Perfect for a couples getaway. Walking distance to several of the local shops and restaurants and the beach. Full kitchen was very nice. Great grocery store near by and we used the grill on property for dinner a couple nights as well.

I LOVE this place so much that this was a return trip. It is right in the heart of downtown New Buffalo and in walking distance to everything. The spa, the fireplace, the courtyard, the fluffy bedding, the sound of rain on the skylights ... sheer perfection. I'd live here if I could.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 days at the inn. The experience was amazing. Lots of eats and the beach is a nice walk from the inn. The staff was very friendly. It was quiet and relaxing. Bonus the room had a tub/jacuzzi in the bedroom!

This is a great little inn with great service. The bed was super cozy, the big bathtub was great, and I made full use of the kitchen. They were quick to respond with a need for extra dish soap. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very quiet, peaceful, and private space. Close to everything but in a neighborhood and not sardined into hotels, resorts, or rental condo’s. The perfect amount of eclectic/vintage and modern amenities. My wife and I loved it.

This Inn is just lovely! So clean and spacious, everything you need and then some. We were extremely comfortable and pleased with our experience at the inn and will certainly come back. Close to everything you need, and far enough away to still have peace and quiet.

We really liked this place. The rooms were clean. We stayed in the SS Post Boy suite. We had to contact the owner once and things were resolved quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice quiet property,, clean and comfortable. Only drawback is office is not open very often. If they listed their hours it would help a lot.

Room was great for the night. Longer stay I would book a larger room. Liked that it was close to everything. The no contact check in was easy enough. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and had everything we needed for the night. Lots of lighting options were great, as well as the fireplace. Got a little loud when trucks went by since room was close to road. Bathroom didnt heat up as well as other room. Sliding door to outside porch did not lock, the screen door did luckily. There was a stop bar to prevent entry, but still a bit concerning. Otherwise would definitely book here again. Didnt have time to try any spa services, hopefully next time.

Got a little loud when trucks went by since room was close to road. Bathroom didnt heat up as well as other room. Sliding door to outside porch did not lock, the screen door did luckily. There was a stop bar to prevent entry, but still a bit concerning. Otherwise would definitely book here again. Didnt have time to try any spa services, hopefully next time.

Room was great for the night. Longer stay I would book a larger room. Liked that it was close to everything. The no contact check in was easy enough. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and had everything we needed for the night. Lots of lighting options were great, as well as the fireplace. Nice little place to stay close to downtown and walk to explore and eat. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and small kitchen. Nice big shower & tub in huge bathroom. Cute clean little suites in an older complex that has been taken care of. Nice character with the fire pit and lighted boarded pathways.

While I really wanted to love this little spot, I just could not get over how outdated it was. You're paying for a "boutique" hotel and the location (the location *is* very good). However for what we spent to stay here, we could have stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown Chicago. Pros Location - Extremely close to all downtown restaurants, shops, grocery, library, etc. F fairly easy walk to the beach with a kids playground Staff - Kind staff, good communication. Ease of access - no keys, just an easy passcode Cons - extremely outdated (e.g. tiled bathroom ceiling, metal kitchen cabinets) Loud location on main street (but great location for shops) Signs of leaking windows, rotting wood on outside decks Ultimately, I'd save myself some money, find a place a little further and just pay to park. Also, yes...all of that was in the pictures on their website but it didn't feel as 'warm' to me, so if this style is for you, please don't let this review hold you back. I was told that the property does have a new owner (who is lovely) as of April/May 2026, so changes may be on the way.

It was overall a good experience! The room was clean and orderly but the only issue my girlfriend and I ran into was some bugs that were in the jacuzzi tub. These bugs were present in the jets as they only appeared after we had started to fill it up. We were only staying for a night so it only slightly disturbed our stay.

This was a wonderful relaxing stay. I had the studio Suite (Goodrich) and it was perfect. My only complaint is I wish tbere was a TV in the Bathroom where the Jacuzzi tub was but overall I wi be going back there
