Authentic Norman house between countryside and sea

We spent a wonderful Christmas in this beautiful old farmhouse set in the Normandy countryside. Christmas dinner in the farmhouse kitchen was memorable and we enjoyed trips to Rouen to see the Christmas market and to the town of Honfleur. It was the perfect setting for a family reunion.

We had a lovely quiet week in this house. As a large country house, there was plenty of room to relax, both in the house itself and the gardens. The house is well situated for trips to the coast and to Rouen.

We (4 adults and 4 children) have spent 14 very lovely days at this house. It is very spacious, fully equipped (BBQ, utilities, bikes, basic grocieries) and located on a huge property surrounded by a beautiful normandy countryside. There is not much traffic arround the house, it is very calm. Even though its location is quite remote, it is only 25-30 minutes away from the coast and also not far from urban centers, such as Rouen. It is the perfect starting point for exploring Haute Normandie. Also one can spend lovely evenings with friends and family on the huge property and in the house. We can therefore highly recommend the house for a beautiful summer holiday.

A beautiful property with a big outdoor space. A 20-30min drive will get you to plenty of lovely walks and sites- rivers, monasteries, beaches, animal parks. There’s a farm opposite which our children enjoyed watching the tractors come and go and the cows in the fields. Supermarket is a 10min drive. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and equipment. The housekeeper meet us on arrival and at departure and there was speedy communication when we had a power cut. A lovely stay enjoyed by all

Es handelt sich um ein wunderbares altes Haus. Durch seine angenehme und behütenden Atmosphäre fühlt man sich vom ersten Moment an dort sehr wohl. Die Menschen in Lindebeuf sind sehr nett und freundlich. Im kleinen Dorfladen kann man Baguette und wunderbare Croissants für das Frühstück bestellen.
