great massages for a great price, and the staff are wonderful!
