Sympathetically designed hotel giving excellent accommodation coupled with wonderfully maintained garden areas which were full of wildlife. Convenient for Puerto Jimenez airport and town. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great night tours, fishing trips which set off from private jetty were very popular and that was also a great place for a sundowner!

Tons of wildlife in this area even by the pool. Excellent facilities, excellent staff. Will recommend to everyone.

Property under construction with noise but they are pet friendly and good staff members with very good service!

Great stay. Only problems were construction noise. Internet out for one day. TV out for two days. 2 suggestions: get an electric cart instead of a diesel one which is loud and polutes. Tone down all the music by the bar and pool or put on/off switches on the speakers for people who don't want to hear it. Food is excellent. Staff are excellent.

This is such a gem of a place. The service was impeccable and the staff are so lovely, it made our stay even more special. There loads of activities that travelers can choose to do as well. The pool and area surrounding is so relaxing, tropical and tranquil. There are a plethora of amazing birds and other species to see on the property itself or just a short walk! You can also rent bikes and head into Puerto Jimenez which is lovely and special too. What an amazing property and spectacular getaway!

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir haben spontan noch zwei weitere Nächte verlängert. Die Lage ist toll, man kann super am Pool entspannen und es gibt im Ort einige Touranbieter für Corcovado Nationalpark oder Golfo Dulce.

Fantastic experience with my 13 and 15 year old kids. Beautiful pool, access to incredible wildlife and activities, wonderful food. My kids said this was one of the best vacation experiences for them!

The place is great: great rooms, fantastic beds, great pool, nice premises. But you will not have a typical Costa Rican experience if you are looking for something authentic. Yet nothing to regret.

Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter der Flughafenpiste (was allerdings nicht störend ist) in einem sehr schönen Parkgelände. Die Struktur ist ziemlich neu und alles ist noch gut in Schuss. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und geräumig, bloß das Fenster war an der Außenseite stark verschmutzt. Es gibt einen schönen Pool mit ausreichend Liegen und einer Poolbar, die Drinks, Essen und Snacks anbietet. Badetücher und sogar Sonnencreme gibt's ebenfalls. Parkplatz ist ausreichend vorhanden. Frühstück hatten wir nicht und können wir nicht beurteilen. Um zum Ort und zum Pier zu gelangen muss man den Flughafen umrunden. Das geht auch zu Fuß, wenn man will. Am ersten Tag gab es kein Internet, das lag aber offenbar nicht am Hotel, sondern am Provider. Wirklich gesagt hat man uns das beim Check-in aber nicht. Später wurde uns dann aber ein Info-Brief vor die Tür gelegt. Etwas ärgerlich was es schon, aber in dieser Ecke von Costa Rica muss man vielleicht damit rechnen. Mit Ausnahme einer Rezeptionistin beim Check-in war das Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich.

The hot tub was not hot. The hotel was nice what i expect from a HILTON but the activities were overpriced for what was offered. There was not much to do in the area unless it was booked through the hotel which was overprized. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean and modern what i would expect. The food at the bar was not good at all only the dinning room option was.

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is fantastic.

Botanika Osa Hotel by Hilton is an excellent option if you want to be away from big cities. The people is extremely kind and keep the property in an amazing conditions. If we plan to go to Costa Rica again we will go to Botanika again without any doubt

I recently spent 7 nights at Botanika Resort in Puerto Jimenez, and it was a great experience. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. My room was comfortable, and the AC worked well, which made a big difference in the tropical heat. The resort itself is set in a beautiful, natural environment, adding to the overall relaxing experience. I’d recommend Botanika to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed place to stay in Puerto Jimenez.

Really lovely place with a great pool that really anchors the entire resort. Our room was clean and comfortable though there was a weird beeping sound that was almost constant in our building through out our trip and there were at least 3 brief power outages during our visit.

Pros. The buldings are amazing, the design is 5 stars, everything, the doors and windows are sound proof, the details are very well done so you feel in a beautiful place. Cons. The staff is not well trained and your room could be not ready at the time of check in and they will tell you that the people took lunch so you need to wait for them. My suit room was late and their excuse was "the room is very big and the cleaning people needed to have lunch before cleaning it" they did not even offered a drink or nothing for the wait, they thought we just needed to wait for their lack of organization on their staff working hours. I was worries than the security will be sleeping at night as they seems to be a big confusion on expectations on the people schedules. Normally in this line of hotels in Costa Rica you get better costumer service. For example at breakfast 1 hour before the end, they took the food that I like it and was not replaced, I was the only one that took that food and the dish was like half full, felt like they did not wanted me to eat more haha for $30 (with tax) buffet you expect a bit more thought the food was very tasty. By the way as the room was not ready aroun 3:30 my wife went to demand some explanation and again nothing was offeres until she demanded but we got something, but you will nees to demand and that is not the intention, they just wanted us to wait for their disorganization and again they mentioned we got the big room like was our fault

Lovely new hotel with gorgeous gardens and grounds. Large standard rooms. Enjoyed the complimentary boat trip to the beach and beach club.

Lovely accommodations! The staff were amazingly helpful. A great place to unwind and relax!

Disastrous check-in! They kept telling us our room was about ready... finally got our room close to 6pm (we arrived at 3pm!!)... the staff was apologetic for the inordinate delay with a gift voucher... The facilities are nice with a nice big pool... Food was OK (large buffet).. Brand new high end hotel... felt a little out of place in remote Puerto Jimenez.

Property rules would not allow that I be picked up at the pier for fishing day. And there was another issue to stupid to recite here. Not great customer service.

I arrived at noon and it took them 3 hours to prepare a Standard King Size Room. It was a shame, as there were many other guests who arrived in the meantime - They could directly get into their rooms. Perhaps its their policy to let guests wait until the actual Check-in, perhaps its just bad management. In any case it is not what you would expect of a hotel in that price range.

Dining options are very limited. Staff at restaurants were very good. Shuttle service is unreliable. Many simple requests were not met, such as transfers to pier even if payment was necessary. When hotel is at full capacity, service and training is a lot more noticeable.

We really liked the rooms, the service and the hotel was very comfortable. What we didn’t liked about the hotel was that the reservation didn’t had the right date and we had to wait 2 hours until we could enter our room. Although it was great

Great Staff all of them were very attentive. Great service in all the areas. The best option in the area definitively one place I will go again with my family

This was a hilton resort hotel, not what I had thought. Too far from town to walk so mainly ate at pool bar as cheaper. Staff there, especially Johan were great.

Beautiful new hotel. Prices are high and fees/surcharges were over $100 per night Room service for two ice cream scoops was $32 It was very well designed. Pool bar is buzzing.

El lugar es precioso, si nos cobraron por una porcion de helados 4mil mas imp en un postre que se suponia venía con helado, el restaurante en si comida rica pero si con precios excesivos En total un postre de 9mil mas impuestos es una locura.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the surrounding area is perfect for a little walking through the jungle and beyond. It’s so convenient to have three restaurants right there and the food and drinks were delicious. Nice pool area, too. Wonderful staff! Highly recommend it!
