Very conveniently situated for the motorway. Charming, friendly staff. Room was ok the carpets need cleaning and the bed is a little tired. Food in the restaurant across the way was great.

Check in was a bit confused as I’d booked 2 rooms and the gentleman on reception got a bit muddled with room numbers. Room was clean and comfortable and bathroom looked good but water pressure was a bit weak and shower head a bit clogged with limescale. I wasn’t very happy that paper cups were provided for the tea and coffee making. They were very flimsy and not really strong enough for their purpose. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of hot and cold food. The seedy bread was especially good! We also went to the restaurant next door and can highly recommend that too.

A reasonable hotel for the price. Carpet a bit grubby and dead flies on walls, ceiling and floor. Staff were excellent and extremely proactive initially, very helpful and friendly. However we were disturbed while sleeping a few times by staff despite do not disturb, and a phone call to the room at 11pm. Breakfast was nice but very small and basic for the €15 price. Beautiful bakery/cafe 3 min walk away
