This hotel was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first time in the area but we will definitely return. There were weddings going on but it still didnt feel croweded. The outdoor pool was a huge bonus for me. We stayed on the 3rd floor and this is where the pool was so it was so convenient. Cant wait for our next stay.

Outstanding hotel. Outstanding staff! We came with travel sports kid's team and the staff and hotel was 100% outstanding. They even kept the pool open! No " required maintenance" the whole stay. Highly recommend

This was the worst Westin I have ever stayed in. I travel frequently for work and am a rewards member. I have alerted my company that no one should be booked at this hotel. There was no heat or hot water for the first two rooms and it was freezing cold in the room we ended up staying in. In addition, due to the cold, the restaurant was shut down. The fire alarm went off two times and we had to evacuate the building-this was due to the lack of heat in the restaurant. The room was filthy, the tub was rusted. As it was the holidays we had to stay there but I purchased my own cleaning materials to clean the bathroom and declined housekeeping for the duration of our stay. Corporate Westin should visit this hotel, invest in improving the conditions or close it altogether. It is a black-eye in their reputation. In addition, the staff were rude (i.e) we requested more towels and the women dropped it off without saying one word. It is a disgrace and I will question any Westin that I stay in. The one positive was there was plenty of parking-because there were no other guests.

The Westin is a nice property for events, the rooms are just a bit outdated, and I found my room wasn't prepared or cleaned very well. There were long hairs left on the bathroom floor, and I'm pretty sure toe-nail clippings on the rug. My room wasn't turned down between days. May have been a language barrier with the cleaning staff and some misunderstanding. The staff was nice, and the overall property was very nice. It just needs some upkeep.

Never stayed here before but what a gem! The room was very clean and very comfortable. Sat at the bar/restaurant and the atmosphere was nice. Everyone there was very friendly. Will definitely stay there again!

Phone in room never worked...told front desk first day, was never fixed. Shower water came down from overhead, impossible to take shower without getting hair wet. TV control worked poorly, ? Bad batteries? Ordered room service once, ordered red wine and it came up white (room service attendant apologized and fixed very quickly, she was really good!), Workout room had ellipticals with TV, but only if you paid for it...that's pretty cheap, considering room cost! Went out to car last day (Sunday)...about 7:30 am, glass wine bottle broken at the bottom, ready to enter a tire, in parking lot just behind car next to me.

The ac in the room is very weak. We were hot throughout the night. The lamp lights at the night stand were flickering. Poor water pressure. The ceiling in the shower was cracked, pealing, and there was mold. The room provided shampoo & conditioner but no body wash. The scent of the shampoo and conditioner was very nice. The bedding was nice and room smelled clean. There was only one attendant at check in and he was overly busy trying to sell the guest in front of us on their rewards program. Making check in longer than necessary. Overall the hotel common area was very nice and big however the room was decent at best and gave more of a motel vibe with upgraded bedding. We checked in at 8pm and they did grant us a delayed check out. We left at 12 instead of 11am normal check out time

Entire hotel was overrun by over-booked wedding parties. Service was horrible. Guests loud and partying until 2 am. Do not go to this hotel without calling in advance and asking about weddings (they booked 4 for the weekend).

Very comfortable bed, nice linens, clean room. I slept well. Maybe could use a refurb soon--not that it was in poor condition, but the carpet was showing some signs of age and the window shades didn't work very well and are starting to wear out on the sides. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would return.

The bed was not comfortable. It sagged in the middle. And the rooms were very dark. The view was of the roof. And the hotel staff was not very helpful. Also the hotel is not at all close to downtown Morristown. I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

This is a nice hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. I wish it had another light though, it could get a little dim. Took off a star because the free wifi was a pain to use. It would disconnect after a period of no activity, but then make you go through the sign-in page again. It also isn't free unless you are a Bonvoy member, which is kind of ridiculous as that is an expected amenity these days, but overall, this is a solid lodging option in Morristown.

I stayed here for a weekend while I had to visit a friend at Morristown Medical Center. The front desk people were fine, not super friendly but no where near rude. The bellhops Anthony and Mitchel were AMAZING. So friendly and helpful. My bathroom did break midway through my stay and they sent a bellhop with a new key within 5 min of the complaint. The only thing that annoyed me was the restaurant claims to be a wine bar but did not have any riesling by the glass. (Minior complaint) my actual stay was super cozy and super restful during this stressful time.

I have stayed at the Governor Morris several times and will stay there again when in Morristown. The hotel has a restaurant, but they should include at least a modest breakfast with the room. No other complaint. Nice place to stay.

We recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean and spacious, and the service was great. The atmosphere was lovely, and I have no complaints in that regard. We stayed there for a wedding, so there were quite a few of us, and it was very accommodating. However, there were a couple of minor issues. Given the price we paid, it would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, the washroom in our bedroom had a door that was difficult to open and close, as it kept slipping out of the track. There was also no fan in the washroom, which would have been helpful after showering.Despite these small inconveniences, everything else was fantastic, and I would strongly recommend this hotel. It's clean, quiet, and provided a pleasant stay.
