Batam center is not interesting. Harris Hotel is OK, close to the ferry terminal andopposite a large Shopping center. It has big rooms and a good pool. Restaurant is good, but relatively expensive.

The food was great, the swimming pool, the proximity to the ferry terminal was awesome! The staff were really friendly and I enjoyed my stay! I especially loved that I didn't have to rush and travel a great distance over time to the ferry terminal

Very old property with loud rumbling aircon noise, stuffy mouldy room smell, curtains that does not keep light out fully, and a bathroom light that shines so brightly into the main room whenever it’s switched on. makes zero sense to disturb another person’s sleep when you have to use the bathroom at night. lights used in room were also orange tone. pool was also not as shown in pictures . overall a really disappointing stay. would not recommend

Perfect hotel getaway! It was a good experience staying at Harris hotel. The staff of the hotel were very good and co-operative. Receptionist staff and others did their job perfectly. The housekeeping staff Mr Prikles also was very friendly and make us feel like home. Love the ambience, and the pool. Definitely coming back again soon! ♥️

There is a swimming pool which is rarely used. I went and realised that it has few safety issues. You can’t get into pool safely. The steps to get into the pool is narrow and slippery. Poor markings re depth. Appreciate if these are sorted as planning to come again next year

Didn't like having to walk through the dining room to access the gym and pool! Some decking boards around the pool felt unsafe when stepped on. Loved the welcome drink on check in and selection of different foods at breakfast, especially the Indonesian cruisine. Hotel is very walkable from the ferry terminal and Megamall. Overall a great stay!

Excellent location, next to Ferry Terminal n Mega Mall. Spacious/Nicely appointed & clean room. To include a writing pad n pen in the room will be great. Adequate facilities within hotels (spa, fitness, swimming pool, bar n restaurant) n the dance routine during breakfast is very much appreciated. Convenient location, short ride to the popular shopping areas/malls.

Good location. Booked for a night stay. Check in process was smooth. Went to the room and realize issues with the air conditioning. Call for help and it come after an hour long. The technician doesn't seems to know how to solve the problem. He ended up taking the cover off and i was totally shocked. The amount of dust on the filter was about an inch thick. My goodness. I wonder when was the last time they clean it. After awhile, nothing is solve and we request to change our room but they have to check and get back to us @ 4pm due to availability. Waited till 4pm but no one get back to us. I decided to not pursue the problem as it was just for a night. Overall it wasn't a pleasant stay. Bad response time. Sorry but i wont come again...

Excellent, friendly and efficient service staff. Breakfast not much variety especially for western breakfast items. Rooms need upgrading as quite rundown.Towels do not look clean. Dinning furniture old and need replacement.

Very pleasantly surprised by this reasonably priced hotel. Very clean and spacious room with daily cleaning and replenishment of water/coffee. Receptionist JoJo was very lovely and gave me a warm welcome. Would definitely like to stay here again when I return to Batam in the future.

I thought I had the perfect room. A corner room, high floor, and a sea view. For 3 nights, the aircon switched itself off in the night. The gaps at the window curtains let in the sunlight making it impossible to continue sleeping. The cleaners supplies was opposite my room and I could hear them pushing and loading their carts. All in, I had 3 nights of not restful sleep. I have stayed at this hotel everytime I come to Batam but maybe it's time for a change.

A very clean, tidy and modern hotel with courteous, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, comfortable and well maintained. Hotel has a good selection of amenities, including swimming pool, gym and conference rooms. The location is about a 5 minute walk from the ferry port, so no taxi required on arrival. There is a shopping mall across the street, and the location is well served by local taxis and public transport. The breakfast offered is extensive, with several regional cuisines catered for. The overall food offerings are varied, good quality and generally great value for money. Recommend a room on a higher floor facing the Grand Mosque and park for an outstanding view. Overall a very comfortable, convenient and good value for money place to stay whilst visiting Batam City.

Well the air-condition blower noise was disturbing sleep at night. The toilet facilities was not well maintained. The shower head was bad and the door hanger came off when I hang a tower on it??

Convenient as it’s close to our ferry terminal. Unfortunately inconsiderate staff (Yosi) as it’s my birthday and we’re asking to just extend a couple of hours to enjoy their place or to extend our check out time from 12 to 2 pm, we were declined 😞.

Paid extra for a double bedded sea view room. Arrived early, was checked in along with passports but our sea view room wasn’t ready. No problem. They stored our luggage, gave us the tag and we started our day out. Arrived back at hotel late at night expecting a good rest. Was informed by new set of receptionists that we weren’t checked in. Made to fish passports out of deep crevice of bagpack (sent there thinking it was no longer required until date of departure out of Batam). Then was told our reservation was for a standard twin bedder, city view. Even after we argued and showed email proof of our booking and asked to speak to a ‘higher up’ – manager not available but supervisor, was told sternly queen bed “for this time but no sea view”. Too tired to stand our ground, we took the “offer”, highly offended by the treatment. Were just getting comfortable when 1st call came through. Ignored. 2nd call came through a few minutes later. They’d realised their error and rather insisted to ‘help us pack’ our bags to relocate. Declined as we’d unpacked and were getting ready to retire for the night. Repeated that we should relocate. We gave up. Hung up. At about 1030pm-ish our door bell rang – 3 times!!! The saving grace was their manager, Zelvi who showed ultimate patience and poise when we complained the next morning. They’ve since written to us to inform that they will provide an upgrade and breakfast during our next stay. Should we though? Sigh!!

Don't let first impressions put you off. The styling of the hotel is not to my taste but the amazing service, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and incredible breakfast won me over very rapidly. Would definitely return.

The hotel staff is excellent, friendly and helpful On the last day of our stay, it was full house for breakfast, and staff Riki went the extra mile to open an extra table for 4 of us outside of the restaurant. Indeed it was a good gesture! Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of food spread and super liking the hotel staff vibes as every morning they will entertain guest with music and dance.

Check in: The room is not ready to check in at 2pm. Dragged till 2.40pm after kicking a fuss and provided us with another room Room condition: Good except for 2 minor issue. Ants found on the table near dustbin and the dustin in toilet screeching sound when use. 14/11: while still on bed snoozing at 7+ am, loud hammering on the wall at either other room or corridor can be heard. Other wise, it was perfectly good. Services were good. Staffs were friendly.

The hotel is literally beside (next door) the Batam Centre ferry terminal, so it was very convenient for us. And Mega Mall is just opposite the hotel. It is also very easy and convenient to go places with GrabCar. We enjoyed our stay at Harris Hotel Batam Centre (first time in a hotel with bolsters which help with good sleep 😅) and the good service and hospitality of its staff. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

I have a great stayed and fantastic view. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. I would highly recommend to stayed in Harris Hotel Batam. Will stay in Harris Hotel again for my next visit.
