1) if you can, get the room with terrace / balcony. The view is really nice. 2) Walk a couple of steps to cafes, restaurants and local grocery shops and even key sites in Riomaggiore, because it's small. 5 to 15 minutes typically. 3) Host was very helpful, balancing attention and privacy. 4) Quiet and comfortable bed. Note there are 2 ways to get to the accommodation from the train station. One with stairs (Riomaggiore is after all on hills), another up slope but no stairs. We chose the second as we had heavier luggages and it was manageable.

We loved our stay, the terrace was amazing, we spent lots of time in the mornings and late at night drinking wine. Facilities are excellent, lovely helpful host. We would highly recommend. Just remember if you want a high view, you need to climb to get to the view.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. We were lucky and we were the only guests in the house Before arriving at the house we corresponded with the hosts and they sent us all the necessary details for arrival. Although we did not meet the hosts during our stay, they were very nice and got back to me with any questions. The house has no parking because it is in a car-free area. The parking is about a 4 minute walk downhill. Back at the parking with all the luggage, we called a taxi because of the ascent

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! Our room had a huge terrace with the most incredible view. Gianluca was so friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. He gave us all the information needed for trains, hiking and inside knowledge of the best restaurants in town. What an incredible room with comfy bed, comfy pillows and great facilities.

This little place was built deal. We had a view of the entire village and the sea. The clock tower was charming, with its bell chiming on the hour and half hour (starts at 6:00am - ends late in the eve). The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Best bed I’ve had in Italy so far.

This was an excellent room! The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean. The view from our balcony was beautiful overlooking the sea and beautiful flowers on the railing. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to family and friends. We even had a kitty visit us, which we liked.

The room was clean and spacious with a view! They replied to all our inquiries and allowed us to store our luggages before check in. The only thing is I wish is they did not only provide one all in one soap. There should be a hand soap for the sink for washing hands after using the toilet. Other than that everything was great and it is a good base to see the Cinque Terre! Thank you.

Excellent place to stay!! Highly recommend!! Completely remodeled, spacious, clean, the owner is very friendly and accomdating. We would have stayed longer if we could have!! We would walk to a hillside park with a bench to watch the sunset overlooking the sea, and share a bottle of wine! Perfect place to end a perfect day!!

Beautiful room with a beautiful view from balcony. Owner was helpful and gave lots of good recommendations. Only downside was (not the hotels fault) we had a power cut for a few hours on our last night when it was stinking hot outside and had no aircon. So we didn’t get much sleep at all until the power came back on. Otherwise highly recommend!

Kommunikasjonen med verten var rask og god fra før vi ankom og gjennom hele oppholdet. Vi spurte om baggasjeoppbevaring og fikk mulighet til tidlig innsjekk hos kjempehyggelig renholdspersonale. Rommet var greit nok, god seng, gratis vann og kaffe/ te. Beliggenheten er nesten på toppen av byen, for å unngå trapper må man følge Via Colombo når man kommer ut av tunellen fra jernbanestasjonen og gå helt opp forbi toalettene på høyre hånd, der tar man skarpt til høyre opp Via di Loca og får overnattingsstedet på venstre hånd etter noen meter. Romslig uteplass med utsikt over byen og havet, bord med to stoler og solsenger. Minus var: manglende blendingsgardiner, skoddene på verandadøra kunne ikke lukkes helt, og bare den ene døra ut kunne åpnes. Kirkeklokkene i denne byen ringer hver halvtime gjennom hele natta, så det kan være vanskelig å sove. Men veldig flott sted å bo, hvis man skal bo i denne byen. Vil man ha morgensol, må man bo på andre sida av hovedgata. En siste ting: nabokatten kom plutselig på besøk, så ikke ha døra åpen ubevoktet 😉

A great find on the Cinque Terre. A very convenient location (the whole area is hills and stairs so no way around that) in what I feel was the less touristy of the 5 towns; you could actually walk around without bumping into people. Room was great although pretty barebones. Receptionist at front desk was very helpful, but will say it’s not a standard hotel so we saw her at Checkin and then never saw anyone else in lobby or anywhere for the three days we were there, ie no one working the desk, which added to the peace and quiet.

Love it and for sure will stay again if I return to Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre. Gianluca was excellent in assisting and finding for us a Taxi and recommendations of Restaurants.

The host was very gracious, allowed us to check in early as well as store our bags on the last day we were checking out. The room was spacious and comfortable and the balcony was lovely. The location is ideal, We will definitely be back.

We booked here for the view and we were NOT disappointed. Communication from the property could have alleviated alot of issues with arrival (how to avoid many stairs, time to drop off bags etc). Staff only avaialble for an hour ot two in the later afternoon. Breakfast option not acceptable IMO - too far and very poor service there..need a closer option like Old School for imporived experience. But again - the view is worth it.

I like that there was a balcony to give an option for an outdoor space. Gianluca was an excellent communicator. He responded quickly to questions. He suggested ways to receive discounts. He alerted us of bad weather and went out of his way to make a survival kit and delivered it personally to each guest. I would happily recommend his rooms to others.

A great find on the Cinque Terre. A great find on the Cinque Terre. A very convenient location (the whole area is hills and stairs so no way around that) in what I feel was the less touristy of the 5 towns; you could actually walk around without bumping into people. Room was great although pretty barebones. We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. We were lucky and we were the only guests in the house Before arriving at the house we corresponded with the hosts and they sent us all the necessary details for arrival. Although we did not meet the hosts during our stay, they were very nice and got back to me with any questions. The house has no parking because it is in a car-free area. The parking is about a 4 minute walk downhill. Back at the parking with all the luggage, we called a taxi because of the ascent

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! Our room had a huge terrace with the most incredible view. Gianluca was so friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. He gave us all the information needed for trains, hiking and inside knowledge of the best restaurants in town. What an incredible room with comfy bed, comfy pillows and great facilities.

Quiet and beautiful site. Easy access to restaurants and the train. It is Cinque Terre, so be ready to walk uphill - but not too far. Manager greeted us and was very helpful. We especially appreciated the restaurant recommendations (affordable but good, expensive but good, and not worth it). Really a lovely place. Would definitely stay there again.

Le Giare Rooms was simply perfect. From the very start, we were impressed by their willingness to stow our luggage many hours before check in. From check in to check out, Viola was incredible - she provided an introductory "lay of the land" that included recommendations for everything from transportation to wine bars. She was so kind and responsive! Our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Bonus: Le Giare did not have many stairs to climb compared to many other accommodations in Cinque Terre. The gem of this property was our balcony that had the most magical view of the buildings and the sea. Watching sunsets here was unforgettable. The property location is quite convenient to access, as it is right off of the main road in Riomaggiore - only a short walk to restaurants/shops but tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Lastly, we really enjoyed the free breakfast each morning at Bar Stazione - this was a really wonderful touch included in our stay. Thank you to Viola and the Le Giare team for providing top notch accommodations! We will be back :)

We booked here for the view and we were NOT disappointed. Communication from the property could have alleviated alot of issues with arrival (how to avoid many stairs, time to drop off bags etc). Staff only avaialble for an hour ot two in the later afternoon. Breakfast option not acceptable IMO - too far and very poor service there..need a closer option like Old School for imporived experience. But again - the view is worth it.

We loved the view from our room, right in front of the sea. The room was super clean, environmental friendly, and walkable. Breakfast was served through a local restaurant which was 15 min walking from the hotel itself with great 2 options for omlette, orange juice and a cup of coffee of your choice. The only issue was that there was no safebox in the room and we had to leave our passports (which the manager ensured us it is a very safe town). Just have it in mind that if like us you travel with big luggages, the taxi service in town is not very great and you may need to carry your luggages to the top of the hill :D Great exercise for me... Iadored the cats in the balcony of our room...

Magnifique auberge dont 3 Chambres avec balcon qui donnent sur la ville et vue sur la mer. Lits très confortables, frigo, grande salle de bain. Bien situé , un peu à l’écart donc paisible mais près du centre. Riomaggiore est un superbe village.

Well…I got the room on the ground floor which is a room for disable people. Pay the same price as the other guests who had a balcony with a sea view. I got a view to a wall 😏 If you book here try to make the landlord confirm that you will get a room on top and not on the ground floor where people literally pass in front of your door so you have to close the stutters. So you just stay in a dark room 😏 But don’t expect an answer in the chat function. Send the same request five (5) but never got an answer.
