We had such an amazing time at this rental. First, there’s tons of space for two, if not four people. Kitchen is fully stocked, the washer and dryer were life savers while we snowboarded for the weekend, and the place was super clean, with extra towels and toiletries available including hair dryers! Place is so conveniently located downtown. We walked to tons of restaurants and shops that aren’t available on the mountain. Best part was you could finish the day on the mountain by taking four o’clock run all the way down and walking not even 10 steps to the front door of the condo facility. Not only that, but the bus stop for the various lifts from Peak 8 to 9 is right in front of the condo facility too. Took maybe 5 minutes each time for us to be from our room and on a lift. Hot tubs were generally not busy outside of “end of lift times” and easy to access from the room. The lobby was one of the best parts too — valet snowboard / ski checking so you don’t have to do it or worry about it!! So so so convenient. The lobby bar was also amazing to have when we wanted to pop in the hot tub or sit in the room / on the balcony for a drink. Overall one of the best rentals we’ve had on the mountain ever for location, amenities, and general comfort. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

We stayed in a space managed by VACASA and it was not ideal. Since we were renting from VACASA (I didn't realize this when I made the reservation) they had absolutely no amenities. We had to buy a pack-play for our baby because they didn't provide them. They suggested we rent one for $200 and the front desk at the Lodge wouldn't let us use theirs because we weren't technically their guests. When we needed towels we were told to go to the VACASA office location to get them which was three blocks away. The pool and hot tub were out of commission for most of the time we were there. The location is great but we will not be staying there with VACASA again - make sure you check when you reserve you are with the actual lodge!

The ski off being right across the street was super convenient. The tiki bar being in the building was extremely convenient. Great location, very friendly staff, and hot hot tubs. The check-in process was a little difficult through expedia since the unit we rented was not technically owned by the lodge, so everything needed to be done in person about a 10 minute walk away. We didn't get access to our joint room, nor did we get bath towels when we first checked in, so we needed to return, and the lodge staff couldn't help us as we were not their guests. Otherwise, great stay, would come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this was the perfect size for us (3). I did not explore the outside areas but was told the hot-tubs, sauna/steamroom were awesome by my daughter. Location was nice as you could hop on the shuttle right outside the door to get to the mountain (quickly) and then ski down 4 O'clock to get home (take off skis and walk across the road). The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pick up and drop off keys at a different location but it was VERY close so not a huge deal. The unit was nice with a comfy king bed. Sofa sleeper had lots of blankets and extra bedding. The unit stayed pretty warm even though we turned heat down. We could have opened windows but didn't need to go that far. They also have a fan and humidifier. Downstairs there is coffee, hot cocoa with some good mix ins (plus tea in the unit and downstairs).

Checking processes is stupid, we had to walk 15 mins to another hotel to get the keys and back another 15 after skiing. Room had temperature settings fixed to very hot, we slept witht the window open the entire night, bed was mediocre for the price we paid. Hot tub was closed and had to take a hot bath in my bathtub. No breakfast, i would recommend find a days inn or something and save some money

The location of this charming hotel was very convenient to all of the attractions in Breckenridge. You could literally walk out of the hotel and you were 20 steps from one of the wonderful outdoor eateries that sits right a right next to the idyllic stream that runs through the heart of the town. Parking was quite tricky though as guests park in the “underground” garage. Since we were staying during the weekend, the garage was packed and the parking inside was very tight. On a positive note, they provide a coffee bar to guests all day and night. The coffee was perfect!

The River Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property but beware when booking through Expedia. I booked a room over the weekend of July 11-14 through Expedia and when I went to check in, there was no record of my reservation. The lady at the front desk assisting me finally figured out that my reservation was being held under Vacasa?!?! I thought I booked through Expedia which I have done many times over the years and once I figured out who to call and where to go get my room key and parking pass , which were offsite from the property, I made the journey to pick these up from Vacasa’s office. At this point I figured out they stuck me into a vacation rental which is not affiliated with the hotel so the amenities were not included either. Thanks Expedia . Once I opened the door to the room W220, I was greeted with the ugliest green carpet, walls that were dirty and laden with handprints, food and whatever else was smeared/stuck on them. I couldn’t find the bedroom but soon figured out there wasn’t one because of the Murphy bed on the wall. While figuring out which was going to be more comfortable for my wife and I to sleep on, the Murphy be dor the sofa pullout, I noticed there was no air conditioning but 15-20 dead millers/moths in the heat registers mounted on the wall. The screen for the patio door was leaning against the wall. This place is a total dump. Do not book with Expedia or Vacasa. What a joke this vacation was. Thanks Expedia

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at this property. First, the check-location is OFF-SITE from the actual property. Makes a ton of sense. Nothing like unloading your luggage from the Uber only to find out you need to go another mile down the road to collect your room key. The photos listed on Hotels.com look NOTHING like the actual bedrooms. What you get is a crummy bedroom that hasn’t been changed or cleaned since the 1970’s. I feel like I got completely scammed. Additionally, the property manager never bothered to respond to any of my requests during my stay. The is NO AIR CONDITIONING at this property. I specifically filtered search results for properties that had A/C, and it’s clearly listed on their hotels.com posting. (See photos attached showing NO air conditioning) There was no hot water, the washing machine did not work, and the screen door on the patio was broken and leaning against the balcony fence. 2 of the 3 lamps provided did not have light bulbs. Half the outlets did not work. Condo was filthy. Marks all over the walls, the furniture, and left over food stains on the dishes. Want to enjoy TV? Have fun using the 6 remotes to access your 1990s DVD player on a 16 inch screen. I fully expect to be reimbursed for this, and will not stop until this listing is removed from Hotels.com - to anyone reading this, move on, find an established reputable company for you and your family.

Had some troubles with cleanliness, but management was quick to respond to our concerns. Fantastic location for skiing and going into town, couldn't have asked for better. The space was great for 2 people, with full bathrooms on each level and a fully equipt kitchen.

We have been to Breckenridge 3 times and have stayed at River Mountian Lodge every time. Very convenient location to Main Street, restaurants and shops. Building is starting to show its age but the unit was nicely appointed and clean.

On the 2nd night, upstairs unit was doing work/moving until 11:30 which kept us awake. I wouldn’t expect it to go that late into the night. The work resumed 8:00 am. Which is a readable time but under the circumstances prevented us from sleeping in. Otherwise the stay was wonderful!

Not what I rented…did NOT match the photos at all aside from the floor plan. I requested the room I rented and was refused. Flooring was all old carpet aside from toilet area and kitchen sink area. Patio was open railing not solid as shown, very dated with several repairs needed (toilet was clogged upon arrival and kitchen fixture handle was barely hanging on), mattress was cheap and hard with old cardboard underneath, bedding felt old, fan supplied was falling apart/safety hazard. It was VERY noisy from above. It was in a good location and we did feel safe. Rented 4 nights but only 1 coffee packet and not enough filters. I received paperwork and a email requiring me to empty all trashes, strip the bed and run and unload the dishwasher before leaving.

Great and convenient location. Older property. Not filthy but unclean unit with dated appliances/furniture. Friendly staff. Property manager always available and very responsive. Requested house keeping, but never came. Requested maintenance regarding toilets, came right away. Good wifi.

The location was amazing. The condo was nice and clean…a little dated. A little disappointed that we couldn’t use the fireplace on a couple of cold evenings. Overall…we would recommend.

Right off of Main Street and close to Peak 9 and the Gondola. Good location in general. The condo was very clean and easy to get in and and out. The condo is a bit dated. The upstairs bed is comfortable but the lighting is inadequate and it is hard to find your items as there are only two small lamps. The left side of the bed is hard to get out of due to the ceiling. No vacuum or broom to sweep up the dirt from being outside on the dirty snowing roads. Overall, a comfortable experience. Would try a different condo not right next to the outside hot tub as it was loud at night from guests using the hot tub after hours.

The property was very clean, nice locations to shopping and dining. We only had 1 issue with the hide a bed, springs were missing so when you laid on the mattress it would sink down. We had to take mattress off the and place on the floor.

The River Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property but beware when booking through Expedia. I booked a room over the weekend of July 11-14 through Expedia and when I went to check in, there was no record of my reservation. The lady at the front desk assisting me finally figured out that my reservation was being held under Vacasa?!?! I thought I booked through Expedia which I have done many times over the years and once I figured out who to call and where to go get my room key and parking pass , which were offsite from the property, I made the journey to pick these up from Vacasa’s office. At this point I figured out they stuck me into a vacation rental which is not affiliated with the hotel so the amenities were not included either. Thanks Expedia . Once I opened the door to the room W220, I was greeted with the ugliest green carpet, walls that were dirty and laden with handprints, food and whatever else was smeared/stuck on them. I couldn’t find the bedroom but soon figured out there wasn’t one because of the Murphy bed on the wall. While figuring out which was going to be more comfortable for my wife and I to sleep on, the Murphy be dor the sofa pullout, I noticed there was no air conditioning but 15-20 dead millers/moths in the heat registers mounted on the wall. The screen for the patio door was leaning against the wall. This place is a total dump. Do not book with Expedia or Vacasa. What a joke this vacation was. Thanks Expedia

The ski off being right across the street was super convenient. The tiki bar being in the building was extremely convenient. Great location, very friendly staff, and hot hot tubs. The check-in process was a little difficult through expedia since the unit we rented was not technically owned by the lodge, so everything needed to be done in person about a 10 minute walk away. We didn't get access to our joint room, nor did we get bath towels when we first checked in, so we needed to return, and the lodge staff couldn't help us as we were not their guests. Otherwise, great stay, would come back.

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at this property. First, the check-location is OFF-SITE from the actual property. Makes a ton of sense. Nothing like unloading your luggage from the Uber only to find out you need to go another mile down the road to collect your room key. The photos listed on Hotels.com look NOTHING like the actual bedrooms. What you get is a crummy bedroom that hasn’t been changed or cleaned since the 1970’s. I feel like I got completely scammed. Additionally, the property manager never bothered to respond to any of my requests during my stay. The is NO AIR CONDITIONING at this property. I specifically filtered search results for properties that had A/C, and it’s clearly listed on their hotels.com posting. (See photos attached showing NO air conditioning) There was no hot water, the washing machine did not work, and the screen door on the patio was broken and leaning against the balcony fence. 2 of the 3 lamps provided did not have light bulbs. Half the outlets did not work. Condo was filthy. Marks all over the walls, the furniture, and left over food stains on the dishes. Want to enjoy TV? Have fun using the 6 remotes to access your 1990s DVD player on a 16 inch screen. I fully expect to be reimbursed for this, and will not stop until this listing is removed from Hotels.com - to anyone reading this, move on, find an established reputable company for you and your family.

Condo was great! Upon arrival the checkin process is really easy and simple to complete. The location in town was incredible! Basically free parking to then walk all around town while not having to worry about paying for parking every hour. The condo was extremely accommodating with some surprises in the kitchen, we were amazed to find the level of attention they had in providing some of the most basic needs when cooking with things like olive oil, salt and pepper, etc. with holding the theme of being honest in this review, the only downside we truly found was the bed. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I had ever slept on, but it always could have just been our individual condo booked! Other than this fact this is one of the best places to stay, especially for the budget!

We could not have asked for a more convenient location. It was a short walk to all of the amazing restaurants and store Breckenridge offers. It is also a short distance to the slopes. The garage was a HUGE perk! Cleanliness, check-in/out, and communication was impeccable. We would love to stay here again.

This was the perfect place for me and my boyfriend to stay at for a ski trip. It’s a 5 minute walk to downtown/ restaurants/ shops. There is a bus stop across the street that has buses going to the different lifts. Also a ski rental shop about 200 ft away very convenient for getting gear. The four o clock run ends right across from the lodge. Such a nice vacation and stay!

We had such an amazing time at this rental. First, there’s tons of space for two, if not four people. Kitchen is fully stocked, the washer and dryer were life savers while we snowboarded for the weekend, and the place was super clean, with extra towels and toiletries available including hair dryers! Place is so conveniently located downtown. We walked to tons of restaurants and shops that aren’t available on the mountain. Best part was you could finish the day on the mountain by taking four o’clock run all the way down and walking not even 10 steps to the front door of the condo facility. Not only that, but the bus stop for the various lifts from Peak 8 to 9 is right in front of the condo facility too. Took maybe 5 minutes each time for us to be from our room and on a lift. Hot tubs were generally not busy outside of “end of lift times” and easy to access from the room. The lobby was one of the best parts too — valet snowboard / ski checking so you don’t have to do it or worry about it!! So so so convenient. The lobby bar was also amazing to have when we wanted to pop in the hot tub or sit in the room / on the balcony for a drink. Overall one of the best rentals we’ve had on the mountain ever for location, amenities, and general comfort. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

The ski off being right across the street was super convenient. The tiki bar being in the building was extremely convenient. Great location, very friendly staff, and hot hot tubs. The check-in process was a little difficult through expedia since the unit we rented was not technically owned by the lodge, so everything needed to be done in person about a 10 minute walk away. We didn't get access to our joint room, nor did we get bath towels when we first checked in, so we needed to return, and the lodge staff couldn't help us as we were not their guests. Otherwise, great stay, would come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this was the perfect size for us (3). I did not explore the outside areas but was told the hot-tubs, sauna/steamroom were awesome by my daughter. Location was nice as you could hop on the shuttle right outside the door to get to the mountain (quickly) and then ski down 4 O'clock to get home (take off skis and walk across the road). The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pick up and drop off keys at a different location but it was VERY close so not a huge deal. The unit was nice with a comfy king bed. Sofa sleeper had lots of blankets and extra bedding. The unit stayed pretty warm even though we turned heat down. We could have opened windows but didn't need to go that far. They also have a fan and humidifier. Downstairs there is coffee, hot cocoa with some good mix ins (plus tea in the unit and downstairs).

Checking processes is stupid, we had to walk 15 mins to another hotel to get the keys and back another 15 after skiing. Room had temperature settings fixed to very hot, we slept witht the window open the entire night, bed was mediocre for the price we paid. Hot tub was closed and had to take a hot bath in my bathtub. No breakfast, i would recommend find a days inn or something and save some money

The location of this charming hotel was very convenient to all of the attractions in Breckenridge. You could literally walk out of the hotel and you were 20 steps from one of the wonderful outdoor eateries that sits right a right next to the idyllic stream that runs through the heart of the town. Parking was quite tricky though as guests park in the “underground” garage. Since we were staying during the weekend, the garage was packed and the parking inside was very tight. On a positive note, they provide a coffee bar to guests all day and night. The coffee was perfect!

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber ohne Zimmerservice (für 8 Nächte). Das Hotel selber ist langsam etwas heruntergekommen…

The individual rooms are outdated and in serious need of renovation. Parking situation is very cramped and, on our last day, half of it was inexplicably closed off. This property allows individuals to own condos and rent them out while you can also book directly with the property. We didn't realize this and went with the lower priced option which was an individually owned property. As a result when I went to the front desk to ask for additional pillows and blankets, I was told they couldn't help us. There were several amenities that were helpful such as the kitchen being stocked with seasonings, pots, and pans, and enough laundry detergent to do 2 loads of laundry. However, the downsides included a toilet that didn't flush properly, towels the size of a wash cloth, and just a general need to update the overall appearance. Overall, our stay was good and the staff was friendly & helpful with directions and info about the town, but for the price, I had hoped for a bit more.

The room was apparently privately owned which I only discovered a week prior. One lady at the desk was helpful otherwise they did not have any interest in our concerns. Floors were being redone so we had several hours that we could not get to the room. 1. Screen not on door 2. None of the remotes worked the tv. 3. Windows would not stay open 4. Murphy bed very uncomfortable. 5. One glass and 2 coffee mugs in cabinet. 6. Parking garage very dangerous out the in and in the out during repairs and nobody there to guide the traffic. The lodge itself has seen better days what a total disappointment
