We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Captain Grant's!!! First, Carol and Mike are the most gracious and lovely hosts. Mike really bonded with our little dog, Lilly, playing with her on the spacious 4 acre lawn. The breakfasts each morning were magical, giving the guests an opportunity to get to know each other and the host, Carol. Carol Grace's us with great stories about the history and renovations of the pre-Revolutionary War home. It is such a lovely personal touch that helps make this stay stand out in our memories of our travels. This inn is filled with beautiful antiques, books, a spacious kitchen, and comfortable furniture. Our bed was really comfortable and our room was cozy. We found ourselves wanting to spend more of our time relaxing at the inn rather than out seeing the sights of the area. We and Lilly have found a friend for life in Mike, and can't wait to return to spend more time with him and at this lovely inn!

Not sure where to begin! It was just great. From the staff, to the accommodations & amenities, to the breakfast in the morning. It is a gem and I highly recommend it for a very unique stay!
