Really enjoyed the stay. We were in one of the new beach houses in the bay. Once there I finally realised the difference between cocoon and crystal (I think :-) Crystal is the last of the 18 houses and has one of the walls fully in glass as opposed to Cocoon that have standard walls. These new houses are simply beatiful - a perfect "love nest" - everything is nice even if we have to change room as the flush of our toilet wasn't working properly (really seamless swap - however I found the houses facing West - EVEN numbers - are better than the ones facing East, simply cause it's nice to chill on the patio and face the sunset. Breakfast has so many options and so has dinner (incl fresh grilled seafood). We didn't have a chance to test all the facilities but there is a tennis court and padel court, nice gym and a SPA. Pools are really nice and the beach beds are nicely spaced and plenty of shade to chill or sun to catch your tan. Overall a magic stay and would definitely get back

Stayed 1 night

I’m still a little shocked at the room we were provided given the $300USD per night cost. It was in shambles. So out of date. Spiders and ants in the restroom. Crumbling walls. We decided to tough it out since we were there for one night and mainly to use the beach (which was very nice). But we have a 11 month old baby and when we got back from dinner there was a giant water bug or cockroach running around the bathroom. I couldn’t have my baby sleeping in a crib with so many bugs around. I was shocked they gave us this room, knowing we had an infant and putting us all the way at the end, where the sounds from the nightly hotel entertainment were audible. When I showed reception a video of the bug, they gave us a new room right away. This room was much nicer and perhaps more in line with the cost but I think the room is probably even more expensive than the $322 we paid. The dinner buffet was lovely. The beach is huge and clean. The pool is outdated, mocktail was watered down. I would not recommend this hotel for the price tag but not sure what the other option around Saly would be.

300 euro was stolen from my room. This was not an opportunistic theft. The money was locked in my bag with a lock. So it took effort. I reported the theft and the procedure was explained but the outcome is nothing. 300 euro goes a very long way in Senegal so vacation budget gone to theft. On top of that the rooms are dilapidated. I have been stressed due to the theft my entire trip. All my items have been on constant lock yet they managed to steal.
