Staff are friendly. Hotel elevator stinks so bad all the time. Hallway smells so bad. We almost throw up and cover our nose when we walk on the hallways and in the elevator. Having a big fridge , stove, microwave was inefficient. They could have used the funds to have better bed and beddings ad cleaner ambiance of a hotel.

My stay began with being given a room key to an occupied room. There is no second security lock so I was able to walk right in. The room was immaculate in all ways. Towels were paper thin and small. No dryer in the room, when requested I was told there are 6 in the hotel and they didn\'t know where they were. No coffee pot, the lobby coffee was "interesting", like weak tea one day, syrup the next, the machine uses some kind of liquid as opposed to real coffee. When I returned at six no towels, was told they would bring me some, called three times finally got them at eight. No ice machine, ice cube trays in fridge but you have to make it,at nine at night no ice until morning. One shampoo and one bar of soap. They have biweekly cleaning service unless you want to pay extra. This is a very bare bones hotel, very clean but bare bones. It has many long term residents so it is more like an apartment. If you want pots, pans and dishes they can be rented from the front desk. Located in an area with many hotels I have stayed in before. This is not a place I would stay again for a short trip. I want to say again it was incredibly clean.

This was my first time in a WoodSpring Suites property. It does differ from the 'usual' hotel property - no hand towels, key card required to power the room, no coffee pot or iron/board in the room, & nothing but a basic cup of coffee in the lobby. Not bad - just be aware.

During the check in process, the receptionist tried to charge me $50 for a dog. When I argued that Hotels.com stated it was $10, he quickly changed it to $10. This hotel is bare bones. It’s advertised as a unit that has a full kitchenette, but it was not equipped. If you want anything, there is a fee. We asked for a coffee pot and we’re told that we would have to pay for it. I will never spend another night with this hotel chain.

The dirtiest floors I've ever seen in a hotel. I would assume that the floors were mopped with the same water in all the rooms and hallways. The hallways were sticky, the rooms dirty turned white socks dark brown within 10 steps. Outside, no trash was picked up, patrons would leave trash all over the place, I never saw it got picked up. Will likely not stay here again. Actually, bank on it! The staff were nice.

I really didn’t like no clean towels except for you had to go and exchange them at the front desk. I rented two rooms and one of the rooms the bed and tub was full of hair. That’s nasty to pay to lay on someone else hair. The room was not properly cleaned.

The room was very clean, beds were a bit uncomfortable. The hallways and common areas were very dirty, there was even a pile of poop in the hallway at the next door over from my room. It’s a non smoking hotel but reeks of cigarettes. Staff is very unfriendly.

The building is in a very good condition, very clean and always smells good. It is in a great location, next to I-95, parking lot and surrounds are spotless. I stayed there for a surgery recovery and staff was very helpful, friendly and supportive. They just need to figure out some updates soon to mattresses but isn’t that bad yet. If I have to go back, definitely I’ll consider it as an option to stay in Jacksonville again.

Very dirty. There was dirt all over the floors, an eyelash stuck to the bathroom mirror, dirt all over the sheets, grime on the sink counters, and a very unpleasant smell throughout. After driving 10 hours and it being 2am we decided we’d rather tough it out and drive 3 more hours home than stay there. The walls were so thin that the traffic and the neighbors snoring could be heard and we were unable to sleep. I do not recommended this hotel.

Sheets were dirty with a dog paws 🐾 print. We call front desk to let them know about this and they told us that room service was not available and that we should go and pick up a clean ones to the front desk and change them ourselves. I couldn’t sleep just thinking about the lack of cleanness of this hotel. I will never stay here.

No attendant at the front desk for about 10 min when I arrived to check in. Room itself was fine, but between the dog barking down the hall, shrieking kids across the hall, elephants in the room above me, people in the room next to me knocking their bed against the wall, and the blinds but no curtains not doing a great job of blocking the parking lot lights, I didn't sleep great. Sign in the lobby said there'd be coffee available at 6 am; there was no coffee at 6:30, and nobody was due to be at the front desk until 7.

Noise was unending from other rooms and floors well into early morning hours. Extremely poor soundproofing. Doors slamming loudly and shaking rooms. Hearing people walking on floor above our room. Workers talking outside that was heard in our room on 2nd floor for 30 min before shift at 7 am. If you want a good nights sleep dont stay here.

Nice safe area, convenient access, fairly priced rooms - until they add the surprise non-refundable pet fee of $50, in our case for a well behaved 9 lb dog, when the rooms have no carpet (and filthy floors) POSITIVE(S): Hot shower with good pressure NEGATIVES: Waited a good 5 minutes for the front desk clerk to appear at check in, no explanation, no "Be right back" sign. Walls are paper thin, heard our neighbor\'s tv late at night. No ice machine on site or ice maker in the full size fridge. Room faced a well-lit parking lot but had no blackout curtains, only blinds that let in too much light. Very limited toiletries and no hair dryer. No nightstand on one side of the queen bed.

Nice stay. Looks relatively new. Everything seemed really clean. Only complaint was that we were surrounded by non smoking rooms but there was an overpowering cigarette smell in the hallway. And it could be insulated better. Could hear people walking above us and in the hallways

The staff was awesome, especially Dwayne, the manager! The hotel was clean and located in a safe area. My only issue was noisy guests in the floor above me.

Property was super clean. Staff was friendly. Beds were a little hard for me but comfortable. Bath/Shower was great except there were no grab bars. The only down fall for me about this hotel was NO black out curtains or shades. They have wood blinds which made the room way to bright. Street light shinned in and Sun came up way to fast. Overall I would probably stay here again

Had to leave early, there were no towels,when i asked they told me they were in the dryer. The 2 towels in the room had blood stains. No iron or ironing board, was told by staff they'd notify me when one was available, same as towels.. 2 female staff members had a fist fight in the lobby, blocking the elevator... one threw rocks at the others car in the parking lot. Hotel was clean and in a nice area but we didnt feel safe also felt staff had no concern for guests needs..

The General Manager Mr Torres was very hospitable and dis his beat to accomodate me and while waiting to check in tHe AGM MRS JOY finished checking me in and was so nice as usual and always a pleasure to see. The room was quiet and clean and and the housekeeping staff as always gabe me a smile as i came and left which isnalways nice to see. Thank you foe your hospitality and smiles!!

I got there an hour before check in where after standing there for 20 minutes without anyone coming to the front desk, they finally did where they informed me there is a $25 early check in. Fine. I went to Publix to get a couple things, came back and again, no one at the front desk. Finally someone comes around 15 mins later and I get my key, come back down 15 mins later bc my remote has no batteries in it so have to go back to the front desk and wait again on an empty front desk. Then took a shower to then find out the towels that seem to be clean and peoples body hair on them, and not one towel, almost every one. So now I feel disgusted to dry myself off after I shower. This is basic. Also, wanted to wash some close but the front desk said the machines requires quarters but they don’t have any quarters at the front desk to exchange for cash. I regret booking this place to stay.

My stay began with being given a room key to an occupied room. There is no second security lock so I was able to walk right in. The room was immaculate in all ways. Towels were paper thin and small. No dryer in the room, when requested I was told there are 6 in the hotel and they didn\'t know where they were. No coffee pot, the lobby coffee was "interesting", like weak tea one day, syrup the next, the machine uses some kind of liquid as opposed to real coffee. When I returned at six no towels, was told they would bring me some, called three times finally got them at eight. No ice machine, ice cube trays in fridge but you have to make it,at nine at night no ice until morning. One shampoo and one bar of soap. They have biweekly cleaning service unless you want to pay extra. This is a very bare bones hotel, very clean but bare bones. It has many long term residents so it is more like an apartment. If you want pots, pans and dishes they can be rented from the front desk. Located in an area with many hotels I have stayed in before. This is not a place I would stay again for a short trip. I want to say again it was incredibly clean.

Location worked well. Room was functional for what we need. Check in process was painful. Front desk attendant was very responsive and polite, and did the best she could. However there were 3 or 4 guests in front of us. Took nearly 30 minutes from arrival to our room. Keys de-programmed 3 times when we were there. Manager/Owner needs to get their act together.

The building is in a very good condition, very clean and always smells good. It is in a great location, next to I-95, parking lot and surrounds are spotless. I stayed there for a surgery recovery and staff was very helpful, friendly and supportive. They just need to figure out some updates soon to mattresses but isn’t that bad yet. If I have to go back, definitely I’ll consider it as an option to stay in Jacksonville again.

Very happy with the quality for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and in good working order. No blackout curtains over the blinds, coffee maker or hairdryer in the room, or fresh towels beyond the first set (without a fee), all of which are fine if you know what to expect. Good coffee in the lobby in the mornings and very friendly and helpful staff. There are two of these about the same distance from UNF so it pays to pay attention to the address.

This was my first time in a WoodSpring Suites property. It does differ from the 'usual' hotel property - no hand towels, key card required to power the room, no coffee pot or iron/board in the room, & nothing but a basic cup of coffee in the lobby. Not bad - just be aware.

During the check in process, the receptionist tried to charge me $50 for a dog. When I argued that Hotels.com stated it was $10, he quickly changed it to $10. This hotel is bare bones. It’s advertised as a unit that has a full kitchenette, but it was not equipped. If you want anything, there is a fee. We asked for a coffee pot and we’re told that we would have to pay for it. I will never spend another night with this hotel chain.

Room had holes in bathroom door. Paint was rubbed off on walls....exposed wires over stove area. noisy hallway itsok as an emergency sleeping olace but id look elsewhere for an enjoyable stay

I was a traveler driving 31 hours strait and needed a real bed and shower. I picked this one because it looked like an "apartment" feel and could maybe cook some pasta. Well this room was at best the same atmosphere of a converted garage space. The room was safe, no visible bugs and i checked! The things that led to the angry review, well I asked to check in early but for a fee or any reason, she was rude and basically dismissed me without discussion. I called Hotels to ask if they have anyplace that is open and will take me. She got me about to check in then. I should not have had to call! Then the room had a rubber sheet squeezed over a full sized (NOT QUEEN) bed with 2 extra soft pillows so basically sleeping on your hands and the bed was only a bed. No soap, shampoo, or complementary anything. Disrepair is expected but they had negative amenities. I feel this place is just promoting to be something its not and wont be. But if I had come into this expecting that, maybe I would have handled it differently. The previous hotel booking was equally disappointing. I will upload pictures and will make this a new job to review these places.
